Or trying to get in front of something that has yet to come out.

I think the Obama distraction serves a lot of purposes but the main one is to neutralize the idea of criminally prosecuting a former president.

A good baked in “both sides” narrative when the time comes.

Basically, fling enough shit at Obama and hopefully the next administration determines it’s just not worth it to bring Trump to justice. “We need to come together and heal as a nation.” Or some other Nancy Pelosi type bullshit.

He knew EVERYTHING?...about what?

What exactly do you think Obama knew about?  Is Trump channeling his inner Senator Baker?  $50 says Trump doesn't know who Baker was.  And I'll bet my home not a single Trump voter on here knows who Senator Baker was.

Absolutely.  This is fucking horseshit, but I fully expect it to happen.

ETA: IMO, you can't let these people off the hook.  and i'm including his cult.  if they don't see repercussions, at least in the ranks of their leaders, they will just do it again

This makes my blood boil. The criminal who has no relationship with his kids/wife wants to separate Obama from his lovely wife and children for 50 years. I cannot stand this POS. Words cannot describe how much I hate him and his voters.

Even worse, he may be re-elected. We're digging our own graves with a Trump brand shovel.

His reelection will only happen through massive suppression or outright election fraud. Still very possible, but we're not really on the hook for that.

I'll say this if he goes down that road of trying to entangle Obama in his mess, it will only lead to the greatest black turnout in the history of this country. It will surpass 2008.

That should only benefit him, no president has done more for the blacks !!!!!!

just ask him

Can you even imagine how badly Obama wants to kick his ass? I mean we all want to, and he's not continuously talking shit about us personally every day to the world.

I can't imagine but really after a lifetime of this, he may have long let it go at a micro level and channeled it elsewhere in a positive manner to keep sane.

Obama has been writing his DNC keynote speech for 3 years now. He is going to eviscerate Trump in what might go down as one of the most watched speeches of all time. It will be perfectly delivered, the media will talk about it for 2 days, some 10 second zinger clip will go viral on twitter and get over a million likes. And Trump is going to lose his fucking mind.

Can't lose what you never had.

What's the name of the company in San Antonio?  The event planner-cum-pandemic food distributor?  Let's ruin somebody's business today.  I'm bored and have idle political capital.

It would be nice if the press didn't play along.

The press has always been a PR tool for the White House but they’ve rarely been challenged as much as they are now.   Trump’s entire campaign and presidency has been a non-stop effort to undermine the window into a shared reality for American society.  He does this through lies measured in the 10ks and playing the victim when he gets called out on those lies.  Things will get worse before they get better, which has held true since Trump was elected. The only positive is things will eventually get better.  However, we might be starting from scratch before that happens.

I am sorry; my oldest called earlier today. She's been tasked with some of the procedures for their lab reopening. Social distancing is tricky in a lab so they are brain storming. While it is a PITA, she seemed heartened by the possibility to return soon.

Anyway, this is the name of the company, bolded below. Yes, you read that right. I sense Trump's hand in this one:

The $39.1 million contract to a Texas-based event marketing agency — the seventh-largest contract on the list of roughly 200 businesses — has drawn particular scrutiny.

CRE8AD8 (pronounced “create a date”), a San Antonio firm with international offices, was chosen to supply hundreds of thousands of boxes packed with fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and meat products to food banks and nonprofits in the Southwest, stretching from Arizona to Arkansas.

The company’s social media include posts touting its services such as planning weddings and chartering private jets and yachts for C-suite executives for destination events.

“We didn’t know the potential or even to what extent we could help, but we saw an opportunity to do some good during this challenging time and took a chance,” CEO Gregorio Palomino said in a statement on Facebook. “We had no idea we’d be asked to help on this level. It’s truly awesome.”

The agency is hiring up to 125 workers to help get the boxes out starting by Friday, including chefs, project coordinators and safety specialists, Palomino told POLITICO in an email.

Asked about the company’s qualifications for a food distribution program, he said that CRE8AD8 has “more than 20 years of experience in logistics, execution and fulfillment,” and is partnering with a culinary team with lengthy experience in food safety and procurement.

“As they direct the food operations, we will lead with our expertise in coordinating and executing the logistics of fulfillment, labor management, regulatory and public communications and distribution,” Palomino said.

Food distributors say they are puzzled why such a large contract didn’t go to a company with deeper contacts throughout the food supply chain.

“The wedding planner is the ultimate comedy of errors,” said Brent Erenwert, CEO of Brothers Produce, a Houston-based produce distributor that applied but did not get awarded a contract. He said in an interview that his bigger concern is that the program might not meet its goal of helping both farmers and people in need.

“This deal is destined to crash before it takes off,” he said.

The upside to this is that this company will be hiring quite a few employees, the downside is whether they are in way over their heads and people will still go hungry and food will spoil.

so true i said it twice!

That is the single most damning thing about having to suffer as a Trumptard. Every single thing about that shithole or the homers that attend that shithole deservedly gets ridiculed on this site. Everything. From their delusions of grandeur, to their crippling insecurities, to their unmitigated incompetence in trying to succeed like a big boy, we routinely mock those morons.

And we all know that Trump's approval rating in CS is probably 95%+. I try to avoid absolutes in my life but as a general rule,  if 95% of aggy is in favor of anything that's a pretty good indicator that I'm much better off taking the opposite opinion. Who the fuck wants to align themselves to any philosophy that garners near universal support from those slapdicks?
