Yeah, that's the part I really don't understand.  He definitely did not deserve to be fired.  I know Sark had initially planned to hire Muschamp for his first DC, but it fell through because his family didn't want to move.

Did PK do something illegal or not get along with Sark? He was without question more successful than Sark as a coordinator the past 3 years.

There is no clear logic that I can come up with regarding this choice. I just hope PK doesn't end up in the SEC and he WILL get offers.

HUH??? Just about the only consistent thing they had the last couple of years was the defense bailing out Sark and co when the offense went to sleep. What happened??

Wow.  Glad to see PK gone.  Although I would have guessed it was for a HC job.

He was really good at fucking up a lot of teams, but OU and Aggie were his strongest.

PK was the source of the Sark rumors.  (I'm kidding and just totally making shit up)

PK is Nicole's source. In return, PK is safe on Rainey Street at night.

Being DC the entire time here probably made things stale. We needed some fresh blood in coaching. Wish that one of these moves were on offensive side too but it ain’t over yet I’m sure.

Maybe, but why announce it as a firing?

Ready for Burton to give us the scoop that it was a mutual decision in contrast to all evidence saying otherwise.

I like the hire. Muschamp is always been successful as a DC so hope he still has it and brings a lot of that fire he has on the sideline.

I have no problem with the hire. It's the change that is baffling.

My hope is that Flood has not been let go yet because Sark wants to make sure his buddy has a soft landing spot.

Please give me the sunshine reason it’s good that PK is gone because the defense was leagues better than our offense this year. Also, our defense was on the field 75% of the game in many cases because of our offense stubbing their toe over and over.

The USC rumor comes up every offseason, but maybe it is true this time.

He's a Sooner, smart guy. That's why he's happy.

Happy to have Muschamp back on the 40, but this is so crazy to me. PK’s conservatism pissed me off at times, but our offense has been a way bigger issue than our defense in important games under Sark for the most part. Flood, Milwee, and Chris Jackson should all be on fucking notice.

I love Muschamp and all, but I would love an explanation on how this a remotely sensical move to FIRE PK. over what ?

I’d also love a commitment to not recruiting linebackers too short to ride all of the coasters at six flags.

We need a new OC, OL, WR and RB coach as well as a new GM and our best, most consistent part of the team under Sark's tenure just got cut. There isn't any way to spit shit this when Muschamp has been announced as PK's replacement.
