You can root for whomever you choose. But starting with Lol and spelling it "'cuz" makes you look stupid so the people who share your opinion would probably prefer you stay quiet.

Have you ever talked to a Michigan fan? They’re arrogant fucks and would be offended if you told them we are their academic and football equal. They’d look down on us. I pull for them over Ohio State but cut the crap that we are similar to them. They’re several notches higher academically and historically in football.

The implication that we're not a football school is dumb and that's what you're saying. Along with "the best we can hope for is 9-3." Your entire position is exactly as pathetic as the A&M fans who wore "just this one time" shirts when we played USC for the national championship. You're trying to glom on to TCU because they're having a good season. It's sad.

The funny thing about those shirts is that they wore “today only” shirts for the 2002 baseball team. Today only, in perpetuity.

Michigan and OSU both have one meaningful challenge in their conference schedule every year. Week after week of Northwestern, Indiana, Rutgers, and Nebraska will make you complacent.

Fair enough, but it's not like TCU ran through a gauntlet of playoff contenders.

They faced one 10-win team all year.  And they lost.

goddamn some of yall are retards

I root for TCU when they play other teams because of a fine lifelong friend who was an all SWC Frog football player in the 1920s and is in their Hall of Fame. He lettered in 2 or 3 other sports too.

I never in a million years would have thought 1) Sonny Dykes would be undefeated and in the CFP, 2} TCU would be there before us, and 3) Michigan would beat Ohio State 2 years in a row when the Fuckeyes have superior talent to both Michigan and TCU, and they're getting creampied right before our eyes.

Sonny Dykes is not undefeated.

Dykes is in the CFP but he's not undefeated

They went 1-1 against K St.

TCU played a much tougher schedule than Michigan. And it's showing.

This seems to be a sensitive subject for you. I’m a huge Texas football fan and loyal to the program, but I’ve also learned not to tether my emotions to the success or failures of our football team. It’s just a game.

My “we’re a volleyball school” comment is a reflection of my attitude to celebrate our strong points and not obsess over our struggles.

Let me put it in different terms:

TCU winning or losing does not affect Texas. We are limited only by our own problems. We have nearly unlimited resources and still struggle. To think that this game will somehow be the thing that hurts Texas is pretty damn naive.
