I remember the giant caravan slowly moving towards our borders in the 2018 election. Did it ever get here or is this the same caravan?

I doubt she wants it - she would have to work a lot more.

Cool.  Where are the photos or satellite images of said caravan?

I don't think it ever gets here. It magically disappears, until the next one forms right before an election.

Oh, I see we’re playing the greatest hits!

By election day, it will be a 10,000 transgender illegal immigrant caravan looking to change the gender of every child soldier in the US Army.

Fascinating map of donations.  Dem donors >>> Repub donors.  Even battleground states like PA barely have any counties where R>D.  Reflective of Dems being college educated and likely having more money.

TBC: that’s not a compliment.

Yeah, you know what else gives off "stick to the whites" vibes? The famously mediocre Loire Valley.
Maybe you should stick to Merlot.

what the fuck is this bitch talking about?

She was speaking in code so Dems would know where to go to have sex with toddlers and suck the blood out of babies. You geniuses broke the pizza code, so we had to come up with a new one.

You need to thank Donald Trump for infiltrating the Epstein trafficking operation and protecting those young girls from the evil clutches of libtards. His work there was just the beginning of his unsung heroism in the protection of honor and decency in this once great country.

But those are just words. Pictures tell the story! There's truth in image!

I'm here to grab pussies.

It's okay, I'm a celebrity, and they're mostly pussies over 18 years of age.

Now show me to the dog and cat eaters of Springfield.

And 2000 people in the caravan?  I mean isn't that just a normal Tuesday if you believe all the other shit they've been spouting.

Sonic smasher is pretty darn good, but I did get it at the one “good” Sonic still in the area. Not cheap but less than Chilis and you can avoid the shame spiral from realizing you’re sitting at a table eating at fucking Chilis.

Are we talking about good burgers from places you're ashamed to patronize? Because I have seen some shit.

Are they bringing the fentanyl and other party favors or is this a different caravan?

it is a normal tuesday.  2000 people * 365 = 700k.  Immigration is well above that by multiple decimal places.

*edit : one decimal place

I love a good Chinon as much as the next guy, but Loire red’s can be a bit hit or miss.

I'm not sure I agree your police work there, since one is a cool river valley in central France and the other is….the Texas Hill Country.  Although your mention of Merlot is making me a bit thirsty for a St. Emilion.

Also, I want to thank all the great insights about wine and the oh-so-trendy smashburger. This thread is really slow and can use the added volume. And everybody cares about an individuals preferences about food and drink.

However, I have laughed at the Chili's references. It was the first place I ever had a taco on a flour tortilla. I saw the face of God.

Fast food is going through this right now. It's sad when you can go to a Chili's, Applebees, etc and get a better quality meal for the price some of these fast food joints are pricing themselves to.

No shit....I went to a Mcdonald's in eastern Washington to buy my dog a 1/4 pound patty to reward him for his great day in the field and  was flppred by the prices...filet of fish was more than $10, and a crispy chicken sandwich was more than $13. His patty was $4.75.

Most of the good Texas grapes are from the high plains and the cab franc and viognier grown there are truly excellent. Hill Country grows pretty good Mouvedre and Tannat and the Tempranillo vines will be good in 10-15 years, but that’s about it.

Under NDA, but did some work for one of the big fast food chains. They had survey after survey that suggested their customers base wanted better quality and was willing to spend a bit more. So they reengineered processes and spent more on ingredients.

No one noticed the increase in quality. Everyone noticed the increase in price.

No, they are still meandering around like the white walker army in Game of Thrones. You only cut to it when it's called for by the plot.

Some of y'all who are in DFW might know the name Richie Whitt, who has a checkered reputation (mostly bad on The Ticket thread) but I always liked from our shared days at the FWST. Anyway, I'm sharing what he posted to FB today. IMO, it was absolutely perfect.

I put a lot of stock in references, Google reviews and the company you keep.

Wanna know the best information about a person, place or thing? Ask those that know best. The co-workers. The residents. The customers.

Donald Trump is a convicted felon who dreams of authoritarian power and has creepy crushes on Vladimir Putin, Hannibal Lecter and Arnold Palmer's penis. But it's way more than that.

Those that know him the best, despise him the most.

His wife won't stand beside him; his former Vice President won't stand behind him.

At this point, voting for Trump to run America is to trust Kid Rock and the My Pillow guy more than military leaders and distinguished civil servants who worked alongside the former President in The White House.

It's like Tom Landry, Jimmy Johnson, Bill Parcells, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin were all calling for Jerry Jones to step down as GM while Stephen and Rowdy stubbornly claimed everything was hunky dory and that the last 28 Super Bowls weren't lost by the Cowboys, but instead merely stolen from them.

*Mike Pence, former VP: “The American people deserve to know that President Trump asked me to put him over my oath to the Constitution. … Anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be president of the United States.”

*James Mattis, former Defense Secretary: “His use of the Presidency to destroy trust in our election and to poison our respect for fellow citizens has been enabled by pseudo political leaders whose names will live in infamy as profiles in cowardice.”

*Mark Esper, former Defense Secretary: “I think he’s unfit for office. … He puts himself before country. His actions are all about him and not about the country. And then, of course, I believe he has integrity and character issues as well.”

*Mark Milley, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff: "Donald Trump is fascist to the core. He's the most dangerous person to this country.”

*John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations: “This will be a retribution presidency. And it will not be just against extreme left wingers, it will be against people who are Republicans and conservatives who stood against Trump. And it will be against people in the military, like Mark Milley.”

*Bill Barr, former U.S. Attorney General: “Someone like Trump, who engaged in that kind of bullying about a process that is fundamental to our system and to our self-government, shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office.”

*Tom Bossert, former Homeland Security Adviser: “The President undermined American democracy baselessly for months. As a result, he’s culpable for this siege, and an utter disgrace.”

*Ty Cobb, former White House Lawyer: “He has never cared about America, its citizens, its future or anything but himself. In fact, as history well shows from his divisive lies, as well as from his unrestrained contempt for the rule of law and his related crimes, his conduct and mere existence have hastened the demise of democracy and of the nation.”

Those that know Trump the best, despise Trump the most.

Vote carefully.

You mean the one that broke yesterday or the one that’s rumored to be about to break? Lotta groping these days. Hard to keep track.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread.  The economoist's data guy thinks Trump is leading.

"Our presidential forecast currently gives Donald Trump a 56% chance to win the presidential election. That’s about a ten percentage point shift from where we were last week when it was Harris who was nearly a 5545 favourite. So you could still say that the race is pretty close to a coin toss, but it’s gone from one that was slightly weighted towards Harris to one that is slightly weighted towards Trump, and a ten percentage point move is meaningful."

There's no way the Stacey Williams story is the one being discussed as a "campaign killer." That has to groping of a teenage daughter of a major donor before that will even raise eyebrows, much less be a campaign ender for this orange shitbag.

I believe they were just shitty surveys. Pretty much everyone wants better quality. They just did a shitty job of tying that to price increase.

And then pandemic so everyone decided to experiment with price elasticity. Bla bla
