I'm not even sure they're the premier football program in all of Bryan-College Station

Good point, both A&M Consolidated and College Station High, are pretty good.  They have better marching bands, too.

They also have state titles in 91 and 2010, respectively.

I definitely call horseshit. 18-21 hours of 'A' for any normal student would be extremely impressive. 24 hours, at 2 different institutions, while playing a college sport? Momma is making shit up about her little angel.

Maybe she meant 24 hours in a single year?

Did he delete the original post?

Yep!  Someone pulled receipts on this like three days ago, and after a few hours of getting called out, Jermaine deleted the post.  Was glorious in the replies.

If it happens (aggy becoming the premier program in college football), it won’t be during his tenure or during our lifetime.

I feel bad for sure, but maybe avoid a program that certainly pissed off a Very powerful Bruja.

But, did he rip off his tie and stomp on it ala Bear Bryant back in the heady "Junction Boys" day?

Those gomers would eat that up, too.

At least Cam brought Blinn a national title.

Blinn is in Brenham, not Bryan/College Station.  It's owned by the people of Washington County.  They play their home games in Brenham ISD's stadium.  The Blinn in Bryan is a satellite campus and only exists because Brazos County is too cheap to build their own community college.  They had a private juco for a while, but that went bust.  Blinn stepped in to fill the gap temporarily while Brazos County was supposed to develop their own, but they never did.  Blinn was fine with it because they charge everyone on that campus "out of county" tuition and get more money from the state because they could count those students in enrollment.  So in short, no, aggyland cannot count any of the Blinn NCs or Scam Newton as their own.

They can’t count most of the ones they already have. You think something like that would stop them?

I was curious, so I looked.

In-district is defined as resides, owning property, or paying taxes in Washington County for 6 months.

Per semester in-district tuition for full-time Blinn attendance: $960.  Out of district: $1845.  Out of state: $4185.  The Texas A&M engineering academy at Blinn-Brenham has an additional cost.

By comparison, Austin Community college is $1275, $4290, and $5295, respectively.  ACC district spans 7 counties - and also has an aTm engineering academy path.

Is it true A&M has a higher acceptance rate than ACC?

Don't know, but keep in mind the acceptance rate has to be high enough to capture those candidates willing to stick their entire arm up a cow's rectum.

ACC has a 100% acceptance rate, if I recall correctly.

If aTm is accepting people who do not apply, then "yes"

The difference is that ACC is one of the best community colleges in the country.

This is true.  It benefits from the high educational level of Austin.  Moreover, they explicitly plan to educate the community for the local businesses, etc.
