I mean- you are probably wrong. We’d have 3 quality wins and no bad losses. Might want the one loss the be to Georgia. It’s probably 2 out of 3 we get in at 9-3.

Florida loss is pending.

The Mosley no-call allowed the comeback to happen.  First down there and Texas keeps running clock and gets a fg or td in all likelihood.  I expected things to get hairy in the secondary when Jelani went out.  You lose your two best safeties and there are going to be problems.

This

this is what people are missing

also the play call was fucking dumb. Run the ball and kick the fg sark

He was so concerned about the fucking football board meeting his apparent post-count quota in the midst of a football game that he felt it necessary to admonish and lecture the community because we weren't giving him enough clicks, I guess.

What board meeting?

9-3 will mean beating ou, vandy, and either Georgia or aggy.  I think it may get us in the mix, but it depends on what other teams do going forward, including ou and vandy.

It will not. We’d have to make sec championship game and win with 3 losses

It’s possible but I don’t see it there’s going to be a number of two loss teams I’d imagine to file out the twelve and will a conf runner up have 3 losses ? Not sure Texas is one of the top 3 loss teams at 9-3. Maybe. I don’t think so.

They might be overrated, but not massively overrated. I think they are one of the four best teams in the SEC.

Serious question: What does this mean? Someone not familiar with what you're talking about would assume that Georgia got their asses kicked in Austin last year.

Why single that call out? There were a multitude of calls that kept them in the game.

That's the absolute with the camera right in their fucking faces and they apparently think not reaching the pylon means they scored. They're morons.

What the fuck does that even mean? The team is going to be so mad they came into Austin and won they’re going to play extra hard?

Glorious ending in the rain. What a day! What a memory. A visual feast. Thank God we held on. Vandy's a little crushed right now. We on the other hand would be devastated losing at home after that big lead. So the hunt continues. Let's go bludgeon us some Bulldogs, Razorbacks and Aggies...

Whole lot of denial stage in here after today’s nuclear meltdown. Just accept it, Sarkisian will never win shit here. He’s a mediocre coach that is not fit to lead this program just as much as Tom Herman wasn’t.

Do us all a favor and walk into traffic.

No bad losses?  Florida?

One score loss at Florida who is an obviously talented team isn’t on par with the worst loss most 2 and 3 loss teams we will be competing with will have.
for example- Florida is up on Georgia right now and absolutely looks like they belong on the same field with them athletically.

the computers gave them like the 25th best team in the country. Anyone who thinks that’s some total embarrassment is a waterhead.

That 2 point coversion kept them in the game.

As did a bunch of no calls on Vandy perpetually holding that sustained several drives and permitted explosive plays that should have been erased. Likewise, the phantom holding call against Shannon Sharp, the BS call against Filsaime due to Pavia hugging him out of bounds, or ... I could go on, but I'll stop there.

Seems like we saw a run or two to the right side where there were no defenders, and the plays worked spectacularly well. Seems like we shoulda seen that called at least a couple of more times. That last drive before the punt looked like a lay-down, play for the FG by Sark. Slow runs up the middle. Really shit calls just asking to hand that game over to Vandy. No gas, all ass.

Have to see the rest of the field, but it's very possible 3-loss would be in the playoffs.  You are essentially punishing the non-conf OSU-Texas game if not.

Exactly. Want to kill all premier non conference games?  Leave Texas out at 9-3 when they lost by 1 score at the #1 team in the country when 10-2 Texas that played Oregon state instead of Ohio state would be comfortably in. It’s dumb. They want big games in non conference games

You are likely correct, of course.  But there’s a lot of football left to play, including Texas getting to 9-3 to see if any 3 reg season loss teams have a chance this year.

The problem is that our next loss knocks us out of the SEC race and also out of the top 25. There would need to be an unimaginable amount of chaos to get us back in to a 12 team playoff.

also out of the top 25

Depends how far we jump after today and if we lose at Georgia or to a top 5 aggy. Neither of those would drop us out of the top 25

Any word on how long McDonald is out for?

In the post-game they were speculating concussion, so he should be able to go in two weeks.

Also, Sark said in PC that he thinks Wingo will be good to go.

#9, #10, and either #14 or #18 teams lose.  If we had any semblance of a killer instinct our win would have been about a 14 point victory over #9, and we would most likely be ranked about #12-14 come tomorrow night.  Instead we eke out a 3 point victory and end up about #17 at the highest, imo.

This team is only going to the playoffs one way, we win all three games remaining.

The one really positive thing about this weekend is the players are going into the bye week and they will not be told how great they are for two weeks.  Nobody is getting a big head in Austin this week.

Also, Texas Tech-#13-  is most likely going to lose also.  This was the biggest wasted possibility in a long time.

This is some bitch made asswater. Enjoy the win you fucking loser

1.  We kicked their ass

2.  The refs did them favors, and did not do us favors

3.  Coach K retreated into the "Prevent Victory" defense

For point 3, Sark in his capacity as HC should have called a timeout and reamed his DC about playing prevent and letting them march down the field.

The confluence of two and three made it closer than it was.  On to Georgia.

All you can do is sit back and laugh at how two people can be so miserable when we win. I love it for them.

Imagine being that much a miserable bastard that you can't just live with a win like this in the SEC against a team most people thought we would lose to. Arch was great. The OL was great. Defense got 6 sacks. Sure the secondary sucks but we won and have room to improve. The way the offense played today can beat anyone left on our schedule.

Has nothing to do with that and everything to do with officials clearly point shaving. That's the shit that, if you don't nip it in the bud, costs you games.

Florida is leading Georgia, to narrow down the conf contenders.

Texas played 3 quarters of great football and got the win.

I had a delicious picanha. My kid is sleeping peacefully.

It's a great day, why are ya'll bickering.

We have two top 10 wins this season.

A bit frustrating that if you took out that one disaster in Gainesville we would be #5-8 in the first playoff ranking.

Beat em both, still ranked behind them.
