It’s absolutely delicious. Finished in the crockpot:

And plated with mashed potatoes and yeast rolls.

Breakfast yesterday.  Texas red leftover from Texas Independence Day, fried eggs, cheese, japs.  Didn’t bother with carbs; was perfect for the hankerin’.

The trogdor pic featured the first serving from the pot of red which admittedly shouldn’t have been served as s frito French fry wrap. Last night I returned from a four day trip on the Ky bourbon trail and felt like finishing off the red in the same way before I go clean for a few days.

is there any other way to eat tomato soup?

come on man

and if you're really wanting to take it to 11, you go with the supper flavor blasted goldfish with extra chez flavor

Along with the goldfish, I tear some of the crust off the grilled cheese sandwich and throw it in there like croutons.

Not really low brow enough for this thread but didn't know where to put it. Biscuit and gravy empanada with an over easy egg on top before the slopes. Don't know which I'm more excited for.

The verdict is that is one of the top 5 things I've ever eaten for breakfast in my life.

Low brow huh? That's what you think of these fine dishes served in this thread? Low brow? Many of these dishes have great historical significance, I consider this thread to be a thread of people reaching deep and getting back to their roots. Bringing us lost Americana, sharing the many ways chili has saved the day. How tater tots pair with anything. The finest hot sauces this great country has to offer, eating off a humble paper plate and many times giving thanks to dad and grandpa for showing us the way. Low brow? You're goddam right.

Never thought a picture of breakfast could give me a boner, yet here we are.
