The GQP: Trumpist Death Cult

Trump.  Such a great President that he re-wrote history:

Michigan Congresswoman Lisa McClain falsely claimed during a Saturday campaign rally that Osama bin Laden had been caught by the Trump administration.

"Well, President Trump was in office. We didn't have a war and I think he made three peace treaties," McClain said during her speech. "Caught Osama – Osama bin Laden and Soleimani, Al Baghdadi. And this President is weak. And I'll tell you weakness breeds aggression. We need strength."

Quote

The 2011 raid that killed bin Laden, however, was conducted during President Barack Obama's first term in office. Joe Biden was serving as vice president at the time. Trump was hosting "The Apprentice" – a reality/game show on NBC.

Quote

During her remarks, McClain also said unemployment is at a "40-year high" while there is "a labor shortage."

The current unemployment rate is 3.8%, down from a record of 14.7% during the height of the pandemic and lower than it has been for most of the last 20 years.

McClain's office did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

I'll give Congresswoman McClain credit.  I've heard a lotta credit go to Trump for a lotta shit he had nothing to do with, but killing Osama Bin Laden is a pretty fresh take.  Considering the capture/death of Bin Laden and Trump's "largest inauguration evah!" were nearly SIX years apart!  Even the stupids will stop and remember, they literally broke away from "The Apprentice" to show Obama's remarks about the operation on NBC news.

What many Americans assume is that Adm. McRaven, JSOC commander, led that Operation Neptune Spear to capture or kill Bin Laden.  But what Congressman McClain knows is that maybe he didn't.  The C.O. was Jared Kushner and Eric Trump was the one who actually shot Bin Laden.  Lotta people don't know that, but it's absolutely true.  And it wasn't called Operation Neptune Spear, Eric Trump named it Operation Uranus Smear.  Those photos you see of the situation room on the night of the raid have been doctored up by the Clintons, George Soros, and a Mister Ronan Sinatra.  The real, unedited photographs of Trump leading the raid, are on Hunter Biden's laptop.

If the space force watched it all go down in real time and documented it, you’d think they would do something about it over the following 2 months before the inauguration.  And if not then, over the next 15 months.

im also confused about the 8 on, 8 off time sequencing she refers to.  Sounds like a mandatory re-education with some very odd hours.

500,000 sealed indictments, y'all.

So...your suggestion is that we created the first new branch of the U.S. Military in 75 years and funded it with billions of dollars.  We gave them all kinds of space hardware and personnel.  Which they then used to observe in real time, the theft of a U.S. Presidential election.  And are going to indict a half million people who were in on it, including foreign nations, implement martial law, and overturn the stolen election?  That's a helluva long game when they could just release the information now or last year or in December of 2020.

Or you could have just won 1 of the 63 election fraud lawsuits you lost to your own side's judges.  Wouldn't that just be a more plausible explanation?

You can tell she came up with a lot of this herself and pieced it together with shit from conspiracy websites.   I'm looking forward to this 84 hours of continuous video coverage documenting all the fraud and the coverup.  I'm totally confident it'll be shown on legit news outlets once Space Force signs off on it as official and verified.  I'm totally confident it won't be some A/V club spliced together videos of Mike Lindell and OAN anchors just ranting and raving for hours on end.  Stopping only to wave stacked of papers at the camera with shit like, "We have the documents right there.  These are copies of the missing ballots, the money trail, a list of indictments, everything."  and they'll go on and on like that for 7 days as she said, and then the broadcast will just end.  And then Space Force will have to do the inevitable, assign some PR officers to tour the country and announce various things that Space Force IS NOT involved in to shut these people up.

"So what you do at Space Force, Major?  Gotta be pretty cool to inform the public about space vehicles, satellite observation, space station logistics."
"My C.O. is sending me to attend Mike Lindell rallies.  And I have to go on and on about how we don't endorse this, we're not involved, we have no information, this is not our branch's charge, none of these people speak for us, etc.  I transferred in because the Colonel recruited me by saying I'd be part of the first Space Force astronaut class.  I was gonna go to space.  Now I bounce back and forth between Florida and the Dallas suburbs telling the media these people are fucking insane.  Real honorable way to treat the uniform."

I mean, she got knocked up in a pickup truck.  Not judging the conception of her child, but when your life story is a fucking ABC After School Special...maybe you shouldn't be writing civil rights legislation?

I mean she combines the episodes about abstinence, being talked into sex by the school bad boy, what to do in public if someone is being inappropriate and the herd won't take a stand due to peer pressure, actual premarital sex, actual teen pregnancy, being illiterate, dropping out of school, being shamed in your small town for your life choices, finding religion, family worried about her joining an online cult, then the multi-episode arc where she bullies groups that are different from her and then tells the authority figure she was just kidding about the insults and wild accusations.

That's just off the top of my head folks.  Lauren Boebert is the complete Season 10 boxed set of "ABC After School Special."  Scott Baio does the newly released commentary on the DVD's.

Holy shit, that's one of the ones when I was thinking of when I wrote that post.  She didn't know until she was like 17 that her dad couldn't read even though he was like a factory supervisor at a big company.  And half the special is all the little tricks he and the mom came up with to hide his illiteracy like he always orders the same thing at restaurants so he doesn't have to read the menu.

We had a teacher (I wanna say 5th grade), if you watched those and then wrote like a one page summary...you'd get extra credit or longer recess or some shit.  So there was one year where I watched like 10 of 'em.

