He is wearing a toupee to cover the severe burn scars all over his head.
He was shot down while piloting his helicopter in Vietnam in 1968. It caught on fire, burning off his nose, ears, hair, and his forearm that he was holding over his eyes (saving his eyesight).
He spent two years recovering through many surgeries at the Brook Army Hospital burn unit in San Antonio, with many months lying face down.
Then many months more with his good arm strapped up by his head while a strip of flesh was attached to grow him a new nose.
In spite of the severity of his wounds, he recovered well enough to remain in the Army, becoming a helicopter battalion commander and eventually retiring as a lieutenant colonel.
Along the way he married a beautiful Army nurse, adopted a child who grew up & graduated A&M, becoming a nurse herself.
Unfortunately his wife passed away a decade ago from an aneurysm.
Their daughter got married and recently made him a proud grandfather who enjoys making the infant smile by singing military cadence songs (clean ones) to him.

He is a true BAMF

He and Mrs. Brat were a steady couple from their high school senior year until they broke up their last year in college.
We are all good friends to this day.

Why wear a wig when he can wear the fact he’s a BAMF?

He didn’t while he was still in the Army.
He does wear it in civilian retirement so as not to frighten the squeamish.

Someone can say for sure, but wasn't Elko's second season at Duke worse than year one?  Didn't they lose to Virginia?

Think about it….aggy went to Duke, seriously…Duke….well known for their history of winning football championships!  Sure…and proceeded to steal their coach….Duke!   What does aggy expect from a former Duke head football coach?    Elko probably peaked there, and going to aggy was a mistake for both….but….you know…..it’s what aggy does….and that’s ok.

The aggy “magical” 10 win-Johnny season included two FCS wins.  Somehow that fact gets overlooked as time has passed, but I’m here to remind aggy.

Hook’em!!!

Let’s use a baseball analogy….when you strike out with an AD, strike out with a head coach, then your odds of getting a hit with this team is highly unlikely…..ballgame!

When The Elk was at Duke he had to win with one goat players. At aggy, most of his players are three goats. Advantage aggy.

God the 2A Ball shit never fails to make me fucking laugh. They're on a fucking sports message board, that claims to have fans of college football and recruiting, and yet they've never been willing to admit that both other famous mannings, NFL hall of Famers, went to the exact same 2A fucking HS.

"2A HS player, he'll never be successful." Gosh if only there was any kind of historical litmus test we could look at for college football players with the last name Manning, from LA, and who went to a very specific 2A High School and how they fared at the College, and then NFL level. If only.

Terry Bussey Timpson enrollment while he was there was 219, they praise him.

Arch Manning Isidor Newman enrollment while he was there was 389, they hate him.

Quarterback Brady Hart, who helped lead the Cocoa High School football team to its third straight state title, has been named the 2024 Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Football following a final round of voting by a statewide panel of high school football coaches and media representatives.

Hart, who was previously selected as the Class 2A Player of the Year, completed 265-of-360 passes for 4,360 yards and 40 touchdowns with eight interceptions.

He was a junior during the 2024 season but reclassified into the 2025 recruiting cycle. He signed with Texas A&M University in December and has enrolled at the school for the upcoming semester.

Not to mention, if they even bother to bring up his actual college experience-which he has- they ignore msu and ulm where he played the entire game and jump to look how bad he was in his 5 plays against Georgia!

Didn’t Patrick Mahommes go to a small HS outside of the Tyler area?  Whitehouse or similar school in size?  Didn’t have an effect on his NFL career.

Hook’em!!!
