The worst part about it not being covered?  Romney's 47% comment was also in private, at a fundraiser, and boy did that get A TON of play in the media.

This?

Any other "journalist" would have demanded full independence to ask their own questions, but it's Fox News, so I'm sure it'll be:

Why do you hate America?
Why do you think all Trump supporters are racists?
Why do you want to forcibly transition school children and soldiers?
Did I ask why you hate America so much?

This dumbfuck is what is propping up Trump in Polymarket:

We talked about this with respect to FL and TX.  These are not independent variables.

Of all the people on Fox News, Bret Baier is not bad.  He has moments of sanity.

I'd rather it be Neil Cavuto, but BB is the second best choice there

Now tell me, where do you think the best place to talk about policy would be?

You clearly didn't understand my post. I'm not talkinga about what his response would be to this publicly. I'm talking about him unraveling privately becuase he knows a black woman is smarter than him.

He already knows and already is unraveling. He's a troll. He wants her to engage him. She can bury him by just letting him wrap the rope around his own neck and letting the voters kick away the chair. Playing along is not a winning strategy at all.

3 weeks to go. Where is everyone's head with how this will resolve.

I still think Harris is going to eke out a small EC win by early Wed morning. I'm guessing she wins with PA and NV.

A close election would make sense if the candidates shared many similarities. These two could not be more dissimilar. It’s why I believe  this election will not be close at all. There’s not much to mull. The choice is clear.

Episode 7 Wow GIF by Wrexham AFC

Sore Loser With three weeks to go until Election Day, Donald J. Trump stands a reasonable chance of becoming the 47th President of the United States. Despite assassination attempts, impeachments, special counsels, felony convictions and hundreds of millions in civil penalties, most polls show his race against V.P. Kamala Harris is too close to call.

The first time he ran for president in 2016, he was coming off the last season of Celebrity Apprentice. I had a front row seat as a finalist on that final season and marveled at his audacity with his checkered past to seek the highest office in the land. Then, in the blink of an eye, he went from novice to formidable challenger to victorious over Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

As President he was a loyal friend, who allowed regular access. My resulting coverage gave him the benefit of most doubts. His presidency was underrated. Throughout his first big scandal in office, the 2017-2019 Mueller Investigation into allegations Trump conspired with Russia to undermine our political process, I stuck with him, deeply suspicious of constant efforts to undermine his Administration.

The last time President Trump and I spoke was Friday, November 13, 2020, when he called me at home. It was ten days after his narrow lost to Joe Biden. He was calling to get my take on the controversies surrounding the election, which appeared to have been decided by a handful of votes in several states. I asked him what he would do if the vote count remained against him. As I reported on Fox News that same morning, Friday the 13th, he told me he was a reasonable man and would do the right thing if that time came.

It never did. Instead, President Trump embarked on an increasingly menacing campaign to discredit the 2020 election. With a motley supporting cast of increasingly fringe characters, he careened from one bizarre theory to the next, offering no meaningful proof, that he had been robbed by the Democrats.

None exists. If you are a Republican, Donald Trump has made a liar of you. He has coaxed and intimidated tens of millions into pretending he was reelected in 2020, and that the election was stolen.

In furtherance of that Big Lie, on January 6, 2021, Trump incited and unleashed the violent attack on the center of democracy, the U.S. Capitol for which he was Impeached. As his followers trashed that sacred space, he was on the phone urging Vice President Mike Pence essentially to overturn the will of the American people. Pence refused to put Trump ahead of the Constitution. Trump stabbed the Constitution in the back. Maybe you are inclined to vote for the former president anyway, because he says he will cut your taxes or build the border wall or pull out of NATO or put tariffs on China. However, you justify voting for Trump, adopting his big lie about the stolen election makes you a liar.

Better to admit he lost last time but that you don’t care because a Harris presidency would be a disaster, or you admire his defiance in the face of an assassin’s bullet. Just don’t pretend that he got robbed in 2020. That is a lie. Former President Trump is a sore loser who cannot be trusted to honor the Constitution. That is why I am voting for Kamala Harris to be our 47th President.

Yep.  Straight into his pockets for his post-election legal battles.

But not the ones he will wage to overturn the results, those you still have to donate more money for!  Just the ones for the all the crime he did in office.  Which you're also paying for.

Well he did say the Taliban was a "medium" threat in Afghanistan after we pulled out in 2021 and said it would take at least 2 years for them to take over.  It took 10 days.

He said Kyiv would likely fall in 72 hours if Russia invaded.  Its been over 2.5 years.

Actual US citizens (brown people who were naturalized, mostly) were actually deported.  Other brown people had to meet a quick and threatening burden of proof -- if you were brown in an area where the authorities were conducting a round-up, you best be able to prove your citizenship quickly.

It was a shitshow, and violated the fuck out of the Constitution.  So of course Trump loves it.

That sucks, but it shouldn't be too difficult for a naturalized U.S. citizen to get back into the United States, never mind the fact that they shouldn't have to do it in the first place.

I really have no strong predictions about the outcome of the election.  But I KNOW 2 things:

1. Enthusiasm for Harris is higher than it was for Biden in 2020 or Clinton in 2016.

2. Enthusiasm for Trump is lower than it was in 2016 or 2020.

The 1 thing I know is I will be at the Marriott bar in Burbank acting like a fool on election night if Harris wins.

If I'm not mistaken, that was his prediction if Ukraine was left to fend for itself with zero foreign aid. Which was a lot of smart people's conclusions. I think most everyone (thankfully) severely underestimate Ukraine's fighting spirit and ability to thwart what was viewed as a formidable invader.

2022 behavior (more in-person voting) with 2020 turnout is great. Means more definitive results on November 5 and not waiting all week.

For those convinced this will drag out like 2020, which it probably won't be waiting around for mail-in ballots to be counted.

Well he made the prediction to congress on February 5 and Russian invaded on February 24.  Obviously no material foreign aid was forthcoming in that 19 day window.

He is gone now so it doesn't really matter but no person in the world had access to as much intelligence regarding both situations as he did and he was just spectacularly wrong.  he should have been fired or, at a minimum, demoted to a lesser position.

I hear you, but I seem to recall after 9/11 patriot or patriot 2 set up a 100 mile zone that allowed law enforcement to check your legal status etc... AKA vast majority of US population

https://www.aclu.org/know-your-rights/border-zone

Map of the U.S. showing the 100 mile border zone

Are immigration officials allowed to stop people in places wholly inside the U.S.?

U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the federal agency tasked with patrolling the U.S. border and areas that function like a border, claims a territorial reach much larger than you might imagine. A federal law says that, without a warrant, CBP can board vehicles and vessels and search for people without immigration documentation “within a reasonable distance from any external boundary of the United States.” These “external boundaries” include international land borders but also the entire U.S. coastline.

Again, it gives Fox some kind of credibility and they have none, as proven in a court of law.  Kamala shouldn't give them the opportunity.  But here we are again, running out the clock.

Nobody thought the Russians would be as incompetent as they were or that they had lost so much institutional knowledge over the past decade or two..

there were many who failed to predict even the invasion

If they hadn't fought the Russians off at the airfield near Kyiv and the Russian military hadn't pawned all its good tires for vodka it probably would've ended about that quickly.

Trump wanted to use the military on BLM protestors and Milley told him no. That's not going to happen in Trump 2.0 with sycophants doing whatever he wants. The only people that might stand in the way is the members of the military refusing orders but we all know that's not supposed to happen and even if it does there will be plenty who do follow orders.

Do you want a transcript of his statement? Cuz all I’m finding is FoxNews sources. And context of a sentence like that would be pretty important.
