That Kelce brother, shirtless, slamming Bud Lights in the freezing cold.  I don’t give a fuck about the NFL.  But put me down for the Chiefs to win straight up.  Plus my daughter likes seeing Taylor Swift on TV.  I’m also vaguely aware Baltimore has a team still and god bless Justin Tucker.

Naw if anything please Baltimore win! I like Taylor Swift, but I'm tired of seeing the Chiefs win all the time.

Well ole Dan isn't gonna kick, that's for sure.

I really hope cinderella's story doesn't end this weekend. F the 9ers

samuel practiced today normally running routes and catching passes in both RB and WR drills

the only stat i can find for detroit to wishcast around is the 49ers have the most conference title appearances, but the most losses with a record of 7-11 in 18 games

If he plays it’s going to be tough. I like the stats that the 9ers are like 15-1 with CMac, Debo, and Purdy and without any of them they are 2-4.

further breakdown on 49er conference final performance:

2011    22-Jan-12    L        New York Giants    17    20

1949*    4-Dec-49    W        New York Yankees    17    7

The AAFC had 8 teams it's first 3 seasons 46/47/48

Brooklyn folded and the last AAFC season had 7 teams

To determine who played the 49 AAFC Champsionship game, 1 played 4 and 2 played 3

The Niners crammed in 46k @ Kezar and beat the Yankees in their first ever playoff game

*TECHNICALLY* that game might be measured in this discussion which makes SF 6-5 at home in the game before the game

However the upshot of this is that SF are not impregnable at home in the game before the game

sidestat: boys are 8-8 in the game before the game

conclusion: this game is a bitch

Today we see:

Longhorn vs Aggie.

In some ways the two coaches embody the image of their schools. Shanahan is considered smart, creative, professional.

Campbell is a lughead who stomps around like the Cro-magnan in a Geico commercial. But despite this, there is part of me that likes the non-conventional approach of Campbell.

The moon may only be Gibbous, but it is a swirling Gibbous, which could come into play today.

The only defense he’s played this good in the playoffs was Tampa. I’ll take the Ravens to cover.

If his OT's play like they did last week, the Chiefs win.  If they play like they did for most of the season, it's a layup for the Ravens.

tucker wins game on last drive after a clutch scramble by Lamar on 4th down. 28-27 ravens

Lions race out to lead but take foot off the gas and get torched by McCaffrey in 2nd half. Goff turtles in 4th Q and turns ball over x2.   31-27 SF

If I were betting on the spreads I just saw, I’d easily take KC (+4.5) and DET (+7.5). I think both games will be close.

I haven’t had a favorite NFL team since 1995, so I don’t really care that much who wins or loses, but KC is starting to get boring like NE was for 20 years, and LJ is fun to watch, so hoping to see BAL win. And I guess I’m pulling for SF because I like Shanahan and their general scheme/style, but DET is entertaining too, and their crazy sonofabitch coach is fun with his risk-taking style.

What the hell is this post? I don’t watch NFL outside of the playoffs now, this is pretty stupid objectively speaking. KC is not at all boring to watch or boring. It may be tiresome seeing them be in the championship game so often but that’s a result of them being a very fucking good team.

I know they’re good.

If you want to call it “tiresome” instead of “boring,” that’s fine, but those words mean the same thing.
