  • Too bad about the woman that was shot by Ice in Minn. I guess she considered herself a "Sovereign Citizen" and had no need to obey the lawful orders given to her... Hey, y'all remember the black woman

  • Flexing your ability to travel to a country you aren’t a citizen of to take advantage of their healthcare services while bitching about immigrants abusing the system is certainly something

I woke up this morning angrier about this than yesterday. Doesn't help to see Vance continue to double down on this all being Renee Good's fault.

Also, I don't think Dems should call ICE a terrorist organization. I think they should talk about abolishing it. No more name calling, promise action.

Same, I'm on the verge of tears. I'm so mad thinking about centrist Dems losing their minds that activists calling for ICE to be abolished would hurt their electoral changes.

I haven't been this upset that I can recall. To have this happen, to a mother of three who just dropped her kid off (same age as my kid) and then have this happen, and then to have the admin COMPLETELY lie and gaslight the public and blame the woman is beyond me. I can't deal with this any more, but we're stuck. No easy way to move overseas.

I just sent a group chat to my family members (parents and grandparents mostly... obviously...) telling them to defend their vote in front of the family. Fucking OWN it.

Seeing this shit makes it much, MUCH easier to understand how people have become radicalized against America in other parts of the world where we just indiscriminately kill people, collateral damage be damned.

This feels like a line in the sand moment, more than any other. And I think it's a combination of things. Like, "If you still support this administration, while it is threatening to annex various countries, while it is actively covering up child rape, and while it is calling murdered Americans domestic terrorists.... well you are irredeemable."

How can she follow them around all day if the incident took place at 9:30 AM?

by this evening she will have been the antifa president.

To be fair, our administration runs on Moscow time, so it had been all day.

The only part I'd change is the "you are" in your conclusion - "our country is" is how I'd change it.

I so want to believe that if the head of the snake dies, the whole movement dies. But this moment, ALL of these moments of the last 9 years showcase a side of America that wasn't born of this MAGA movement, it was just given a voice. It has always been there. And it will be there when he finally dies. Maybe quieter, but still there just waiting for their next opportunity.

If I had a dollar for every line in the sand Trump crossed and his base didn't change I'd have enough money to buy my own election.

I’ve quiet quit my MAGA family and former friends. Well, it wasn’t entirely quiet. But it wasn’t scorched earth, either.

I’m considering reaching out to a bunch of extended family and basically telling them: if you still support this guy, you are a Nazi, you can fuck off, you have lost all of my respect, and you are out of my life.

Yeah, it doesn't. Too many people think this is just a cult of personality, and when the leader dies, the cult dies. No, this is a cabal that has been playing the long game for at least 30 years. And I keep trying to tell people that this isn't the end game. It's the middle.

Trump's death will end a chapter, but there will be another, and the Vance chapter could be even worse.

America was just a sales pitch the whole time. This country has always been about white imperialism. It had some setbacks in the 20th Century, but since about 1995 they've successfully used Fox News to put the band back together, they're taking back their birthright, and they're going on a world tour.

It's a signal to the rest of them to go and do likewise.

Why Minneapolis? Those pussies should come back to LA and get their ass handed to them again

I was just wondering what we’d be hearing right now if that video showed zero car movement. Just the agent walking up to the car, reaching inside, and shooting her three times. I guarantee you they would all have talking points like “before the video started the woman threatened the ICE officer. He was scared for his life so he shot her in self defense.” 100%.

Broadview, Ill. police and Chicago police gave lots of testimony in the Chicago guard deployment case that a) the situation was under control without federal agents or guard b) federal agents and guard often exacerbated any situation and c) that ICE agents were often the first aggressors in multiple situations.

After video evidence, they were the most convincing that ICE was lying its collective ass off.

Outstanding. That's great to hear. Thanks!

As I posted earlier on another board, to someone lumping these asshats in with real, professional law enforcement officers ... "Please don't lump real law enforcement (or even real ICE agents prior to this admin) in with these guys. Of course there are bad cops, and I've had problems with shitty cops myself, but there are also many good ones. Even with all of the stains real cops have on their collective image, the current ICE would have to improve massively to get to their collective level of competence and professionalism. I've been thinking for months that many police officers must be absolutely sickened by what they're seeing from these untrained, unprofessional, amateuristic ICE thugs. "

Seems like many of them are, and I think we'll be hearing more about it from them .

Where the correct answer in these instances is the boring boilerplate "we are conducting a thorough investigation and cannot comment at this time"

That they are so strongly defending this agent means this is part of the fucking plan. That shooter just walking away remorselessly is a tell as it's the administration's all-in over the top sorry for him.

It's fucking tragic.

