Government regulations prevent anything resembling a free market in health care. It's really not that hard to conceptually fix the system, you just can't dig out from the entrenched interests and their lobby power.

You seem to have negative understanding of health care systems and economics. And I never seen that you want to regulate lobbying, which would require [checks notes] government legislation and regulation.

He just can’t stop watching all of the shows he wants canceled.

I remember in the first term when it was a big deal that the commander in chief seemingly just sat around the White House and watched tv all day. Now it’s just accepted.

He should bring his wife and have her bat her eyes at him a little. He’ll melt like butter.

“You’re hittin’ that? How come she’s not in a burka? Is your other wife at home?”

”Sir, let me fill you in on some truths about me and my plans for our beloved NYC.”

He listens intently and no need to hide his tiny mushroom boner.

The next 10 months are going to be interesting as hell, as he fixates on polls and Epstein stuff.

I'm souping up the pith engine, so I'll be making some snappy posts on Surly that will surely turn the tide!!!!

It’s 11+ months until midterms and 3+ years until the next presidential election.  This is not bad for Democrats but the risk of the trough of Trump’s approval coming too soon is very real.  It boggles my mind that after how the last decade has gone there is anyone left who is willingly stating “oh yea this is it, Trump’s finished.”  That fucking piece of excrement isn’t finished until he’s all the way under the ground and his grave is soaked with my urine.  And even then there will need to be a lot of care to make sure the remaining roaches don’t start a new infestation.

Fuentes and the groypers make up a huge chunk of the votes Trump got in 2024. If things continue on this trajectory they are going to want to challenge Israel supporting MAGAs with America First candidates. They are likely to be violent if/when elections don't happen

I'd love for you to quantify that. What is a "huge chunk" of votes. Because as much as people talk about the Manosphere, and Bros, young males, etc., Nick Fuentes is wildly influential but the amount of people who actual Groypers isn't that huge. His Rumble Channel has 500k followers. The problem is that he influences other influencers.

Either way, I doubt Groypers were a huge chunk of Trump Votes. Best case, 500k across 50 states.

Tell me, are you advocating that we start a foreign war on Nigerian soil to protect Christian Slaughter?

1. Thank goodness they have an economics writer to explain all of this complicated shit to us because...

2. It's shattering to learn that the Donald, king of crisis management and stable genius, may at last face one for which he is ill-suited!

That's a really good deep-dive article that people should read.  Thanks for sharing.

If anyone is unaware, AP is one of the straight-arrow sources that doesn't flinch or pull punches.

Highly recommended.

They might actually realize that, in addition to horrendous self-dealing. the law enforcement practice of obtaining call records of suspects and witnesses is so routine that this would create a huge litigation burden from a huge number of people.

If you picked up the Founding Fathers in a time machine and brought them to present day, it would take about 5 minutes of deliberation for them to tar & feather and string up Trump.

And that's only because they'd spend 4.5 of those minutes drinking dry multiple casks of whiskey and rum to fortify themselves for the task at hand.

Dudes could really put it away back then.

Fuck off. Slavery was deplorable and murderous and cruel. It doesn't have to be a footnote to every mention of the Founding Fathers.

I would love for George Washington to stride into the Oval Office.

Hey man, serious question here. When you embedded the video, but before you hit "submit reply," did you think to yourself "I wonder how people will respond to a video from a guy who looks like this"? Did that thought occur to you?

On just one of many insane lies that Trump tells, one of my personal favorites is "America is respected again."  Dude.  We are a fucking joke.  We are accelerating our journey to bassackwards klepto-state with nukes.  And this is not the assessment of message-board posting ledge-dwellers.  It's the fucking consensus of longtime respected observers and chroniclers of such things:

Open grift and looting of the treasury by and for the regime and those it favors.  All the shit we used to shake our heads about when we'd read a story about the Republic of Crookedstan, or some Latin American dictatorship.  Now, it's happening right here at home, and the fucking MAGAts think that the fucking EXACT STUFF that makes those countries "shitholes" is currently making America....great again.
I hate these fucking morons so fucking much.

He can’t pull out of the tailspin without an assist from the courts tossing his tariffs aside and working with congress to undo much of the OBBB crap. That’s really the only way the economy improves to get him back up to 42% approval before the midterms.

I really think this dude is cooked.

The woods are places I rarely frequent.  Perfect place for the corpses of MAGAts to rot away or get picked clean by buzzards.  I would tolerate a few of them being mauled by bears before they died as they wandered around aimlessly through the woods.

Nice composition. You make think that morons isn't really enough to describe the people you describe. They're degenerates. I looked up the word to be sure it's as precise as I think it is:

Quote

A degenerate person is someone who has sunk to a lower, morally corrupt, or depraved state, characterized by low moral standards, debauchery, or socially unacceptable behavior. The term implies a decline from a former, better, or "normal" condition.

Mass degeneracy. Kinda hard to stop.
