If Trump was ready to give up the sanctions so he can have something to brag about then why did Putin blow everything up?

Trump thought it was an easy deal. He has his eyes on a big Moscow trump hotel prize along with Putin stopping the war but Putin found it more beneficial to frustrate him. Putin's goal is to keep the US basically frozen so he can destroy as much of UKR as possible.

According to Politico, Finnish President Alexander Stubb and/or NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte are set to accompany Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Washington on Monday for his meeting with U.S. President Donald J. Trump, as European leaders are worried that Trump may not show Zelensky the same “hospitality” he showed to Russian President Vladimir Putin during their meeting in Alaska on Friday. Officials are concerned of another “ambush” against Zelensky by Trump and other senior official if he refuses to agree to certain concessions, similar to the horrible display seen at the White House back in March. The idea is that Stubb or Rutte, who both have become close with President Trump since January, can help prevent any flare-ups between him and Zelensky, while pushing to included Europe in further talks regarding Ukraine.

So why did they cancel everything?

I'd guess because there was nothing to talk about. Putin wasn't willing to give anything and he knows Trump isn't going to do anything about it.

Trump requiring these Airmen to roll out the Red Carpet for a war criminal who started a war in Ukraine & abducted 20,000 Ukrainian kids (among other war crimes).

Putin should have been arrested & imprisoned to be tried in international court just like Slobodan Milosevic.

And Milosevic has alot in common with Putin, Trump, Kim Jong Un, and Orban.

Here's the fun part: They are sending another 800 from SC, OH, and WV and they are going to give them guns.

It's basically Mogadishu here.  I mean the walk across the street from my apartment to the farmer's market in SW yesterday was a bit steamy.  Not sure how I would have gotten heirloom tomatoes and stone fruit without a bunch of weekend warriors standing around.

So after the inevitable incident happens when some guardsmen gun down some protesters, who is going to write and perform this generations Ohio?

Will anyone care to?
