Holy smokes ... can't believe these guys thought this made for a good tweet.

The look, the demeanor, the talk, the tone ...

Is it just me, or is it strange to have “Home of the 12th Man” at their practice field. I get that fans might like that but subconsciously, I’d be concerned that it would instill and sense of inadequacy in their players where they are being consistently reminded that the football team long ago wasn’t good enough and had to be saved by a guy in the stands.

Friendly amendment: and begged a guy who had quit the team to agree to play again buy never put him in the game.

My only worry about this game is Guilbeau playing corner. He's never had an INT, only 7 PBU, and that's about it, an they want to possibly one on one him with arguably the best WR in the country?

Not arguably, dude is the best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson.

a. I think you’re overthinking it.
b. They do practice cheering.

The days growth of beard doesn't work for everyone, Coach.

I don’t know why, but I saw this post and thought “you just know that fatass is a heavy breather”.  Microphones must hate him.

Something only the Aggies worry about. We all know where this is going.

And, on post number 6, it arrives.

Has anyone ever seen a concern anywhere else about one's status as another team's rival?

This is a perverse version of stolen glory. We are not glorious through achievement; we're glorious because we are the most despised of a glorious opponent!

That they see no meaning in the proportion of one school's fight song mention of them, which is sorta dismissive, and their own War Hynm (fuckin' war hymn, man. fuckin' serious shit!) which is dedicated to their hated rival and even choreographed is so indicative of their beloved delusion.

This guy loses sight of the question:

As I sort through my raised hackles, I must point out that there are posts recognizing OU as our likely main rival. I've never spent a minute fretting over us being theirs when they were in the middle of their exciting competition with Nebraska back in the Big 8. I doubt Arkansas cares if we consider them our number one rival. Texas and Arkansas, in these cases, don't identify themselves by their importance to a school they hate.

But back to pathology:

Where's the pathology? you ask. The man's evidence:

A meme from 2006 with a screenshot of Hornfans. Seven references to A&M. One is written by an Aggie. I think Miller58 was an Aggie poster, but I don't remember if he posted his crazy shit on HF or T-Ags.

One is about the famous nut-squeeze event from their Tech (loss at A&M, 31-7, pirate soldier game). Tech won with a td with under 1 minutes left. Testicles squeezed in vain. Sad.

And various ridicule. 2006. It's not psycho at all to keep this crushing bit of evidence at hand!

Some Aggie boilerplate:

Pitiful hope about Arkansas:

Everybody despises you. That's not the same thing as hate, my Aggie friends. Most only think of you on game week nowadays.

i have never heard them say we are "cow worshipers"

they are the ones that have a dead dog scoreboard and cultural, academic and military rules for their dog

whatever

the other wtf? in that batch is the "demanding to take the rivalry weekend game with lsu game away from them"

again, that's news, wtf is that about?

this was only 3 years ago and the storyline was 100% "we've been promised the first game is at pyle to make up to us for us having fake our approval of letting them in"

corndog was not mentioned once that i can recall - did i miss it?
