Through four games should be leading through 5. Very short sample size. He underwhelmed through his first two seasons until the tail end of his second season. Yes, I’d rather have, in no particular order, Goff, Gibbs, Montgomery, Sewell and St. Brown. LaPorta is the 6th but I’d rather have Hutch since we have Ferguson.

His pass rush win rate / pressure percentage numbers were always right up there with Watt / Garrett / Parsons types, since I believe the end of his rookie year. Sack numbers just started coming in this year.

Sewell is probably the best T in the league not named Trent Williams, but you could make an argument. He's the only guy you could say is better than Hutch without really having to stretch the case.

This is a huge loss for the Lions because Hutchinson was the only organic pass rush they had, except from sometimes McNeil from the DT position.

I'd say I feel bad for cowboys fans but yall keep filling up Jerry's pockets with $$$. Not sure what could be done to remove him and family from having so much influence on football operations.

I hope he hangs 500

It's not all the fans filling up his pockets. It's the corporations. Why do you think every fan base takes over 25 to 40 percent of the seats? The corporations sell the tickets they won't use.

He leads the NFL in sacks and pressures, and you think that team has 6 offensive players better than him. He was headed for an All-Pro, defensive player of the year type of season

Yeah, losing hutch sucks. He is their best player (Sewell is a close 1a). The offense works well because of how good they all are. Hutch makes the entire defense better because of how good he is.

lions went from the NFC favorite (sorry Vikings) to just another good team. I know hindsight is 20/20 but running it up because you thought you got screwed by the refs last year and then losing your MVP is some Dan Gamble shit

The only ones trying are just bc you know Jerruh will be walking into the lockerroom soon with his clown car of yes men in tow to yell at them.

if a player had any balls at all they’d look at him and say, “fuck you trade me. You the whole reason we ain’t won shit in 30 years and the whole fucking reason we can’t win now. Trade me!”

Amazing how it's hard to build a team when payroll is tied up in 3 to 4 players. So far rush has made better reads and throws than dak

And all 3 to 4 of those players are shitty or soft.

I’m not sure why, as a lifelong Cowboys fan, I take some sort of pleasure in seeing them get blown out at home. I hate it, but it’s affirming in some way. It will result in no real change, but at least the taunting from friends does t really hurt like it did in the Romo days.

Same but I don't hate it. This is what needs to happen to move on again. It won't change anything because it's all on Jerry. It may get worse since he's destroyed the ability to get any free agents that could be decent. No one is pushing Jerry out, no matter how bad things get. He answers to no one because the fans won't make the money dry up. So it's just bring in the next former head coach to see if he can squeeze anything out of Dak and Ceedee. If only losses like this took years off Jerry's life because that's honestly the only way this gets better outside of a miraculous head coaching hire that makes everything work. But who wants to work for Jerry but a retread?

Part of being a great owner is making a big brand and a profit and having fabulous facilities. Check that box.

the other part is hiring a real GM to manage the actual team bc the owner is delulu and can’t get it done as a GM. We have 30 years of receipts. He cannot get it done. And he will never admit it. Never. Game. Set. match. Thanks for still paying for the shit show, fans. It’s like allowing a drunk to drive a car.

yeah I was very invested during the Romo era.  but now with dak, he’s so unlikeable that I enjoy seeing him fail.

Jerry seems very similar to Al Davis.  Early on Davis was innovative having his team throw the ball deep and was very successful but over years became an anchor to winning championships.
