  1. He is wearing a toupee to cover the severe burn scars all over his head. He was shot down while piloting his helicopter in Vietnam in 1968. It caught on fire, burning off his nose, ears, hair, and his forearm that he was holding over his eyes (saving his eyesight). He spent two years recovering through many surgeries at the Brook Army Hospital burn unit in San Antonio, with many months lying face down. Then many months more with his good arm strapped up by his head while a strip of flesh was attached to grow him a new nose. In spite of the severity of his wounds, he recovered well enough to remain in the Army, becoming a helicopter battalion commander and eventually retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Along the way he married a beautiful Army nurse, adopted a child who grew up & graduated A&M, becoming a nurse herself. Unfortunately his wife passed away a decade ago from an aneurysm. Their daughter got married and recently made him a proud grandfather who enjoys making the infant smile by singing military cadence songs (clean ones) to him. He is a true BAMF He and Mrs. Brat were a steady couple from their high school senior year until they broke up their last year in college. We are all good friends to this day.

  5. I get that Doc, but look around you. Even with all his stupidity and flipping on and off of the tariff light switch, Fascism is taking root at Blitzkrieg speeds. The thing is, it doesn't have to be perfect to be oppressive. Dumb people can absolutely push a country into Authoritarianism. In fact, a lot of the worst in history were exactly that. Regimes with brothers and cousins running depts way above their pay grades. 6-9-25, less than 6 months from Inauguration. We have sent 100's to what is basically a death camp in another country. We are kicking in doors and raiding restaurants. We have military boots walking the streets of our largest metroplex to quiet protesters. We've imprisoned University students for protesting, and threatened to pull funding if the schools didn't "get it under control". We've threatened and pulled University funding unless those same schools didn't pull programs we don't like. We've erased part of our history because DEI, and threatened Corps for retaining any such programs. We've closed a bunch of programs at the federal level, and pulled funding for research. Even the Nazis weren't moving this fast. Right now, the Legislative Branch is silent. The Judicial is compromised at best. We are a Supreme Court ruling or two away from a full out Authoritarian regime. 6 months in. What will it look like in 12 months? 18 months? 42 months? I can tell you one thing for sure. It's not going to get better. How much worse is the question.

  6. Adding any one of Brown, Guervil, or Cleveland to go with last year's class would be pretty nice. Gerry thinks we add two more DL. EDGE seems like it'll be two of Carlton/Quinn/Wafle. Also, this guy

  8. IMG_4458.mov listening to this propaganda while realizing that half this country/most baby boomers get all of their news and world views from this garbage is infuriating. half of our country believes that mexican rapists and LA gang bangers were trying to burn down LA when ICE heroically showed up, only to be ruthlessly attacked by the violent mob. and all of our oldest, and/or dumbest, and most racist friends believe every word of it. makes me sick.

  9. Was just listening to a portion of the OTF stream - some notes: Ezavier Crowell - Alabama leads, Texas #2; announcing June 26th Malakai Lee - great visit; Texas/Michigan top 2 (didn't say order) Lamar Brown - great visit; Hayward Howard's mom and Brown's mom are good friends; Texas right there in the recruitment, with A&M; announcing July 10th; gave him lots of props, thinks he plays D-line Jamarion Carlton - Texas leads(!) Davon Benjamin - Texas right there, has a legitimate shot; has Ovs to Oregon and Wash Corey Wells - great visit, Texas/Ole Miss decision, Auburn third team, done with visits, could announce soon, Texas MAY lead Mikey Bakauskas - Texas lean until Clemson offered; if he Ovs to Clemson, ends up at Clemson Talked about how, with Berymon in the fold (zero tech), we're right there for Corey Wells, in it for Lamar Brown, so if we get one other soon, then we need to snag a couple out of the national recruitments - Kendal Guervil, Valdon Sone, Vodney Cleveland and others. 5-tech - Brice Perry-Wright, JeyRaylan McCoy (Fl lean) , Fl may try to stop McCoy and Cleveland from visiting. Just the way he was talking about it, semantically, it was sounding similar to the talk last year, re: our recruitments of Charles, Sharma, etc.. Re class ranking, thought floor was 5-6, ceiling was 1-2, provided we got to 24 commitments.

  11. I think I am going to start making up my own write-ups with a ton of negative shit about the team and players to balance out the koolaid. Not all of that shit can be true, can it? “Things are coming unhinged in the running back room. I can’t name names, but one of the backups tried to buttfuck Wisner in public in an effort to assert dominance. An unnamed transfer LB hasn’t been able to practice due to community service requirements after being found guilty this spring of acts of moral turpitude. Trey Owens has taken to mocking Steve Sarkisian’s play calls from the 2024 season during film reviews. Calling him ‘Sideways Steve’ for his view on playcalls inside the red zone, Owens is finding the likelihood of being the #2 for 2025 getting slimmer and slimmer by the day. Travis Shaw is likely to be out early in the season after suffering complications during liposuction surgery. “ Shit like that.

  18. It's interesting that for years we've heard Republicans babble about "smaller federal government" and "states' rights." And here we are, with the mayor and the governor saying that the National Guard is not wanted or needed, and it's making things worse. And still it is being shoved into the situation. I mean, this is the crowd control equivalent of a federal rape. And the Marines are getting warmed up now? For what? A thrown water bottle and some torched cars? Has anyone even been injured? Has a single Republican denounced this? Are there any Republicans who are actually small federal government conservatives anymore? Because while I may not agree with them on any issue, we fucking need them right now. This is a tipping point.

  28. This is the admin's plan, always has been. Abuse the people, violating all norms and laws. People respond as they should - by getting pissed off. Use "pissed off people" as an excuse to deploy paramilitary/Gestapo forces, and then military forces, on US soil and in US cities. Impose martial law or something that looks a whole lot like martial law. Suspend elections. Seize total and complete power. The courts will be powerless to stop it. The ballot box will no longer be available. And any resistance by the people will be much, much harder, because there will be armed troops fucking everywhere. This is not hard, folks. It's a pretty basic playbook. And they've been telegraphing/promising it for years now. We should believe them.
