We can assume that Texas isn't done at multiple spots, including Edge/DE. The OTF guys have been pretty clear on Kreul. If Texas wants him, they can get him. Texas doesn't mind the notion of adding a "specialist" if the player has an elite skill. There is debate about whether Kreul's pass rushing skillset can be truly elite at the P4 level.

That recruitment, whether Texas goes all-in on landing Kreul or not, will not impact their efforts for Henderson. The changes to the House settlement confirmed where we thought the NIL world was headed, and to Texas as well. We think we're seeing angst with the Georgia folks? There's a good shot SEC Rant goes up in fucking flames in the future as the mouthbreathing natives wail and gnash teeth. Or tooth, depending upon which coonass clown is posting, I guess.

Regarding Georgia, part of the hilarity in their meltdowns is that they've offered more to the 2026 cycle of recruits, and committed more capital for their 30+ signees, than any other school. Their $9.95ers absolutely know this. Their posters are either willfully oblivious or simply laughable hypocrites regarding same.

Now, if Texas gets into another feeding frenzy and lands 28-30 guys, that tidbit might not hold up. I kind of expect things to land there, personally.

If they take Kreul, it will be with a thought to have positional flexibility. For that matter, Kosi Okpala self-reported that he would start out at Edge. It won't surprise me if the staff sees Kreul's best fit at LB if he's actually maxed out his frame.

OTF mentioned a potential path like Trey Moore.

As of right now, it doesn't appear that they're taking Kreul. I say that because it is known what it would take to shut that one down. Things can and do change in recruiting, as we all know too well, so we'll see. Regardless, if they do take him, it's apparently not to develop him at LB. Maybe that would happen over the years on campus, I guess.

Sorry for the double post, but I have a few thoughts and questions.

  • The staff just doesn't seem that high on Kreul. I understand we're okay with his limitations (if the price is right), but these tweeners never seem to pan out. It seems like the better move would be to let someone else develop him and tamper with him later if he looks good. If we can't pull him in the portal, oh well. That being said, denying Oklahoma a player it wants is as good a reason is any to take a croot so I'm good either way.
  • It's weird to me that "coon" is a slur for black people while "coonass" is a slur for white people.
  • Are we actually doing this rivalry with Georgia? Because the shit I've seen over the last two weeks is how we end up with a rivalry with Georgia. I don't give a shit about them but if we're all going full regard on the dawgs then so be it. I just want us to go into this with both eyes open because their fans seem to be on Tech's level of annoying and shitty. I would rather not add "Tech, but better at football" to the list of our rivals. Arkansas is more than enough trailer trash for me.
  • 28-30 guys? Really? That seems absurd. Is it because of the new roster rules? We're already so loaded and have retained so well, I just assumed this would be a smaller class.

For Kreul, I want him simply to keep OU’s class fully in the toilet. Texas wants what they’re calling a Designated Pass Rusher (DPR) in this class, so maybe they say “fuck it” and take the guy.

Regarding taking 28-30, you’re a regular poster on a recruiting board. It reminds me of the posters on the football board who complain about extra playoff or bowl games. I don’t think anyone should worry over attrition or the numbers, just enjoy what will wind up being the assembly of a top 3-ish class or better.

We don't need to steal from the Okies to beat them. They are in the toilet for the next four years, he'll probably transfer anyway.

It's not a double win this time, they are garbage and to garbage they will return.

Kreul seems small and guys like him tend to get recruited over very quicky.  Kinda reminds me of Akana, a guy that was supposed to be DPR and never was able to gain weight or contribute.  Since "the numbers" don't really matter, I guess it doesn't hurt to take him and see if he can bake into Trey Moore in 2-3 years.

Here are a few players that are almost exactly the same size as recruits:

  • Breckyn Hager
  • Jeffrey McCulloch
  • Joe Ossai (Kreul is an inch shorter)

The pendulum swings willy nilly

So, I took one for the team and actually read that stupid AF article on Sydney Sweeney's tits. For all of you, and for science. And it's as fucking dumb as you'd imagine. Also, you're all welcome because it's one of the better distractions, you cheese punning fucks.

