People who say there's "no score" when the score is 0-0 in a sports game.  Not sure why this mildly annoys me, but it does.    No, there *is* a score -- the score just happens to be 0-0.  Yeah, I understand that "no score" is considered shorthand for "there has been no scoring yet," but I still grit my teeth a little when I hear it.  Don't ask me why, because it truly is "trivial."

Same thing with “getting untracked.”  If a train gets off the tracks, it’s a disaster. The team/individual needs to get ON track.

I hate when a team fails to convert on 3rd down and the guy says, "They're forced to punt". No they aren't forced to punt, they can go for it every fucking time.

If you're going to give me tickets to an event, throw in parking as well.

Great: Free suite tickets to see Post Malone at SoFi.

Not so great: Pay $70 for off-site parking.

I used to host my company’s suite 3-4 times a year at the Texans and Astros. Rockets too for a while. Suite tickets always come with 2-3 parking passes. Only the A-listers get the parking passes.

What's the score?

Nothing nothing.

Who's winning?

The Bears.

I am disturbed at this thread. People are saying bless you for coughs? “Get untracked” like it is a good thing?

Are you all mingling too much with the deltas and epsilons?

They just called and I got an extra ticket for my wife. I don't feel so bad about paying $70 now.

I agree with the frustration, but if you're right there, stop it with :01?

I say “Vade domum, aegrotas.”   Sounds cool but means “go home, you’re sick” in Latin.

Our company just sent out a recent survey.  We had a major reorg in April 2024 with a completely new senior team, so......  The leading questions of the survey greatly narrowed down on who the respondent is.  To recognize me it would be obvious due to department, position, gender, and years of service.  So......

It’s much worse when people say the lower number of the score first.

“We lost the game 31-34.”

WTF?!

The beeper on our air fryer was so obnoxious I performed an electrical surgery and removed it.

No, it doesn't.  That is wrong in every possible verbal score delivery.

Every score listing has the home team second. Astros AT Rangers. Etc.

Written, yes.  Not verbal.  Only people with zero clue about sports in general say it like that.  Your great aunt Gladys might describe her grandchild's baseball team losing like that because her grandchild's team score is more important to her.  Still wrong.

My company has a suite at SoFi so that’s what I thought we would get… the attendants kept pointing towards the cheap seats and I thought there must be a terrible misunderstanding.

Then I saw my coworker and it sank in that I would be sitting with the unwashed masses that night.

Try logging into Mint mobile to check something on my daughter’s number. Took me 4-5 minutes of going in circles with the chatbot before I it finally let me talk to a human.

That's not unusual... Even when you lead them a bit, they're so erratic that it'll take a few shots to put one down.

You're not late because of the clock...

Yeah, I then looked at my phone and confirmed the clock was wrong. I typically unplug the motherfuckers any way.

Cheap ass windshields they put in when it has to be replaced. Just replaced mine less than a month ago and it has a new crack so has to be replaced again. These days just a tiny pebble hitting it will crack it. Pisses me off

OK, I kind of see your point but if they say ‘we are scoreless at halftime’ you’re OK with that, right?
