Guys..Guys..we are ALL-IN this year. Don't ask why we were not ALL-In last year. But this year, we are surely ALL-IN. We were predicting a national championship run last year but you see, we were not ALL-IN and so a dogshit OL and their coach is to be overlooked. The difference this year, however, is that we are ALL-IN, because this is Arch Manning's last year and that is special. We may be outbid for a player or two by Louisvilles and Baylors and Indianas of the world but have solace in the fact the we are ALL-IN and AGGRESSIVE. How AGGRESSVE? I don't know. But the vibe in that building is ALL-IN.

I’m aggressive all in your mom

Nakos, mostly nothing but here you go

Auburn WR Cam Coleman

Sources tell On3 that Cam Coleman is currently on the Texas A&M campus and wrapping up his visits. More trips are scheduled to Texas Tech and USC. There is confidence in multiple camps that they can offer the best opportunity for Coleman. Money is not going to be the deciding factor in this recruitment, even though sources have said his deal could be in the $2 million range.
Florida EDGE Jayden Woods

Coming off a Texas visit, sources have told On3 that Florida is working to bring Woods back into the fold. The Gators held a Zoom call with his camp on Sunday night, and head coach Jon Sumrall could potentially take a trip to meet with him in person.
Wisconsin LB Christian Alliegro

Sources tell On3 that Alliegro is set to visit Texas in the near future.

Given the lack of all-in, I'm starting to think we should hire Sherrone Moore as special O-line assistant to Flood so our chances are boosted with the Michigan guys. Too bad Aaron Hernandez is unavailable, as he would be a decent TE coach and help with the Florida players.

At the moment, feels like we are going to land for the most part our defensive targets and offense is going to be a roller coaster.

Just like we like it.

Anyone can buy a billboard in Times Square. All you need is more money than sense and a pathologically desperate need for people to take you seriously.

Can we have billionaire donors with more money than sense?

Watched all of this. He doesn't have a lot of lower-the-shoulder power to his game at all. He also lacks the long speed of Isaac Brown.

He has good initial burst/acceleration, great shiftiness to avoid tacklers, and excellent patience/vision. Also a good receiver out of the backfield.

Looks like a solid all-around back and definitely an upgrade from Wisner.

All Texas needs is a good initial burst and acceleration. That gets you positive yardage and moves the chains. Occasionally, the plays go like you draw. them up, and you get the long TD's.

Yes, it would be a bonus to get high end 100M speed, but that should not be attribute #7.

How many of those players they signed were the best at their position? Indiana isn’t going after the Cam Coleman’s or trying to entice a Jayden Baugh into the portal. They’ve signed a few very good players - but none of those guys are top players being chased by multiple top teams.

This. Texas needs quality players. We might need a high end WR. It is also possible 1 of our 5* WR actually plays like a 5* WR.

Most importantly he has an elite trait: to make the first defender who is going to hit him in the backfield after the O-line whiffs miss. That'll play at Texas.

The staff not knowing what "all in" means in consistent with them not knowing what "all gas no breaks" means either.

This pisses me off more than Tom Herman's antics. Get a big lead, control the game, put the offense in a box, play prevent defense that folds like a cheap tent, and squeak out a one possession game. Those style points, or lack there of, is the difference between being in the playoffs and watching them.

How about we at least try "All Gas, No brakes!" Go full throttle, get a big lead, feather in the younger guys with the experienced guys, and let our high end recruits see the field and get some game experience.

Any quality skill position player is probably gone in 3 years whether he red shirts or not. Redshirting a WR thinking he needs, or will be here, for 5 years is way beyond ignorant.

Hummer is reporting that Coleman is done with his aggie visit and heading home. He may or may not take visits to USC and Tech, but at the moment, the momentum is with him choosing between Texas and A&M and being done with it. Of course the aggie posters on 247 believe that they're the big winners in this one.

Know who else was All In?? Jerry Jones. And with the regular season over, you can see.....ah, shit.......

According to this board we didn’t want Cam Coleman anyway. Hell, they said Brown wasn’t good enough So we should be okay with whatever happens

Times Square is about as polar opposite as you can get from Lubbock. Not sure who Tech thinks they are flexing too but I'm sure most of the people who actually saw that shit have no idea where the fuck Tech is and would have no fucking interest in suffering 4 years of juco there.

Parker signing with ou for $800k.. That's a lot of money for a #3 WR at best here

Recruiting and development are much less important than winning the portal. This was last years portal rankings. Texas had obvious holes and only finished in the 20s.

Damn you're right we should try to be more like LSU

Coleman got the Sark/Arch pitch with the full Austin treatment. The money is there to get him to the ballpark he’s looking for. Not much else we can do.

If he wants to go full mercenary and is willing to play in Lubbock then Campbell will not be outbid in a situation where he can flex on both us and a&m. That goose egg in the playoff can’t be helping them out though. I am optimistic.

Times square is full of tourists wearing passport lanyards and Nike Air Monarchs. People who live there avoid it and those who think billboards there matter are people who live in places like Lubbock.

So international tourist know where Lubbock is and would love to spend 4 years of juco after visiting?

Good for him

I guess so. He's going to an FSU team that was 2-10 and 5-7 in the last two seasons (trending up, I guess?). Hope he's at least getting his asking price.

I wonder if got anywhere near the reported $1M that he was asking for. Good for him if he did. Bad for FSU for being dipshits.

Hate the way he bailed on the team, but good landing spot for him.

Good ad placement for the hordes of slack jawed SEC yokels waddling around Times Square

Did he get assurances that John Mateer won't be the starting QB in 2026?

Tech supposedly signed the QB for $5M. Last year they were successful in selling ($$$$) the front 7 to all commit together.

Maybe they are going to tell Coleman they are going to fork out $10M to buy the best QB and offensive weapons they can from the portal.

They're exactly the kind of people that visit New York, never leave Times Square because the subway scares them and Uber confuses them, then come back home and tell all their friends it's the worst place they've ever been.

Know someone up there.. Said Texas offer was $400k.. They matched Indiana offer of 800k.. Official announcement is coming

  • Popular Post

I want nothing but the best for former players that leave. Unless they chose to go to OU.

I don't really give much of a shit about Coleman's decision either way so long as he makes it quickly. There are still some excellent options out there at WR but they are going to come off the board very quickly. A few of the guys I'd have liked us to heavily pursue already have (Marsh was likely always landing with Indiana but he would have thrived here).

If true, that’s great news. Decent player, kept us afloat in the receiver room for a couple weeks early but not an $800K player. Seems to be a questionable use of valuable resources.

They dumb if true

Parker had a higher completion % in 2025 than Mateer did. Of course, he also had a better receiver to throw to.

We're going to overpay regardless, might as well overpay more.

Well, "we" is doing a lot of work in that sentence because I ain't paying for anything at all.

So basically Lubbock is advertising to the people of Lubbock. Maybe Amarillo.
