My wife and me are actually in the last episode of the Cosby Show, haha. True story.
Her best friend worked on the show (and still works for NBC News) and cast us as extras in a college graduation scene that took place in the episode. It was a fun experience.

Why would you even ask that? That's really dumb, because that didn't even happen. I mean, that's actually funny. Roofied? No! Who told you that we were roofied? Was it @South Austin , cause he's always making up stuff that's not true in any way. I mean I don't remember. But I"m sure that's wrong, cause I was never roofied.

The TreatyOak doth protest too much, methinks

Went to various parties where Elizabeth Banks was at pre-stardom.  Any random UT bar in the late 90s had numerous better looking girls so it’s interesting to see what’s happened since mid-aughts with her.

Maybe it's because she has a personality and a modicum of talent?

I meet a guy and girl on the internet one time. He threw rocks off of overpasses on I-35. She stuck a marker up her butt then got into politics.

I once met a suspect in the string of unsolved Rainey Stree/Lady Bird Lake drownings.

Charlie Sheen's brother's ex-wife and I went to the same school together.

She may have even flirted with me when I was there (Moorpark CC).
Or not, because if she had, I would have been all over that.
But it's still possible that she flirted with me. You can't say that she didn't.

There's a good chance that she did.

And by Charlie Sheen's brother, I mean of course, Allan from 2 1/2 Men.
And she's April Bowlby.

Back in the 70's I met Bob Dever. He was Mayard T . and of course, Gilligan at a hotel I was working at while in college. While in the military in the 80's I was a roadie for Randy Travis's USO Show i Europe. My friend and I got booted though for being caught backstage singing his songs with a nasal twang. He was a real piece of work who wanted nothing to do with anyone but himself.

In 1980 I was treasurer for our FCA chapter and we had a charity event where we played the Dallas Cowboys in a basketball game. I was in charge of their transportation while they were in town. Drew Pearson, Tony Hill, Robert Newhouse and a few others. After the game took Bruce Huther to a local party……jay Saldi was an asshole!

I waited tables at the Headliners Club and I met Lady Bird Johnson and Kinky Friedman there. I also worked at the Clay Pit where I waited on Ann Richards once.

We’re going here now? I served Lady Bird multiple times at Pappasito’s and Earl and his wife once as well. Lady Bird was a regular and her SS guys were very nice.

Watched them shoot Matthew McConaughhey and Woody Harrelson's new Netflix show on Friday at our high school. Did not see them though. The scale of the production is crazy. 250 extras. Plus, the catering was some of the best I've ever tried. The brisket was truly epic.

They paid all of downtown Granger to shut down so they can film walking dead spin off there.

Nolan Ryan and his wife came into the shitty little cafe/diner I worked at in high school.  No one realized who it was except me, and I watched as he grabbed two menus himself and went to sit at an 6 top table just him and her.  I wasn't a server but used my guile and cunning (begged my server friend to let me take their drink order) to chat with him for a few seconds.  I really wanted him to put me in a headlock and pretend to punch me in the face so I could get my own photo version of what happened to Robin Ventura, but that seemed an odd request.  Can confirm he is a good tipper and not an asshole.

Attended some sales meetings in Dayton one July in mid 90s and there was a celebrity pro-am golf tournament going on at the same time. Our meetings were in the hotel that was tournament HQ so there were lots of celebs and quasi- celebs around. Several espn guys- Dan Patrick was cool but pretty impressed with himself at the same time. Rob Dibble was a complete asshole and I could tell from his splotchy purple skin he was juiced to the gills. Charles Barkley was there ( near the end of his career) and spent tons of time on the stairmaster. Stan Humphries was cool, drank a lot of beer. I rode the elevator with KC (of KC and The Sunshine Band)

Was an extra in the UT film "My All American" about Freddie Steinmark.  Got to go fanboy on Jordan Shipley on set (nobody else knew who he was) and asked him about the kickoff return to the house vs blowu in '08.  It was awesome (Chris Farley voice).  Also got yelled at by DKR in the film Aaron Eckhart for being a terrible actor.

Worked at Dennis Quaid's charity golf tournament down at Onion Creek one time at one of the tee boxes handing out gatorades.  Chopped it up with Too Tall Jones who looked like he could still play.  Heckled Jason Seahorn when he shanked his drive real bad.  Quaid was a coked up prick.  Wasn't asked back.

We're gonna need to know more about you getting yelled at Aaron Eckhart. Which scene was that?

This is why I keep coming back here.

I attempted to talk to Jenna Bush in 2001 on the way to Dallas for Tx/OU. Her sorority charter bus made the same pit stop as the group I was traveling with.

I was promptly greeted by her Secret Service detail who was even further unamused when I tried to offer them a beer.

I got Nolan’s autograph once before a local HS baseball game we played against one of his sons. I then hit a bomb off of his kid and fervently hid away the autograph deep in my bat bag for fear that he’d demand it back as an act of vengeance.  Not sure which of the kids it was, but I like to think it was the one who was later president of the Astros and eventually fired for insolence.

I’ve driven through Granger dozens of times since the 1960s and have seen more activity in downtown Frame Switch.

The one degree of separation turn we've taken here makes this a fine time to admit that I've actually known Johntay Cook since he was born.  My brother ran track with his aunt at Tech and decided to marry her.  This past year with Tay isn't a blip on the radar of shit we've gone through with them since 2003 or so.   Hoping a change of scenery does him well.

I once ate lunch at a table next to Al Pacino's at the Cafe Pontalba on Jackson Square in New Orleans.  He was very polite to the waitstaff.

I once ate dinner at a table next to Sandra Bullock at her restaurant, Bess.  She had a big table for her family and my wife and I were at a 2-top right next to it.  My slightly tipsy wife tried to take a picture of her by pretending she was taking a picture of me with Sandra's table in the background.  The staff came by and discreetly and politely asked her to knock it off.

Al Pacino’s what? Accountant? Cousin? Gardener? Barber?
