For the love of god could the fire marshall clear the fucking concourses?  They are narrow af, and having 10k camped out on stairs and along every wall and railing make them super narrow,  and impossible to navigate.

They need to turn off the in-game Tvs so less people loiter or better yet tell people to a) look at weather report b) understand you are sitting in the world's largest jiffy pop pan so if you cant handle that dont buy tickets.

"But I didnt think it would be That Hot" Then leave the stadium and go to - I dont know, maybe The State Fair of Texas - with 100s of buildings and places to see the game, with AC.

The concourse is not a fucking camp ground

OU sucks

All the mobile beer sales need to get out of the concourses. Put them in the aisles or have them wait until kick off, but the space is tight enough without adding in that.

Attended three Texas-OU games with last being in 1984 that ended in a tie.  Because the 50-50 fan base split there is no other game like it and bucket list game to attend withstanding shitty stadium conditions.

On the upper west side the renovations really helped this.   So much more room now.   Where we were was the best for in game beer sales easily.   Never a wait longer than a couple of minutes and enough open space that they weren't in the way.

I never showed my ticket to get into the fair or the stadium. I literally held up my phone with the screen dark and was waived in.
This was only my second one since 2009 and it definitely seemed less rowdy than 20 years ago. I assume that has to do with pricing out a lot of people with $200 tickets. Still amazing and I thought the upper deck might collapse during the punt return.

This year, my tickets were never scanned to enter fairgrounds. Last year, I waited an hour to get into game and my tickets were not scanned. The Cotton Bowl improvements were inconsequential. Long bathroom lines, long concession lines for terrible offerings, etc.  I did find cold beer but had to search several different coolers. It was much easier to get in the game, though, and that by itself will keep me coming back (I almost stopped after last year). I was asked for my tickets to reenter game in 2nd half.

Wasn’t able to make it this year but did anyone have trouble with squatters in your seats, that shit drives me insane especially when they argue with you or try the ol’ someone is in my seat. No they’re not, you don’t have a ticket, and if they are tell them to move. I almost got in a physical altercation because of this shit and questioned whether it was worth it to come back. Fuck it, hopefully I’ll be there next year, I promised my daughter.

Yall make sure and pass along your comments to our AD. They’ll meet with the City for after-action review. CDC will do what he can to make sure things are improved.

Some of you need to change your own routines to help yourself. You can’t help when you have to go to the restroom, but you can buy multiple bottles/cans of whatever before the game.

And I agree that people loitering in the concourse or the aisles or jamming into sections makes other people’s lives hell. At the top of my section, a guy kept making people sitting in the aisles leave. Stadium staff did almost nothing to handle the issue because they didn’t want to get pushback.

No CR, but we need more aggressive cops and rent-a-cops to facilitate crowd control at the game because it’s getting fucking ridiculous. We’re past COVID, people have no shame now. People aren’t gonna fucking move unless some aggressive power tripping cop makes them get out of other people’s fucking seats. Same goes for keeping the aisles clear too. We have lost all social norms and common courtesy. People aren’t going to move and get out of the way unless they are told to move their fat asses because they are in other people’s seats and/or creating a fire hazard.

I think the easiest way to fix a lot that's wrong with the cotton bowl is to have a walkway inside the bowl like outside on the 2nd level so people can just move to their seats from any section. Its a big part of what makes most stadiums work.

Last year, some guy sitting my seats explained that someone was in his seats two rows down, and then shrugged his shoulders. I told him that's not my fucking problem and move. He was younger and had some amount of shame and moved. I thought it was ridiculous at the time and had no idea this stunt is not uncommon. I wish they had spent some remodel money on a way to funnel people straight to the upper deck if that's where their seats are to try to control the hordes in the lower level concourse.

I know a lot of people having that same problem. Just bring a big cross. Hold it out in front of you. Scream “Get behind thee Satan” and pull out a vial with holy water. Show it to them. Say “Demon be gone.” If they haven’t hauled ass from their seat they ain’t moving so go find security.

Yes. I had seats 17-20 but was thinking it was 15-18. Someone showed up that had 15-16 so I looked and saw our tickets were 17-20 and there were people in 19-20. I told them they were in our seats and needed to move. The lady moved immediately but the man stayed in 20. I asked if he was going to move and got a smarmy yes sir. My daughter could see I was about to start a fight and got between us, sat in 19 then every time we’d stand up/sit down would move over a few inches and eventually had our seat back.

Some dude was in my moms seats which were one row up and 6 seats from us. She had been in her seats and they bullied this 5'2 66 year old woman out of her seats. I showed them the tickets and they gtfo real quick shamefully.

At the NIN concert in Houston I watched two people move seats 5 times around me to open seats, they fucked my row of people moving around like 3 times.  You bought nose bleed seats go sit in them.

I have to say, I called the AD’s office last year and complained about the issue. CDC called me back personally while I was driving somewhere. It was blue toothed to my radio and my kids were very impressed, they’d have never believed me if they hadn’t heard it. We talked for about 5 minutes and he told me he’d do what he could at the upcoming meetings but we’re kind of at the mercy of workers who are underpaid and apathetic at best. My suggestion was to at least have people who were solely in charge of removing squatters.

The majority of squatters I saw yesterday up in section 108 were students. I was fine with the two smoking hot chicks that clearly were not supposed to be there and the guys that had tickets for those seats just played dumb because they were not about to ask two smoking hot chicks that were 100% gonna bang them later(especially after 8 white claws and beers and a Texas win) so the pissed off blue hair said “I going to find the usher” and they finally conceded and the girls walked off.

same thing happened last year and they were students doing the same. I’m 47 and idgaf anymore and will wag my finger at them too.

I mean while it’s cool he called you back actually that’s shit below him that he can’t stop.  People are going to try to move seats. It happens.  The one guy making $12 a hour working your section can’t stop everyone.
