Rage, rage, against the dying of the light

We are ready in Chicago.  Obviously not happy about any of this but we are definitely organizing and fighting vs crying.

Bring manufacturing back to America!

Wait, you mean we need them to help build the plant?

People actually available and qualified to build complex plants in the US:

Who our leadership wants to build complex plants in the US:

Result: ain't shit gonna get built.

But Cletus will surely end up collecting 100% "disability" after "working" about half a shift.

“We’re going to do more worksite enforcement operations,” [Tom Homan] said. “These companies that hire illegal aliens, they undercut their competition that’s paying U.S. citizen salaries.

The Georgia plant is home to South Korean companies Hyundai and LG Energy Solution, which are building a battery manufacturing plant together. The $7.6 billion Hyundai plant employs more than 1,200 people. The company began building its manufacturing plant in 2022 and started making electric vehicles less than two years later, making the plant one of the largest economic developments in the state.

Gee, I wonder what US company making electric vehicles might benefit from knee-capping Hyundai.

Reminds me of my short time at Samsung Austin Semiconductor when Fab 2 was getting up and running.  Koreans companies definitely would rather have their own people working on site.  At least in the supervisor role to oversee everything.
