Getting stabbed 15 times to death is not that horrible. Getting stabbed to death over an argument of which came first, chicken or egg, probably is.

Man in Indonesia stabs another man to death over debate on whether chicken or egg came first

Stabbed the victim 15 times

The two men did not know each other before meeting at a drinking spot, AKP La Ode Arsangka, Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Muna Police, told Kumparan.

As they drank, they began joking and exchanging riddles, including the classic debate over whether the chicken or the egg came first.

However, the perpetrator got emotional and left the gathering to get a sharp weapon at home.

When he returned, DR then brutally stabbed Kadir Markus 15 times, Kompas reported.

Taking trash to dumpster, need gun to protect himself from trashcan pandas.

Something about this doesn't sound quite right.

https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2024/08/06/man-taking-trash-to-dumpster-with-gun-slips-shoots-and-kills-self-accidentally-police-say/

SAN ANTONIO – A man taking his trash to an apartment dumpster was shot and killed after he slipped while walking and the gun he was carrying went off accidentally, according to San Antonio police.

Officers were called just before 6 a.m. to the 12400 block of Starcrest Drive, not far from Jones Maltsberger Road after receiving word of a person wounded.

According to police, a man in his 50s or 60s was walking to a nearby dumpster while carrying both his trash and a gun. That’s when, police say, the man slipped in a wet area and somehow the gun went off, wounding him the chest.

Police said the man, however, continued to walk down the hill to the dumpster where he was later found. He was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, where he later died.

SAPD said investigators found a gun near the trash bags.

Jared James Dicus butchered his newlywed bride Anggy just months after they were apparently happily married in Magnolia, Texas last year. He was sentenced to only 40 years?

Due to the aggravated nature of the offense, prosecutors said Dicus is not eligible for parole until 2043 at the earliest.

“Waller County does not tolerate domestic violence," Waller County Criminal District Attorney Sean Whittmore said in a statement. "Heinous crimes like this one will not go unanswered, we will seek justice for the victims of domestic violence and send a message to the perpetrators that here, we fight for our victims."

Parole eligible in 20 years. DA prancing like he got three death penalties. Weak ass judge.

A woman died Thursday morning at Chicago O'Hare International Airport after getting caught in a baggage carousel, officials told ABC News.

The woman, who has not yet been publicly identified, was 57, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The woman was a member of the public and not a worker at the airport, according to a spokesperson for the Department of Labor.

Emergency responders were called to Terminal 5 at about 7:45 a.m. Thursday following reports of a woman "pinned in machinery," the Chicago Fire Department said.

Upon arriving to the scene, they found the woman "entangled in the conveyer belt system used to move baggage," fire officials said.

Medics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Police said surveillance footage of the area showed the woman "entering an unoccupied restricted area at 2:27 a.m."

She was discovered at approximately 7:30 a.m., police said, and emergency responders were called to the scene.

The area has been declared a crime scene, and the Chicago Police Department is investigating.

An errant weight thrown by a competitor struck and killed a spectator at a youth track and field meet in Colorado, according to officials at the university where the competition was held.

The hammer -- a heavy ball on a chain -- in the hammer throw event cleared certified barriers before striking the man Sunday morning at the University of Colorado's Colorado Springs campus, according to a university statement.

Firefighters pronounced the man dead at the scene. He apparently had tried to shield his wife and son from the ball, KRDO-TV reported.

He was the father of a competitor for the Colorado United Track Club that hosted the event for high school-age athletes from around the state, according to the station.

Authorities also did not identify the athlete who threw the hammer.

"We are heartbroken at this horrible accident and are focused on supporting all involved," campus chancellor Jennifer Sobanet said in a statement.

The weight used in the hammer throw event weighs 16 pounds for men and 9 pounds for women in adult competition, according to World Athletics, the international track and field governing body.

Fatal accidents at track and field competitions are rare. A hammer killed a student at a college meet at Wheaton College in Illinois in 2017.

A shot put struck and killed an official during practice at the U.S. track and field championships in Los Angeles in 2005.

Slightly differnt, but still similar.... my friend's dad was 3rd base coach at his kid's game, and he took a line drive to the head.  He died.  On the field.  In front of everyone.

I keep a composition book in my locker at work. I jot down notes or blurbs with the date and basic info from interesting calls I go on. Senior guy when I first hired in told me I should do it.

12+years now and I’m on my third book. I write about as well as old people fuck, but I have high hope that it will outsell Kramer’s coffee table book of coffee tables. Some of the entries would put this thread to shame.

More people should wear helmets.  You could assassinate a lot of baseball coaches, particular 3rd base coaches, during the game in front of a crowd with a line drive to the head, and nobody could prove you did it on purpose.

I think if you could target a man’s head with a line drive hit hard enough to kill him then you could probably  make more money playing baseball than as a professional hitman

Learn to speak English properly, GRUhorn. It's now *our* official national language. You might perceive that as a trivial grammatical error, but that would be an incorrect assumption. No, it's an assault on our glorious mother tongue.

Continue to insult or debase it in such a manner, and you will face consequences.

horrible way to die or wtf is wrong with you Eastland?

Man Dies in Tragic Bee Attack While Mowing Lawn

May 20, 2025 by David Jones

A tragic incident unfolded in Eastland, Texas, when a man was fatally attacked by a swarm of bees while mowing a lawn near an abandoned building in Friendship Park on April 27. The victim, identified as Stephen Daniel, inadvertently disturbed a hive, leading to the deadly assault by the insects.

In a desperate bid to escape, Daniel jumped into his truck, but the bees pursued him, continuing their attack inside the vehicle. The situation escalated when Daniel, overwhelmed by the bees, lost control of his truck and crashed into a neighboring property owned by Chrishae Cooper.

Cooper, who witnessed the incident, immediately dialed 911. She recounted seeing something swarming around Daniel’s truck before it veered off the road and onto her property. The police arrived on the scene to find Daniel still under attack by the bees.

The responding officers quickly evacuated Daniel from the area and placed him in a police vehicle to protect him from further stings. Despite their efforts, Daniel became unresponsive while waiting for an ambulance. Emergency medical personnel administered life-saving measures and rushed him to Eastland Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately, Daniel succumbed to the effects of the bee stings.

The cause of death was reported as circulatory collapse, a condition that can occur as a result of severe allergic reactions, including those caused by bee stings. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers posed by bees, wasps, and hornets. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, these insects are responsible for an average of 72 fatalities in the United States each year.

Sure those were bees and not something else? I can’t remember if it’s hornets or yellow jackets that live under ground, but they don’t play.

African bees are aggressive as hell and can follow you for up to a mile (says our bee guy)

the first time i mowed at my current house i got attacked by a swarm of bees. they were living in a rotted out stump that had been cut to ground level. luckily they weren't the killer bees, but i still got stung in the face a bunch of times.
