Unless of course they use Russian military thinking. I can see that.

It means they execute ruthless flanking maneuvers on corn, sorghum and sheep.  Occasionally lettuce, too.

They're undefeated against produce. Whoop!

Says the guy with Festus in his avatar.  Festus, the guy who became dumber as the show went on, who became the bumbling idiot that argued with doc because he didn't believe in his medicine or science.  The guy touted as the portrayer of common sense, but was really the common fool.

No, and that wouldn't count anyway. They relocated the logs and lost a duel of wits with them.

Logs are tricky like that--they're better at physics than your average Aggie.

Late 80s, I was in AIT (school post BT) to learn my job/position within MLRS Fire Direction at Fort Sill, OK. I came down to visit a buddy who was in the Corps and they were playing LSU that weekend.

I show up with a “flat-top” haircut and my buddy introduces me to his roommates and people on his hall that we came across. He told them that I was “real Army,” as actually being in the US Army. I was treated like royalty within his squad! Didn’t have to buy a single beer.

I tried telling them that I was only a PFC in training but those toy soldiers didn’t care.

They are just delusional numb skulls. Generational morons create generational morons.

Such a reach to try to tie their sports’ decades of failure to the military and/or agricultural sciences. West Point (Army) won NCs and Heismans since aggy’s only NC in 1939.

Navy has played for a NC - ‘63, with a Heisman winning QB. aggy is just full of ramped up visions of falsehood that they just believe it. Indoctrination since Fish Camp.

The ag school angle is even more absurd, given tons of ag schools have been dominate college football programs. Nebraska, Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Penn State, and Ohio state have all won modern national titles and been contenders for more and are also “ag schools”

1 Your audience has no idea what you're talking about or how to pronounce that word. That you can spell it throws suspicion on your own Aggiehood.

2 Found in abundance at places where inane tradition trumps all. Thank goodness inane tradition doesn't fit your model. It's the huge proportion of actual soldiers and farmers who have attended A&M for the last 50 years that are the root of your problem.

3 I believe this falls under hopeless traditions. Hide-bound, inane traditionalist (claiming to be farmers and soldiers) morons regularly fail at searches for the right guy.

It wasn't 7 it was 6, we missed the extra point hurrying up before the replay. If he was called down, he scores the next play anyways because he is VY and we make the extra point. Not having the replay cost us a point.

USC also likely doesn't have time to kick a field goal before half if he's called down.

So how much ag shit was Old Army sporting? I'm gonna guess aTm hat, 12th man golf towel, and Reveille driver head cover at a minimum.

Tell me that you or @SydneyCarton at least once got in an "ooh, that looked like 4th and 1 last November" when the dude left a putt short.

He was genuinely a nice guy, so it was hard to just overtly stick a knife into his guts and twist.

But man it’s tempting.

SydneyCarton and I had the luck of playing a round of 18 yesterday with a true member of Old Army. We have a buddy, who is a 2%er if there ever was one, that we play with once every 6-8 weeks. We were short a 4th yesterday and he brought along an old boss of his that is also now his friend.
So we started the day with redass older dude seeing my longhorn hat and SC’s longhorn polo and the old hits started early when he started talking shit to us about the 9-0 loss the night before in baseball to Arkansas.
Living vicariously through other teams? Check.
“We just swept y’all and you’re talking shit?”
He tells us we barely won and they’d have won at home or neutral.
Minimizing Texas achievements while claiming hypothetical wins? Check and check.
Gems from the rest of the day:
-“Marcel Reed is special”
-“Klein knows football. “
-“Elko is going to get it done.”
-“Wish we were gifted the schedule you guys had last year and yours this year. “
-“The OLine is going to carry us. “
I know I missed several. It was hard to keep up. The screenshots from this thread were jumping off of the Internet and into our real life and it was surreal. It helped that we kept baiting him with softball after softball.

Very similar to “political talking points” rehashed on multiple channels within 48 hours. The only difference is the cadence of the talker/speaker.
