Saban was mid at MSU when he wasn’t getting/buying the best talent. What Cignetti has done with mostly 3 star talent is absolutely incredible.

It's barely 3-star on average

Geez Oregon, at least try and make it an entertaining game in the second half.
Otherwise, I hope Indiana all-gasses it up to 100 points.

This Indiana team is relentless. Cig won’t let up the 2nd half either.

Cignetti looks amazingly young for his age. Hardly gray at all and no Ryan Day dye job.

I half expected Indiana to block the FG and run it back for a TD.

i had the same thought

Truth is, he brought his program damn near intact.

It may get interesting the further removed he gets from JMU.

There has to be a lot of lightning in a bottle here. No way it's sustainable.

you think Saban was mid at Michigan State and that's how he became head coach at LSU? amazing.

Bob Stoops never lost a game after winning the national championship.

Well, I think it's highly calculated. He's a good evaluator as is his staff, good developer also.

But he's gonna have to start dealing with NIL and the portal and prima donna players in earnest.

Oregon has been out scored 69-14 in the first half of their playoff games against Ohio State last year and Indiana this year. Damn.

Oh I think he has a dye job, just that his attention to detail won't allow for that hack dye job Ryan Day is running out.

Depends on the quarterback.

this is joyless boring football, can't wait til every team has 23 year old plays who've been at the school for 1 year

Indiana could win the Super Bowl.

They couldn’t beat the Browns.

Cignetti on the walk off interview, “We’re whipping them up front, so . . .”

Honestly, I much prefer this to politeness.

It looks like the game should be closer. Turnovers are killer and now Oregon can’t afford to try to run the ball. Meet at the quarterback.

How shitty is Tech that they couldn't score a point against Oregon? Even JMU put up 34 against these frauds.

Careful, the tortilla twats gonna get their thongs twisted.

I honestly hope that was a joke. Myles Garrett would make torture porn against this OL

Not very wrinkled or timeworn looking, which is a thing with long time HFC.

And I think part of the non-hack-dye-job is letting some gray through, which Cignetti really doesn't.

And you'd think his colorist might do something other than the crew cut, but who knows.

Back then the LSU job wasn’t anywhere close to the same level as it is considered to be today.

Curly Hallman, Jerry Dinardo say hi.

Alabama and Oregon fans thinking they had a chance and the coaches are to blame.

Cant we just pay Cignetti 15 mil a year for 8 years?

Or 20/6, maybe 30/4… whatever works for him

Big bet on IU -2.5 in the first half. This game rules. I just hope they don’t allow the backdoor cover on IU -3.5 for the game.

Mendoza is from Miami and they didn't recruit him. So they should prepare their anuses.

Saban lead MSU to their highest ranking in what almost 40 years? playing against teams that had those star recruits.

Hot take!!

Cignetti is a fucking wizard. This is the college football version of moneyball.

ole Miss HC told a story last night before the game about Sark and him going to a golf course. They were both on Saban staff at the time. They were playing hooky and clearly not supposed to be there (instead of working and I think Sark would be in his 40’s at the time) anyway they see Saban is there playing thru the trees and trying not to be seen and Sark hits a hole in one and they silently celebrate not wanting to get caught. Saban confirms the story and said he knew they were there but didn’t see Sark’s hole in one. He said another guy now a HC was better than Sark at evading him. He said that guy would call golf courses ahead of time and find out which one Saban was at and then go to another one.

Cool story Nicole but it tells me all I need to know about sark. Prep work man. Damn. So yeah I wish we had Cig and yeah I think we should all demand that Sark turn up the gas on this team and make it look like Indiana right now bc I fail to see why in year 5-6 with his staff and his players we would get skullfucked by Indiana tonite. With all our penalties and inability to run and shoddy OLine and WRs who catch seldomly. We’d get skullfucked. And we should look just like they do with the amount of money and time and support Sark has had to get this shit done. Stop fucking around like a frat boy sneaking from Saban on th golf course and grind.
