This is OU v. aggy.

Let's hope it's not 77-0 (which was so amazingly beautiful) but is more like 7-8 overtimes.

Quite the space captain sweating which button to push moment for all the blue checks on Twitter right now. Go against your Nerd god or go against your Orange god?

Musk is now going hard on twitter after Trump and MAGA in the Congress, and he's publicly backing/retweeting/etc. all of the Republicans who are opposing Trump on the budget - Massie, Rand Paul, etc.

And he's retweeting Scott Adams, who was reiterating that Musk was going to primary every Republican who supports this bill, and a lot of other people.

Musk had this to say:

If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day. Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE.

And then somebody mentioned Bannon going after SpaceX on behalf of Trump, and Musk said this:

Bannon is going back to prison. This time for a long time.

Musk again:

What good is Doge saving $160B when this bill increases the debt ceiling by $5T? It makes mockery of the work.

And how are we supposed to reach Mars if America goes de facto bankrupt?

And then Trump was asked by a reporter (Musk retweeted the video):

REPORTER: "Are you going to deport Elon Musk?"

TRUMP: "We'll have to take a look. We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? The monster that might have to go back and eat Elon. Wouldn’t that be terrible? He gets a lot of subsidies."

----------------------------

Musk is having a day, and I doubt Trump forgot the Epstein comment either, but regardless, Musk says he'll help fund Massie to stay in Congress after Trump said he would get him kicked out.

Analyzing Musk and his "American Party" - Musk could probably get all of the crypto bros, libertarians, etc. on board, but could he get them to actually get out and vote?

Musk is pushing the idea that Trump/MAGA are supporting illegal immigrants getting government benefits with the new budget, so there's a whole lot of people confused right now.

No. But I assumed it was inevitable. That's Elon's reflexive response to every confrontation or rejection.

How is that different from 99.9% of all other cars?  Cars depreciate… no shit.

That skeet is pointing out that Teslas are depreciating faster than (as least a couple) other EVs. It's taking a mildly interesting fact and making into a "Elon is destroyed" internet moment.

Straight business, Homie.

Use Elmo, abuse him, milk him for whatever he's worth to rid ourselves of the scourge that is Trump/MAGA and then ...

I thought it was more to contrast the musk quote that teslas are appreciating assets

No I think it's referencing when Elon said Teslas will be an appreciating asset.

This is like a shitty version of Rings of Power with Musk being Adar without the empathy for the Orcs (Incels) rallying against Sauron.

This aged well:

Billionaire Elon Musk suggested on Monday that he would end up in prison if US Vice President Kamala Harris beats Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. After appearing alongside Mr Trump at a weekend rally, Mr Musk used a two-hour chat with Tucker Carlson to push right-wing talking points. "If he (Donald Trump) loses, I'm f****d," Mr Musk told Mr Carlson in an interview broadcast on X (formerly Twitter). "How long do you think my prison sentence is going to be? Will I see my children? I don't know," he quipped.

Provoking an army of neck bearded mouth-breathing MAGA folks who aren’t in the joke is such a giggle.

How does Elon benefit from the ruse?

I think it’s more probably that the slew of government agencies looking into his businesses would have found some egregious crimes, so to avoid prison he had to be in a position to gut those agencies or otherwise have their attention refocused.

Fuck Elon, he can go cry into his my pillow.

Yeah, probably most tied to if he committed fraud with FSD which then led to deaths which he could be held criminally responsible for. Also the issue with not disclosing his twitter shares when he was suppose to so he could keep buying at a reduced cost per share. Probably also future proofing by gutting OSHA and other regulatory things that would cost is companies money especially related to waste water pollution.

Who will he get as his candidate? Who would want to work with him?

For $1 billion, I will 100% volunteer to be the presidential nominee of the Musk Party, and will take whatever positions he wants me to.  Because -- and let's be clear -- I have principles, and a deep sense of morality.  BUT....I can definitely be bought.