Fun Fact, I actually learned this next small bit of preamble during a class at UT. Generally speaking, one common facet of the female attractiveness is the ratio of a woman's different attributes. Chest to Waist, Wasit to Hip, Body Shape, etc. It's called the Golden Ratio, and it's math. It's like 1.6 or something. In class the data shared was that playboy playmate measurements were compared over the last 75 years or some such, and while the weight, shape, and measurements always changed over time, the ratio basically was a constant through the decades.

Why is that important in regards to Sydney Sweeney's amazing, amazing tits?

Because outside of the obvious, that stupid fucking article citied literally aggregate measurements from the lingerie industry that said that the average female beast size is 34 or 36DD. That's right, the gold standard we all grew up with for MASSIVE HOLY SHIT TITS is apparently the national average. How can that be? Because included in that statistic was every fucking disgusting fatbody that most of America deems completely unfuckable, to the point of being invisible except to give me passing feelings of disgust at pretty much every public space I occupy. From my 600 lb life, to just the morbidly obese, to the people who shop at Wal Mart, to just the simple pear shaped lady, it's all included in that average.

So you see guys, her boobs aren't THAT big because America is super super fat, and fat women's massive tit's count too. That's it. That's the article.

Who're you going to believe, guys, you're lying eyes or an article that was ghost written by Vic Mackey or jealous ass Jabette the Hutt?

You work in digital marketing and ecommerce and you only remember the golden ratio from Human Sexuality class at Texas?

If you want to read some of the most comical yet nauseating stuff on the Internet, Slate is usually a good bet. The movie reviews are generally some of the (unintentionally) funniest, most overwritten pieces of trash you can find on the Internet. They have to be written by someone who graduated from Brown or Swarthmore with a Women's Studies degree.

I'm glad we are back worrying about topics like Sweeney's tits and do we have the actual scholarship numbers as opposed to whether we are ever going to sign a recruit ever again and which five star are we losing because we did not offer what we should for that high school kid.

Yeah. Her tits are amazing because they’re on a tight little 5’2” 115 lb body where about 15% of that weight is on her chest. They would look unremarkable on a 500 lb woman in a cart in Walmart.

It wasn’t Human Sexuality, although I took that. It was in one of my Comm classes.

and yeah, I haven’t had to run across a lot of need for that kind of knowledge in my field. Hard to fit a huge pair of tits in a google text ad box while I try to hawk completely unrelated services. I guess we could try, though.

I think the move is to let him commit to OU now, then flip him at the last minute leaving OU empty handed with no replacement.

Aren't we just kidding ourselves that such a finish will take the sting out of not being in top 3 in June? I guess it's an okay consolation prize, but let's not lie to ourselves. June recruiting is where it's at.

Ossai is the only one that starts and gets playing time on this team.  He also had a longer frame and was taller.  Gerry has said Kreul is more along the lines of 6'2 220 lbs.  That's small for edge in a LOS league like the SEC.  He's also coming from IMG and a good S&C program so not sure how maxed out his frame is at this point.

Shark was OLB, Hager was a borderline walk-on.  I don't know if either guy are even 2nd string as seniors on this team.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Kreul is too small. Let him go elsewhere.

If Sark really wants a big white kid that can play, circle back on Wafle after Riley lights himself on fire this fall.

Breckyn Hager. Sweet Christ. I remember two things about that guy other than him perpetually either being out of place or getting ragdolled.

1) Him crying like a baby on the sidelines at the end of the TCU game in 2016 because he was so distraught about Chuckles being tossed out on his ass.

2) Him getting to wear #60 in the bowl game, bringing the number off the pedestal and down to an all-time low.

I now have no interest in Kreul if that is the comp.

Also, the way I've heard Kreul discussed, the problem that mostly comes to mind is Justice Finkley. I appreciate Finkley coming to Texas and having a good spirit to help with the turn of the program's culture, but he was just too small. Does Kreul having a crazy first step dim that concern? I guess we don't really know yet.

Hager somehow made Bruce Feldman’s 2018 CFB Freaks list. That pretty much ruined the list for me
