FIF accuracy.

Not true, but there do appear to be logistic issues with Francis C. Hammond Middle School Library (Alexandria, VA) as well as the larger party room at iFly (Cincinnati, OH).  It's fairly likely Trump National Doral gets the nod simply because it is better equipped to handle that # of dignitaries, their staffs, and security details.  What can he do?

It's like they didn't even CONSIDER pricing out the conference room at the Drury Inn in Mobile, AL.  That's just sloppy management on their part, that's what that is.

The cop in question posted that on a facebook post from the blog "tatersgonnatate", that posted of meme of AOC quoting her as saying "we pay soldiers too much". The only problem is, AOC never said that. Shocking, I know. As much as those right-wingers hate "fake news" they sure do consume a lot of it.

Well, stupid is pretty much a chronic condition with no known cure.

She didn't say anything about racism. Why? Because she's smarter than the talking heads and the regular politicians. It's a low bar, but she sails over it.

She sticks to what is absolutely undeniable.  Trump did attack elected officials in a way that could intimidate opposition. He does act like an authoritarian at the very least when he declares enemies of the state and derogates anyone who doesn't cheer his every move.

That what he said is likely racist is not the most important element of Trump's actions. Stop biting at that and sink your teeth into what is right there in black and white; he's intent on beating down his opposition by whatever means possible.

His every move is anti-democratic and anti-American. The racism is a means to power and is most important in that context. The danger he poses to the republic as he becomes more "authoritarian" is the point where the political knife should go in.

Sadly, here in Idiot World, we've spent 12 years "educating" citizens who can't name both their senators, can't find the US on a globe, and only have the most cursory knowledge of what America is supposed to be.

AOC is excellent at staying on point and maintaining control of her feelings. It shows in this tweet and in her questioning of the head of Homeland Security the other day.

But she's a wild-eyed radical socialist! At least she is in Idiot World.

He absolutely wants to kill 10 million people.  Actually about 4x that.  But the fact CA is a state makes it difficult.

He doesn't understand that they're actual human beings. What percentage of that is due to their being brown vs. his narcissism and lack of understanding that anyone but him actually is a person I don't know.

Been following the protests in Puerto Rico and I gotta say, it's kind of inspiring to see this level of activism. People caring they are being led  by a corrupt person. But also a little disheartening. We would never see this kind of turnout in the states. We can get texts saying all the same things or even videos and the Republicans would still be excusing his behavior and 40% of the US would still support Trump. Too many people have chosen party over country here in the states.

white people have it so bad.

Dimwitted and uneducated white people actually do struggle.  But it’s not because a Salvadoran refugee crossed the border or an Indian got that nice tech job.  It’s because dimwitted and uneducated white people are fucking dimwitted and uneducated.

/csb A friend of mine from HS moved there recently and has been FB posting about the protests.  He's been right there with them.  Curious to see how this will all shake out.  Given the widespread corruption and general incompetence it's devastating to see how they cannot seem to function.  Something significant needs to be done, because the island's local government seems incapable of self-governing.

Those protests were political statements, a massive sustained protest over a long period of time with demands is an uprising.

The problem with our protests is we’re not committed to them over time.

Not the same. One time events. You think if a video came out of Trump shooting a man in the head, we would have protests, of that size, demanding he resign? Nope. Maybe if he got caught with/participating in kiddie porn. Maybe then the evangelicals would turn on him. Maybe.

Look folks, I don’t give a shit about your political ideology.  You can be a moderate/centrist or a libtard commie fuckstick, EVERYONE needs to stand up against this shit.

The United States aligned with fucking Stalin to defeat fascism.  Sometimes things go beyond your policy platforms and you just need to do the right thing.  This isn’t about right vs left anymore.  This is about right vs wrong.

We can work out our ideological differences after we tar and feather these assholes.

Metaphorically speaking of course, or not.

We should be able to do this, but we have 60 million plus people who are gutless cowards who refuse to stand up to this racist, fascist piece of shit.

Our country's defining characteristic is its diversity. I was talking to a man this morning from Holland and he said the thing about America, New York City in particular, that impresses him the most is our diversity when it comes to the blending of cultures. He said he sees this back in Amsterdam, but nothing like America. We have a plethora of issues in race relations and how people of color are still treated here so do not think I view us as a model society without any faults. We have plenty.

The rest of the world though still looks at us as a model of how we can be from different backgrounds, but still find common ground and come together as a society. We are failing in that endeavor right now and it is just sad to see. Again we have millions of our fellow Americans willingly allowing us to attempt to go back in time to the "good old days" when whites ran the country and everyone else did what they were told. We cannot allow that to happen. We just can't.

There you libtards go again calling everything racist.  Where is Tump referring to race in that statement?  He just says blacks.  Maybe he is talking about black cars or black dogs or black hamsters.  Only a TRUE racist would assume he is talking about race when he says “blacks”.

And even if he is talking about black people...black is a color NOT a race!  Lots of different “races” are black.

And even if black is a race, show me one published paper written in 2019 by someone with a last name starting with ‘X’ that PROVES that trump hurt anyone by referring to blacks as lazy.

Thanks for the free rent.

By the way. Good news for the thread, you can keep it going at least six more years. Lots to look forward to. This place will be a riot when Trump wins.