I've been back and forth with my parents, who are the only Trump-supporting friends or family that I routinely communicate with, for basically the last year. It appeared that at least my mother recognized her mistake, but as is so often the case with these people, they start backtracking and making excuses.

After hearing my dad argue how Maduro liberated Venezuela for the people, I didn't give them the chance to argue for the ICE agent's actions in this case. I basically told them "This administration is making my life miserable, and will make your grandchildren's lives miserable too if something doesn't change. Not to mention the people being kidnapped and shot in the face by government agents. The government you voted for is continuously lying to you about their evil deeds. Do better."

I'm pretty much to the point where if they can't commit to doing everything in their power to unseat this administration I do not need to see them anymore, and neither do my kids. You still don't see how Trump's presidency is negatively affecting you personally? Well grow old without being a part of your grandchildren's lives. How about that?

‘Absolute Disgrace!’ Irate JD Vance Loses It on the Media...

Vice President JD Vance dressed down the media on Thursday over its coverage of the shooting of a Minneapolis woman by an ICE officer.

Couch Fucker says: I’ll take some questions, but I want to make just one final observation here. When I was actually walking out here, somebody sent me a photo of a CNN headline about what happened in Minneapolis. And this is the headline, I’m just going to read it: “Outrage after ICE officer kills U.S. citizen in Minneapolis.” Well, that’s one way to put it, and that is the way that many people in the corporate media have put this attack over the last 24 hours. And I say attack very, very intentionally because this was an attack on federal law enforcement; this was an attack on law and order; this was an attack on the American people.

The way that the media, by and large, has reported this story has been an absolute disgrace and it puts our law enforcement officers at risk every single day! What that headline leaves out is the fact that that very ICE officer nearly had his life ended, dragged by a car six months ago, 33 stitches in his leg. So you think maybe he’s a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him with an automobile? What that headline leaves out is that that woman was there to interfere with a legitimate law enforcement operation in the United States of America. What that headline leaves out is that woman is part of a broader left-wing network to attack, to dox, to assault, and to make it impossible for our ICE officers to do their job.

If the media wants to tell the truth, they ought to tell the truth that a group of left-wing radicals have been working tirelessly, sometimes using domestic terror techniques, to try to make impossible for the president of the United States to do what the American people elected him to do, which is enforce our immigration laws. The president stands with ICE, I stand with ICE, we stand with all of our law enforcement officers. And part of that is recognizing that you people in the media, not everybody in this room, but many people in this room have been lying about this attack. She was trying to ram this guy with her car, he shot back, he defended himself. He’s already been seriously wounded in law enforcement operations before, and everybody who’s been repeating the lie that this is some innocent woman who was out for a drive in Minneapolis when a law enforcement officer shot at her, you should be ashamed of yourselves! Every single one of you.

Fuck you to eternity, Couch Fucker.

Getting at least 25% of the country to agree to not show up to work the same day is not possible imo, at least without things getting to Great Depression levels of bad. This country doesn't have the same history of class consciousness as say France.

With so many Americans living paycheck to paycheck, and with health insurance likely tied to employment, a general strike is a reach. At some point you have act on principle though, consequences be damned. If not now, when?

I'm not unfriending people - I'm challenging them, but only a bit - overwhelm them and they shut down and run off/unfriend you/whatever. I'm not talking about the victim with them (you won't change their minds if they've made them up about her).

I'm pushing back in two ways - one, I've told multiple people that Trump said the agent was run over and in the hospital, and I've provided links showing that he wasn't run over and that he was walking around for a long time after, giving orders, talking to other agents, etc. and I'm simply asking "Either Donald Trump lied or somebody lied to Donald Trump, why do you think this lie is being pushed on national TV when the videos show otherwise?"

The other thing that I'm quietly pushing is that for most of the 90s and 2000s, Rush Limbaugh warned about the liberals turning us into a Big Government "papers please" police state where federal agents can just randomly stop and ask people to prove who they were, and here we are where federal agents are randomly stopping people across the US, going into public spaces, and doing the "papers please" thing all the while masked up so you can't ID them, etc., I ask these people if they are okay with what Rush Limbaugh warned about, since it turned out to not be the liberals pushing this, but Republicans.

Am I changing minds? By keeping it simple and focused on a single point or two, I am talking to them about it. If I were to bust out everything that is happening around this, the whole big picture of why this is happening, that we are distracted from Epstein and various other things, that there is definitely a white-supremacist angle (and if you bring that up with a white relative, they feel like you are accusing them of being white supremacists so that conversation ends/devolves), these people are going to get you lost in the details.

But if you zero in on a few small things that are hard to deny - the cop was not run over, Trump claimed he was, and that we have federal agents across the US in a "papers please" Big Government capacity, you can engage them and at least make them uncomfortable.
