C’mon, be fair. I mentioned this upthread, but it bears repeating. Marcel Reed found the end zone. In fact, he completed a pass to a player in the end zone as the fourth quarter came to a close. Clutch.

Bad news for the dude who loves large loads… they’ve already lost 3 in a row AND 2 in a row were at their shitty tackle box.

So Klein ruined the end of their season? Well, that’s a take.

I’ve reworked the final rankings based on playoff performance:

  1. University of Miami

  2. Texas A&M University Flagship Campus at College Station

  3. University of Oregon

  4. Indiana University

  5. ‘Ole Miss

  6. East Texas A&M at Commerce

  7. Ohio State University

  8. University of Alabama

  9. Texas A&M University Corpus Christi

  10. Texas Tech University

  11. University of Oklahoma

  12. TIE: Texas A&M University Kingville

  13. TIE: Tarleton State University

  14. BYU

  15. Notre Dame

  16. texas university Sip Lesbian Campus

Is York fast enough to play S in the NFL? I guess he can be a mid to late round ST ace.

Yeah, he’s not an NFL LB. IMHO, he’s too slow and small for LB, which doesn’t bode well for safety either. Someone’s giving him bad advice.

They were 0-1 against the NCAA during that stretch as well. I really thought they might catch some SMU treatment back then.

Love the selective memory, always reminds me of

That did happen. But the rivalry has shifted pretty decisively back to us after 1994. Which was...32 years ago. We went 9-2 in the 11 years after 1994, is doing one game worse really that big a difference? And Texas has had more dominant stretches, we had a 10-0-1 stretch at one point.

And A&M didn't really erase us as we also lost to just about everybody else in that stretch. Our only team that was any good beat them in 1990.

They act like somehow we are bending the truth or using propaganda here. It is them who think their run from 1984 to 1994 has some increased significance over any other stretch of time. And good for them but the other years still count.

Pathetic little pansies. I don't know of any Longhorn fan who wouldn't readily acknowledge their "decade of dominance" over us, but it is funny, and a little sad that they don't want to talk about what has happened since 1995. Oh, and I'm too lazy to look this up, but since we're talking about the aggy decade of dominance, what is the closest they got to a national championship during that time? What was their bowl record? I guess Daddy is the only thing that matters when it comes to dominance. Like many recalcitrant adolescents, they have serious daddy issues. Pussies.

They pretty much only dominated the SWC. They had one big win over Notre Dame in...um...the 1988 Cotton Bowl I think? Every other chance they had to do something big on the national stage they blew it.

Edit: Ok they also beat Auburn in the 1986 Cotton Bowl, which was probably their best team in that stretch. And they never once finished in the top 5 during their 11 year "decade" of dominance.

That Essay Potna is the biggest aggy fucktard on social media. Dude probably fellates Looch while scrolling through Figurelli's instagram on Sunday afternoons.

They were among the worst cheaters in that time period they love to crow about. At least Eric Dickerson took the Trans Am and STILL went to SMU.

Oh yeah, we're 14-5 against them since then, so that makes it 15-15 since the start of the Jackie years. Cherry-picking timeframe can always be countered.

That “dominant” period was based on cheating by a POS Jackie Sherrill crew who got them on double secret probation, narrowly missing the Death Penalty, severe sanctions including TV and bowl bans. Then he was fired and went on to MSU where they were also sanctioned for cheating.

Yeah, something to be proud of by a fan base that still has no clue about their hypocritical, dirty history.

Yeah well...still counts. Same as SMU's wins.

Kind of glad we are past that era. Now billionaires can just nakedly buy players but at least it is transparent.

Didn’t they land on probation three times during this “historic run”?

I didn't say otherwise, but that timeframe into the late 1980's represented a dearth of talent on the 40 Acres that hasn't been experienced since. We were just getting smoked by teams that were far more adept at the bag game.

Man, if aggy could just go back to the 90's for football and to the first half of the 20th century for civil rights, they'd be living their best life.

Are those dudes really spanking it something that happened over 30 years ago, when the recent record since then is 14-5 in favor of Texas?

Sure, but SMU isn't the school that's constantly chest-thumping and proclaiming their "honor."

SMU grads have generations of inherited wealth. That proclaims all they need.

Well, they needed a lot more than that in 1987, but sure, now that's all they need.

He's 5'10" and 220lb+ and not exactly a fast college LBer. Will he even get invite to the combine?

I guess I saw him as a "nice" college player who may get a look as an UDFA as a potential ST contributor.

I assume he's leaving some NIL money behind. This is really puzzling. I didn't exactly watch a lot of Aggy games this year, so I could be way off.

This is odd -- I don't remember all of those games, because some of them were not televised. Can anyone tell me why they all weren't on TV?
