I'm not sure why everyone is bagging on arch. I don't think PEYTON Manning would be successful behind this absolute dog shit, abortion of an OL.

He wouldn't.... But he would have hit the side open throws.

I'm not gonna say I want the backup, but I want to set someone get the ball out when the route is open.

In 1988 on our way to 4-7, we had to come from behind to beat North Texas State at home with 45 seconds remaining in the game.  But, yeah, tonight was not fun.

And the refs probably bailed us out on the 4th down TD at the end.

Did you watch the game? Arch missed 7 or 8 wide open receivers from a clean pocket.

Then a 4 game losing streak.
Yay

I dunno man MSU put 21 on Florida tonight matching our production.

We struggled with Kentucky and lost to Florida. No game is a given. None.

We're going to squander a good to great defense on this shit show of an offense Sark has built.  It's his offense, since he's designated himself that position, so the blame is solely his.

I’ve defended him a lot this season, but he was bad tonight. He didn’t get any help, but there were more than a few open receivers he missed tonight.

He didn't get any help because he didn't throw any catchable balls for the majority of the game. Manning is the #1 problem with this offense. He just doesn't have it mentally or fundamentally.

He performed... poorly.

Better than UTEP, though.

So you didn’t watch him throw when he had open guys and time?

Not sure I would agree that 24 points against Auburn and Michigan is “hasn’t had any issue scoring points.”  If Arkansas puts 24 up on us I’m not sure we can match that.

Everyone on the offense seems like they are waiting on somebody else to light a spark. Tentative. At least the D has some attitude and urgency in their play.

It's the o-line, and it's Arch's terrible mechanics.

Lol, its the fucking Head Coach, his shitty game plan, his horrible off season practice habits, his shitty offensive player development and his shitty staff.

On the other hand, they'll probably console themselves with how they took Texas down to the wire

he is missing wide open receivers with time.  sometimes the OL is protecting and he holds the ball too long.  The OL is not good but neither is Arch.  It is an absolute shitshow.

With a good OL Arch could be serviceable.  it is his 3rd year in the program and you can tell he just doesn't process the game fast enough.

Have you seen Arkansas defense? They’re garbage. If Texas doesn’t score at 24, then sark and arch are even worse than we’ve been saying.

Yeah that was terrible.   Sark somehow killed the running game while Arch neutered the passing game.  W is W but that was abysmal.   How do we not have a hit route vs any of their blitzes?

Because Arch misses or won’t throw to any of the immediate reads that Sark schemes for him.  Then he’s running for his life. It’s a team effort of futility.

Old ugly is better than old nothin'.

Niblett and Shipley, thank you.

Mark Stoops, thank you for going for it on the goal line.

I honestly don't know how you don't just run up the middle three times in OT when you only need a FG to win.

I don't give a shit how popular he is in the locker room, there needs to be an true open competition at the QB position. If Lacey is the best guy in the room, then he needs to be the starter moving forward.

I dont think anyone thinks Lacey's ready.  The choice is Arch or Caldwell.

I still believe food poisoning can sneak up and affect an entire team on any given week, so there’s still hope against cowbell

You don’t produce this type of ineptness and flatulence due to just one issue. This offense is an absolute disaster from start to finish.

1. our OC has the worst possible scheme and play calling possible given the talent

2. the talent at QB, OL, and WR is completely underperforming and it’s a combination of lack of development and lack of execution by the players.

3. the recruiting is off in the OL.

4. There is a cultural issue. This team is always slow out of the gate, slow to perform, and always plays down to its opponents level.

None of this is likely to get fixed imo.

We squandered maybe the best defense we've ever had last year with multiple NFL offensive players.

We agree on who is to blame, just not the length/depth of blame.

Yeah, at this point, and six games in, it's becoming clear that Arch is a problem all by himself.

No, the O is dogshit. The RRR wasn’t impressive either.

It wasn't impressive, but it wasn't complete dogshit either. Measurable strides were made by the offense against a legit OU defense. This game was several steps backwards.

LOL Arch is the most pressured QB in college football. His coach is responsible for his development. We ran for 44 fucking yards against Kentucky.

Stop blaming the players.

Yeah we are just bad. You are who you are by game 6. We are really just out to fuck up other people's season now.

The defense and PK are the whole team right now. And people are gonna tag on Arch - who did not have a good game - but the OL and playcalling were fucking atrocious. Just an absolute disaster from Flood and Sark. Not sure what Manning’s can do with that.

Not sure Sark can call any play with that abortion of an O-line. At this point I would break out the I formation, see if these guys can run that.