Anyway, she eventually helps her dad to read and she learns this stat that at the time, like 25% of U.S. adults were still not functionally illiterate so she encourages her dad to help the guys at work learn to read as well.  And it turns out like a third of his crew can't read.  And after they learn to read, the company announces the expansion of their division because their production has gone way up or some shit.  Yeah, that'll save your company from outsourcing your jobs to Chinese who can read AND do math.

I think of that episode when Boebert opens her mouth.  And I look back and think, "Nah, there's no way so many adults couldn't read...it was the 1980's."  And then I look at Boebert trying to make a sign that simply says, "IMPEACH BIDEN" but it comes out "IMEACH BIDEN."  And I just swell up with pride at how far our country has come

You think those specials didn't teach me the importance of reading?  Think again, motherfucker!

I learned how to roll a joint using a dollar bill from watching an after school special. Not the lesson they were intending to teach but it was a lesson learned.

Erin Moran was never in an ABC After School Special, Scott Baio was in like a half dozen.  Read a fucking book dude!

I recall seeing Erin on an episode of The Love Boat where she looked kind of sexy. Generally I thought she was pretty much a dog. I couldn’t find a video but I did find this which reminded me of why we watched that stupid show. Lots of T&A and B-List actors, or those past their prime:

And this where Erin said Scott Baio had a tiny dick:

Then get your name legally changed, you fucking dumbass.

https://newjerseyglobe.com/congress/n-j-gop-house-candidate-seeks-to-use-ballot-slogan-lets-go-brandon/

Quote

A Republican candidate for the 4th congressional district filed his bid for Congress today on a line entitled “Let’s Go Brand*n – FJB,” two variations on a not-especially-subtle code for “Fuck Joe Biden,” which may prompt a smackdown from Secretary of State Tahesha Way.

Robert Shapiro, a perennial candidate who has run for a variety of state and local offices over the years and who has set his sights this year on a primary challenge to Rep. Chris Smith (R-Manchester), submitted 203 signatures today – just barely over the 200-signature threshold and leaving him vulnerable to petition challenge.

Quote

Given Shapiro’s ballot slogan’s hinted profanity and reference to a real person, Way may choose to reject his line, a rejection which could then be appealed. State law prohibits individuals or entities who have not given express written permission from being directly named on ballot lines.

And Shapiro’s line isn’t the only one that Way could choose to reject.

Eugene Mazo is running on three different lines in the 8th district, two of which could be subject to invalidation: the “Endorsed by the New York Times” line in Hudson County and “Supported by the Governor” in Union County, both statements which are, of course, false.

Quote

Mazo is an election law professor who has sued against New Jersey’s often-confusing ballot access laws in the past, and lines – as well as his campaign itself – may be primarily meant as another challenge to those laws.

He made a similar maneuver in 2020 when he tried to run on the “Essex County Democratic Committee, Inc.” line, among others, in his bid for the 10th district despite not being supported by Essex Democrats; he was prevented from doing so, and his subsequent lawsuit was ultimately tossed out.

So I don't really know where this should go, but has anyone else noticed the right wing love of Elon Musk?  It seems like a weird juxtaposition with their environmental views.  Is it just because he's a billionaire and kind of an asshole?

He says things that piss off liberals. That’s about it.

It's because he's a right-wing billionaire.

I wouldn't say he's right wing at all.  His stated goal is to get the world off of oil dependency, at least in the transportation sector.  That flies in the face of the right wing.

Supporting the petroleum industry isn’t a necessary element of being intellectually or psychologically conservative.

He's quite all over the spectrum.  All spectrums.  He's got liberal streaks, he's got conservative streaks, he's got libertarian streaks.  And there's a whole buncha shit that we all slap-fight over that he couldn't give one flying fuck about.  He'll be adopted by either party when it suits them, and shunned by both when it suits them.  Of course he's concerned with the ecosystems of regulation, commerce, and the environment.

But if Republicans think he bought so much of Twitter to bring back "free speech", they are going to be sorely disappointed.  He did it actually, to control free speech.  Lobbying for regulatory rollbacks takes time, money, and most importantly---a lot of election cycles in a lot of places.  His twitter move was probably more expensive but it'll reduce time and effort 10x.  He can now control conversations about regulations, taxes, fossil fuels, treatment of billionaires, construction/building regulations, highways, charging stations being built by muni governments at no cost to Tesla owners, more talk of regulation rollback, space travel oversight, boring underground oversight/undersight, etc., etc., etc.  Mostly pro-business/anti-regulation, so it'll be seen as right-wing.  But it's anything but free speech, it'll hamper free speech if anything.  But MAGA nation is stupid so they'll think he's one of them.

He had already executed most of the straight buys/call options before the announcement.  He chose his timing to publicly announce his new social media presence, because of the leaked news that Trump's platform's was hemorrhaging users, executives, and app store status.  Musk is awkward but he's got a sense of humor.

"Say John, how'd you two meet?"

"At a 4-H event at the Governor's Mansion."

"John, I didn't know you did 4-H in high school."

"I don't do 4-H, I do high schoolers."

"But you're 26 years apart."

"And with your support, we'll change that law!"

can I please get off this simulation for just a little bit?  I need a breather.

Sorry, sir, this is a GQP event.....if you want to get off, you'll need an underage girl.  If you did not bring your own, one will be supplied for you.  Please check in with Congressman Gaetz over there, he has the signup sheet.
