Like other aggy qb transfers. Weigman is going on to a bigger and better life.

Elko has a habit of shoving his head into cooking chambers and devouring entire cooked meats meant for a family. While on vacation in Hawaii, he actually shoved his face into an Imu at a Luau and devoured 2/3 of a hog.

We should lure Connor to Texas and have him backup Arch all year.  Then let him start against aggy and rip them a new asshole.

Nah bruh… nah.. nah nah…

But maybe he’d make a decent tight end.

No, he never made it to campus and his decommitment caused an aggy grease fire with that recruiting class.

The most important thing to know about Texas A&M Aggies left tackle Trey Zuhn is that he’s full Aggy.

The term employed to describe full cultists is offensive enough to spark a strange, barely-comprehensible post from a site that would be better known as Aggy Wire and fully describes Zuhn, a third-generation Aggie who was brainwashed from a young age.

That means the typical obsessive behavior of Texas Longhorns-hating rivals — think anything that Danny Stutsman ever does — like buying a photo of a Longhorn and hanging it upside down in his room.

And even more extreme behavior like Zuhn described at SEC Media Days in July — going into stores with his family and turning Texas gear upside down, true multigenerational weirdness.

Between that appearance in Dallas and a media availability this week during which Zuhn delivered some tepid bulletin-board material about Texas linebacker Anthony Hill and said that he felt bad for the environment the Longhorns were going to experience at Kyle Field (Gunnar Helm had some post-game thoughts on that), A&M’s starting left tackle made clear that Saturday was going to be a defining moment for him.

“I was born and raised an Aggie, so I’ve been dreaming about playing in this game my whole life,” Zuhn said.

Zuhn even narrated the pre-game hype video.

Let’s check on how that went for him on Saturday.

Maybe it doesn’t look so bad as a still.

Maybe things went better for Zuhn trying to block Texas defensive tackle Alfred Collins on the game’s defining play on the goal line.

Zuhn was given a 46.9 run-blocking grade by Pro Football Focus, the lowest of the three-year starter’s career, and was called for a holding penalty on the drive that ended in the goal-line stop by Texas. At least he recovered a fumble by quarterback Marcel Reed?

Having advanced past the “find out” portion of the proceedings, Zuhn now knows what it feels like to be truly Aggy — living with Battered Aggie Syndrome, which is in fact not a thing of the past, and for which there is no cure.

Tried to find Liucci’s “Conner Weigman is that guy” tweet/quote. I didn’t find that one, but did find this:

https://www.rivalrypro.com/game-time/texas-am-vs-new-mexico-3-things-we-loved-and-3-we-didnt

What I loved:
1) Connor Weigman
Weigman is that guy. He's the present and future of the Aggies. He looked poised, decisive, and accurate, with an arm capable of making every throw that the offense needed. Through six games as a starter, he's 91/155 passing (58.7%) for 13 touchdowns and no picks, and that's including the 14/36 outing against Auburn last year, where the entire offense was in peak disaster form. The accuracy will improve this year, and if Weigman can up that completion percentage to around the 70% mark, this offense will be one of the best in the country

My 10th grader told me a joke yesterday:

Q: What do Texas and Texas A&M students have in common?

A: They both applied to Texas

Other shared characteristics:

1) Neither can explain to outsiders the logic behind aggy turditions

2) Both schools having winning records at Kyle Field

3) They have November symmetry: aggy didn't beat an FBS opponent this November, and Texas didn't lose to one.

4) Both aggy and Longhorn faithful were overjoyed when A&M hired Fisher as HFBC

5) Both schools helped Duke with QB/HFBC transfers this year

6) Both schools have fight songs about The University of Texas

He'll be at Clemson in two years and throw for 1,920 yards, a 72.5% completion rate, 8.1 yards per attempt, and have a 155.0 QB rating.

Hire Sark away from us? Aren't they still paying Jimbo?

My favorite part of this play is the end, where Zuhn runs over to Daniels for no apparent reason, and then walks over to pick up the ball as it's rolling around next to Daniels, who is also rolling around on the ground.

I assume that he decided that he needed to do something productive after getting shoved two full yards into the backfield by AC.

Conner got close.  He didn't quite hit 70%, but he's a solid 56.1% on the year.

Nah, ordered it in 2018 for cash. Covid delayed it a few times and cancelled my museum pick up. Do you lease cars? Trying to lease two Lucids for the company.

If I didn't love what we already have on campus and what we're bringing in, I'd be unironically advocating the NBRP: The Nah-Bruh Reclamation Program. Drug testing, tight nutritional control, Bennie-Wylie-approved workouts, bring in local magicians for sleight-of-hand immersion therapy.

87% sure it was a tweet after the Miami loss last year.

Shamelessly stolen from TexAgs:

Since our Big XII Title in 1998:

Number of seasons with better than an 8-4 record:

Slocum: 0 / 4
Fran: 1 / 5
Sherman: 1 / 4
Sumlin: 1 / 6
Fisher: 2 / 6
Elko: 0 / 1

5 / 26

21 of 26 seasons have been 8-4 or worse. This is actually unbelievable.

I wouldn't say it's unbelievable, Bob.

Yup.  It's only unbelievable to people who have strange, unfounded, unrealistic expectations for Texas A&M.

And just think of how many games against FCS schools it took to get there.  Yikes.

This is proof that the BOMC doesn’t exist. If it did, no way aggy would get preseason hype every fucking year. Those idiots get way more press than they should for continuous mediocre results, especially with the number of cupcakes they had to play to even attain consistent mediocrity.

They get hyped by the ESPN/SEC machine so that when the good teams beat them it counts as a "ranked win".

The metric is MORE than 8 wins since 1998. I think UT has 14 of those seasons in that time frame.
