Her fans are fucking vicious.  And numerous.

Not to pile on, but I think you may have missed this one from her Netflix documentary that she released [checks notes] 6 years ago.

No, she's probably not going to go tag along with ol' Joe on campaign stops, but she despises these fucks like most sane people and isn't afraid to stand behind what's important to her, money or personal safety be damned.

What she should do is promise to do a free concernt in every state that goes blue.

TS should announce a free mini-concert on the mall for Bidens inauguration if he is re-elected.  That would be 100 million additional votes right there.

So she did. I didn’t realize that. I take it back.

She definitely went hard in the paint right at Marsha Blackburn in 2018. Now Marsha is skairt and wants to answer no questions about TS. In fact here she is telling newsmax that it's sure great that Taylor is based in Nashville.

No way would the Dotard prefer France to South Florida. I would think the French are particularly offended by his embodiment of every negative stereotype of the “Ugly American.” I can’t imagine him being well received by anyone there.

Don’t assume anything. Our driver from de Gaulle to Paris during his first term gushed about Trump. France has its fair share of nationalist asshats like the rest of us.

Trump isn’t taking a cab. I know France has its share of radical right-wingers but I’m thinking about the type of people who might be in a position to wait on him and provide him services and who would be disgusted by his loud, obnoxious, conceited demeanor. I think his general poor taste and disdain for foreign culture would be particularly grating on the French. Especially when he orders a hamburger with ketchup for dinner.

We just shitcanned another driver this morning for attempting to join the border trucking convoy.  He, of course, screamed we were violating his 1st amendment rights.  His terminal manager had to remind him he was effectively operating a company leased tractor-trailer without permission and is lucky he wasn't being arrested for larceny.  Fucking amateur hour.

Funny part though is we sent fuel cards to some Swift Transportation drivers who are joining the convoy just so we can get some photos and chuckles of that name at the convoy to piss off Maga dipshits.  This is so much fucking fun.

He was an East Coast driver and mostly non-union.  But he basically attempted to take one of our master-leased trucks, without a docketed shipment, to the border to join "The Cause."  MAGA dipshits will claim we're taking away his freedoms, but yeah...no.  You can't just take one of my trucks off the clock wherever you want with no cargo and no letter of transit.  That's not how real life works.  He is seriously fucking lucky we didn't have him thrown in jail or worse, have his coworkers beat the shit outta him in front of his kids like we used to in the old days in Chicago.

Shit, I'm slammed today with school stuff 'n shit.  Can't make it down there today to the CONVOY!  But if any of y'all are on the path with a social media account, please get a pic of the Swift Transportation trucks (2 or 3) that we enabled to be down there.  It's only funny to a few of us, but it's really fucking funny.  Happy Groundhog Day, bitches!

Yeah dude, that's the joke.  I helped authorize the termination of a driver because he wanted to take a tractor-trailer, illegally, to the border.  and we, without any hint of irony, helped some Swift Transportation drivers get into the Convoy.  I mean, I'll about my higher power but it's fucking impossible we're not living in a computer simulation.  I literally had a guy believing me the other day when this convoy was announced that CF went bankrupt because it stood for 'Colored Foreigners'            You can tell these fucking people anything, it's not even fair.

just for some perspective, Blackburn won with 54.7% of the vote in 2018.  in the Tennessee governor's race in 2018, the Republican won with 59.5% of the vote.  the overall popular vote for all federal House races in Tennessee that year was 59.25% for the Rs. the overall popular vote for all state senate races in Tennessee that year was 63.2% for the Rs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_Tennessee_elections

clearly, Taylor's endorsement of Phil Bredesen - which came less than one month before the election - made a difference.  not enough to win, obviously.  as Js1 noted, JC himself couldn't win in Tennessee with his lib policies.  but she cut the gap.  if Taylor came out this summer for Biden, it would absolutely make a difference with young voters nationwide.

The only polling out there for 2024 so far is over 2 months old but it has Blackburn with a pretty commanding lead (53-36) over the Democrat running (Gloria Johnson.) Ugh.

And I'll quote Rick Wilson.

"It's cracking off a chunk of voters at a time. It's slow but it works."

I'm not expecting a sea change all at once. That would be great, but if you keep stacking little bits it starts to add up. Add young women to the voter registration rolls and keep them engaged and you might get some of those swingy districts. Might keep out some wild eyed bitch from the school board. That's what I'm thinking about. Replace the old women that reliably voted R with young, pissed off, and engaged young ones that vote D.

I honestly really really hope y'all are correct. But I'm old and cynical.

Its not the yutes that will give this election to Biden. Its the auto workers in Pennsylvania. Its the blacks in Georgia.

Probably the most unsung heroes in saving democracy are black women in Georgia, and it's not an accident, these ladies put in a lot of hard work to make it happen.  Of course other people have been involved, but that's sure been a big part of it.

If Swift mobilized 20 or 30k of otherwise non-participating voters in each of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin--  it would be massive.

The inability of MAGA and Donny not to attack Swift - in abusive, deplorable personal ways that are obviously misogynistic - would have an ancillary effect on the large non-deplorable voting demographic as well.

Every Democratic candidate could ask their opponent if they renounce the horrible attacks on Miss Swift for urging everyone to register and vote. They can’t do that. MAGA DNA and all.

We don’t need MAGA Republicans to change their ways, we need a small number of former Republican independents holding their noses just one time and voting for Biden.
