The third option of actually applying critical analysis to the program's decisions instead of blindly supporting everything they do with rah rah cheerleading, which would actually serve to hold them accountable and in turn improve their performance, never even occurs to them.

Let's be very clear about something, if Mark Stoops had been officially hired and announced every single A&M writer would have deified him. Every single one.

I'm generally of the belief that Looch is in on the conspiracy. He generates much of the hype that leads to the unrealistic expectations. He feeds the inability to think critically by pumping up an overly optimistic message that is then repeated until it becomes truth so no actual assessment has to be done. No critical thought required. No self assessment.

Ags are easily brainwashed... It starts with fish camp and you can see it on the political forum where they are susceptible to repeated taking points. They are susceptible to group think when an inspiring leader repeats the message over and over again. They don't deal in facts, they wallow in fiction.

This leads to inflated self worth, inability to actually assess and address issues, and reliance on conspiracies to explain their failure to meet expectations.

I think the school is in large part to blame for cultivating this this culture, but Looch as the "Sip" mastermind has taken it full throttle to generate a ton of income for himself and continue propogate this victim complex.

It would make a fascinating book.

I love how the “great sip media conspiracy” is because UT has a journalism school, as though j-schools are dedicated to churning out rabid footsoldiers for their athletic programs. If that were the case, the national sports press would be full of glowing coverage of Northwestern, Missouri and Columbia U.

you forgot the biggest one in sports press, inclusive of behind the camera talent:

Interesting that they are constantly shouting about the political, slimy, underhanded, media-manipulating tactics of Texas when their go to move is to leak things to the media to try and manipulate the situation.

Leaking the Texas to the SEC story, which subsequently backfired on them.

leaking the Stoops hire, outcome TBD. weren’t they even bragging about this one?

every accusation a confession

Did that idiot even read the ESPN article? They have us losing to Washington, Alabama beating Michigan, and then Alabama beating Washington in the final. So much for a 'sip conspiracy'.

The most hillarious part is that it is a 25% coinflip anyway, grab a coin and flip it twice if heads comes out twice you literally have the odds of their insane coincidence being an actual coincidence, and not a conspiracy.

With that p-value I do not believe we can reject the null hypothesis of it not being rigged

Mr. Phlegm (good wishes to him wherever he is) posited the idea that A&M President Bowen Loftin, a Rice Grad, was sabotaging the Aggies by getting them into the SEC.

Their culture is degenerative. No organization or country has ever been made better by constant self-congratulation and resistance to change.

My favorite part of Aggie in the fetal position is the constant mantra that they want only guys who really want to be Aggies.

Good luck with that you fucking idiots.

No kidding. Nobody outside of Aggies REALLY wants to be an Aggie. Walter Nolen wasn't there because he bleeds maroon and white.
