Other than the defense forcing turnovers, there was not a lot to like in that first half. SJSU is terrible. The OL can’t consistently run block, penalty issues and Arch is extremely inconsistent.

That was nothing but luck onj our part.

Defense is really solid. Jaggy and Endries are dope. Arch can't pass to Wingo if a gun here to his head and a bowling ball were about to be shoved up his asshole. Moore is doing well. McCutcheon looked good with his time,

Edit: our o-line, in four fucking years under Flood, STILL can't understand how penalties work.  It's both astonishingly stupid, yet science should study them.

Simmons is heading for a sophomore slump unless he turns it around soon. I don’t even know how to feel about this half. Happy with the TDs but dang some throws were rough. We started to run it at the end but they started to move it at the end. C+ half?

Trash!!!

Shit is concerning.

1. We aren’t running the ball well.

2. Our QB is a fucking mess.

3. Team is dumb as shit.

4. D-line is a sieve.

5. Too many holes in the secondary.

6. Punt returner is a pussy.

All this against vaunted SJSU.

We look fucking awful. If SJSU didnt have the lucky ass turnovers. It would be like 14-14 right now

Uh… most of those turnovers were created by Texas.

Questions: Does this team need emotion to maximize effort, and can they manufacture that w/o the crowd.  Arch?  Mechanics and decision-making.  We hoped he was a Ferrari out of the gate, but he’s clearly got young QB issues to work out.  WR’s?  So white (sorry, I had to 😁), but seriously, there are questions there.  Time to have a look at some of the youngsters or is Sark afraid that might affect Wingo’s confidence?  Endries?…….Like what I see.  Run blocking feels like it’s continuing to be a problem.  3rd downs need higher conversion.  Too many penalties

Is it just me, or has SJSU qb made more impressive throws than arch?

Some yes, but his WRs are also catching the ball (or in one case, not catching it but still making a ridiculous effort)

I would take Eget today over Arch. No hyperbole.

I'd take SJSU in general. I think they have a good chance to win the SEC this season.

I feel pretty confident we are going to win this game unless the SJSU coach employs the Caucasian nickel defense in the 2nd half.  5 white walk on dbs that will confuse Arch as to where he should throw the ball.

yeah, he fucking sucks

Because he was finally able to hit the guys striding wide open? He’s accuracy and decision making are dogshit right now. Maybe he gets better but his stats mean nothing against this team. We’re winning the turnover battle 4-0 through 2 quarters and only have 28 points against a bad team.

Specifically, Arch with his mechanics and decision making: mechanics can and should be fixed during the week and decision making can only really be done and experienced during games. Kids got talent and thought he could still make that throw. Now he knows to take the sack or throw it away

He really does wince in pain every time he throws. Is that just his tick or is there something wrong with his shoulder?

Definitely looks like he's playing through a shoulder injury.

He's not sidearming it as much as last week, so hopefully he's improving.  But he's definitely been caught grimacing on the replay a couple of times.  An announcing team worth a shit would have pointed it out.

We shall see. I'm still skeptical.

"What a catch he made, holding the ball with one hand against the back of Kobe Black's head, while laying out of bounds! Whaaaaat?? They ruled that incomplete???"
