which is the reason The Woodlands will never incorporate...the second they start thinking about incorporating Houston will annex em.

Well, they changed the state law in 1999 with Senate Bill 89 to help prevent another Kingwood scenario. In honor of the thread, Houston would now have to "recruit" an area in order to annex them.

One gets the feeling that, 20 years from now, Ojo might be a case study in some college business class.

SHouldn't take more than a coupla years until NC2A rules allow school's employees to participate on athletic teams. Prolly gonna hafta be full-time, although they might be able to have private employment as well. NC2A could say NO to this, but B1G and SEC are fairly well set up to defect if it fails.

When players no longer have to "graduate" and leave, recruiting ceases to be a major issue. Be fun to watch governments trying to cap salaries in some legalistic fashion.

Basically, what you are saying is the staff should evaluate well, because there are 5 star busts and some 3 star gems. This is well known. 5 stars get drafted around 60% of the time. 4 stars are 25% of the time. 3 stars gets drafted around 6%. A typical class will have around 32 5 stars with 19 drafted with 13 "busts". There are around 2000 3 stars in a class with 120 drafted and 1880 "busts". Easy to say stash a 3 star, save the NIL, and develop them, but the numbers tell you that it is much harder to hit on 3 stars compared to 5 stars.

Not necessarily take a 3 star, but don't break the bank for a RB unless you're sure he's Bijan or close to that level. Go a level lower and get a quality eval. Honestly, I don't care if they make it in the NFL. As long as they produce in college.

At edge, DT, QB, and CB? I'd be more willing to put a large investment of now limited funds for those positions. RB, OL, and receiver just seem to bust more at the top.

How does the Florida running back compare to the ones we missed out on? SIAP

OTF guys think Cooper is the best back in the country. Gerry has been taking that position for at least 6 months. Sarkisian and Choice, the the new RBC, seemed to have Crowell ranked higher. Either way, Cooper is about as excellent a prospect as could be targeted at RB in this cycle.

I actually liked Crowell's HUDL better, but as I have asserted before, I'm no expert.  Something to consider, though, is Cooper has been playing two-way his entire high school career.  I think Gerry once said that Cooper has received interest as a safety.  One might reasonably expect his development as a RB to receive a boost once he's no longer playing both ways.

I heard the “2” key requires far less finger pressure than the “A” key.
