Noticed you had no mention of recently passed tax cuts and exploding deficits in your moronic screed. And I’m not sure what the point of your but Obama is but your post is too stupid to bother with analysis.

I want a balanced budget, tax cuts and reduced spending and 24 hour blowjobs for all! And no I’m not a dipshit!

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-state-taxes/u-s-state-local-tax-revenue-up-5-8-percent-in-first-quarter-census-idUSKBN1JF2Y2

CHICAGO (Reuters) - U.S. state and local government tax revenue climbed to $350.2 billion in the first quarter of 2018, a rise of 5.8 percent compared with the same time period in 2017, the U.S. Census Bureau reported on Tuesday.

It's NOT a TAX issue...it's a SPENDING issue.

Lower taxes are still bringing in MORE revenue.  It's better to have 10% of a bigger pie than 100% of a small one.

Obama added MORE to the US Debt than all former Presidents combined.  But we don't talk about that....right?

I want basic services.  Defense, Law Enforcement, Foreign Policy... that's it.

I don't want free HC or college...because they're NOT FREE!  Nor are they worth a shit. I don't want perfectly healthy people sitting at home watching Oprah all day.

If you really feel like you owe people that...get our YOUR checkbook and make it happen.

Don't tell me how generous you are with my tax dollars...tell me how generous you are with YOUR money.  And if you wouldn't give your personal money to support those types of behavior...GFY.

Do you realize changes in federal tax rates/collections are not reflected by state/local tax rates/collections? The long-term trend in the balance of federal, state, and local taxes is that the latter two increase rates in order to make up for cuts at the top while required spending remains the same. It's called "unfunded mandates" and we see it all over the state in local property taxes increase to make up for federal and state spending decreases, which causes an undue burden to be placed on municipal/county and ISD/community colleges to maintain the same or somewhat adequate levels of service. This has long been the shell game of federal and state-level Republican politics: "See, we lowered taxes!" while locals pols are forced to clean up the mess.

A. Economic growth increases the entire tax base.

B. I'm aware of unfunded mandates...but they're not always about tax cuts.  Sometimes they're about mandating things they don't want to enact themselves.

C. There is so much Gov waste on all levels that it's insane.  You're not going to convince me to pay additional taxes until you admit there are endless changes made.

Tax revenue virtually always goes up when the economy is growing, and all indications are that receipts would be rising faster if it weren’t for the new tax law. Receipts from corporate income taxes — the main focus of the tax act — are actually down $62 billion, or 28 percent, over the same period in the previous fiscal year, while this fiscal year’s increase in overall tax revenue substantially trails that of recent years during which the economy was growing at a similar speed. (For reference, real GDP grew 3.2 percent in fiscal 2014, 2.4 percent in fiscal 2015, 1.5 percent in fiscal 2016 and 2.3 percent in fiscal 2017, and Bloomberg Economics forecasts that it will grow 2.8 percent in fiscal 2018. 2 )

Pelosi is so toxic. They did the same thing to O'Connor in Ohio when he was caught saying something nice about her. She's a helluva fundraiser for the party but new leadership is needed.

Cruz's tweet is stupid since Beto will be in the Senate not the House and is already on record saying he would not vote for Pelosi.

Yep, have gotten two calls.  It's interesting how much of a machine Beto has put together in such a short time - he's really been able to harness the youngsters in a way that I haven't seen since...I don't want to say Obama, but that's how it feels.

My understanding is that some senior Obama 2012 people from Texas have joined his campaign. Like the Obama campaign, it looks as thought Beto’s org is purpose-built for him, from the ground up, and is more or less operating outside of the TDP. Which is really good for him.

Cruz has to bring in other villains for Texans to hate.  Guarantee he will label Beto a pawn of pelosi, Schumer and the new socialist rep from nyc.   Might work with enough Texans.

Fun fact: Cambridge Analytica was working Iowa for Cruz.

I don't get why Cruz and Trump are getting a pass on CA, when it is conspiring with foreigners using stolen facebook data to defraud an election.

Because they run the government.

The UK investigation into the Cambridge Analytica operation was what we should have done in the United States but the people in power want to keep their weapon so that didn’t happen.

Totally anecdotal but I’m hearing about people who are canvassing red areas in person and by phone encountering self-described Trump supporters who plan to vote for Beto because they think Ted Cruz is a “pussy.”

Obviously there won’t be a many of those, but in a single digit race, everything counts.

That’s why I think the Beto v beta theme has some value.

It also happens to be true. Cruz is a little bitch.

You’re an obvious troll. That or you’re a mouthbreathing moron. It doesn’t matter which. I’m not gonna debate such complete and obvious ignorance.

Saw a work pickup (toolbox, dualies) with a Beto window sticker today. Also saw my 4th or 5th Beto sign go up in Blanco.

Jesus his campaign is terrible so far. Beto needs to put out a clever pro whataburger tweet immediately

Also, you can twist that saying Whataburger uses USDA choice beef and he supports American farmers. Unlike the present Trump administration whom Cruz has supported.

The copy is so easy to write.

Gosh...hopefully Cruz doesn't get blown out like Abbott got blow out by abortion Barbie in the last Governor race.

😂.

Seriously, I want all of you hard leftists here to get some therapy scheduled for November.  I see a lot of you having a hard time reconciling reality with your expectations.

Most of us think Cruz will probably win by a few points.

Most of us thought NU would beat Texas in 1996.

That's why we play the games, bitch.

Oh, and if the rest of your analysis in life is as sound as your breakdown of our tax and deficit scoreboard as of late, remind me to never rely on you for....anything.
