And just like that, the magic beans are working

Anyone who thinks that a giant slice of the stockmarket isn't just memes and vibes isn't paying attention.  "Rational thinking" and "market value based on share price" of these enterprises are two concepts that never even get close to each other, much less touch.

That was.... something.

Think of it this way....that is a three minute display of pure personal debasement.  Imagine how much she'd debase herself for YOU.

You're familiar enough with my posts to know full well that already crossed my mind.

Around Elons dubious takeover of Twitter and before its subsequent degradation, I sold all my Tesla stock. It probably cost me money in theory, but that’s when I learned he was insane.

what sucks is that gutted the US’s soft power. We were the good guys. We provided food and medicine. Now we have an in to China giving them a chance for expanding their soft power.

Yeah, maybe I'm cynical but the main point of foreign aid is to extend US influence. A secondary outcome is the humanitarian aspect.

Our influence and strength is waning. Bc we are a power in decline

....by CHOICE.

We are eschewing, and fully sabotaging, all of our soft power in exchange for an approach that offers only bullying and violence.  It's as pathetic a bit of short-term thinking as I think I've ever seen, but man, are we COMMITTED to it.

A reply to that tweet with the crane falling over.  I'm assuming this is a slavish Elon fanboy:

Hopefully he quits the hard drugs, stops being an ahole, closes Twitter and spends time with his kids.  (Takes breath)  And upgrades his car models, and fixes FSD and makes his rockets stop exploding early.

Probably be easier for all involved if he would just accidentally Perry himself.

Operating from an altitude of 36,000 kilometers—more than 60 times higher than SpaceX’s Starlink network—this Chinese satellite has demonstrated a level of data transmission far superior to what Starlink can offer, pushing the boundaries of what many thought possible.

If there was only some way of identifying the reason for declining sales and the brands falling popularity.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/alanohnsman/2025/06/26/elon-musk-has-fired-one-of-his-top-tesla-lieutenants/

Quote

Elon Musk fired Tesla’s head of operations in North America and Europe, amid declining sales in both regions and the electric vehicle brand’s falling popularity, according to people familiar with the matter.

Omead Afshar, who started with Tesla as an engineer in 2011, had become one of Musk’s top lieutenants and was elevated to vice president to oversee business in the two key regions last October. He didn’t respond to a request for comment, nor did Musk or Tesla.

Afshar’s removal comes a few days before the end of the second quarter and follows news that Tesla’s EV sales dropped for a fifth consecutive month in Europe. U.S. sales are also down this year and China, the Austin-based company’s top market, saw a 15% drop in May. Equity analysts are anticipating a drop in Tesla’s EV deliveries of at least 10% worldwide in the quarter that ends on June 30, to about 392,800 units compared with 443,956 a year ago.

If the numbers are as dire as predicted (10% fall YoY in sales) that should result in at least a 30% spike in TSLA stock.
