“we’re going to fuck ourselves voting for Trump and we know it.”

votes for Trump anyway.

“we’re now fucked.”

lol…

We need this 200 million more times and at multiple degrees further into personal economic collapse and then maybe, just maybe we might have a chance to restore some sanity to our government.

A mediocre white man is what is needed right now.

We did that in 2020, won the election, and look where we are today.

We need someone exceptional. People need to be inspired by a fresh movement or this bullshit will just continue.

Why don't they just hire Americans to work the cattle and work in the fields? It's not like it's hot or anything.

They're not really blaming Trump or themselves in that audio. They're blaming their workforce for fleeing. They voted for this shit thinking that Trump would put the workers in their place. They want hardships for the people they depend upon for their profits, enough that they feel uncomfortable demanding better wages or conditions but not quite so much that they leave altogether

That is exactly why you put all those nets around the building - for when people break their ankle chain and dive out the window of the factory.

Nope. The alternative was voting for they/them, socialism/communism/Marxism, and true "patriots" being persecuted. They'd vote the exact same tomorrow, even if it meant sure personal ruin.

Bingo.  See the legislation Louisiana is working on passing - you can injure or even kill your undocumented worker, and have ZERO liability in a civil suit.

"Make treating humans like chattel legal again" is their motto.  They don't want to get rid of undocumented labor.  Not even a little bit.  They just want to get rid of anything that would make it costlier than outright slavery.

We are past the 50/50 point on whether the SCOTUS will take up a case to rule that the 13th amendment flat-out doesn't apply to undocumented persons.

Hillary and Kamala were pretty exceptional.    If Biden's health is the only reason Trump is back in office.

That’s most definitely 10 Gbps stupid. They’re at least Cat 6, 6a, or 7 imbeciles.

He needs quinine to cure prostate cancer, Ivermectin is the snake-oil cure for covid!  Has he considered also increasing his pH levels, cancer thrives in low pH environments,  I have these supplements and specially balanced water that will help, at only $19.99 per gallon. I heard from others that 1 gallon per day for 180 days is enough.

It is not unusual for weeks to pass before FEMA approves a declaration. President Donald Trump has pointed to these waits as a reason he is considering dismantling the agency, calling FEMA “very bureaucratic” and “very slow.”

Yeah, that's game plan.  Crippled the agencies, drive up dissatisfaction with them, dismantle them completely, replacing the bureaucracy with a King handing out money to the governors who bend the knee.  A competent dictatorship can be fast and even efficient.  But the "competent" part of that isn't a system, it's luck.  Luck that we will not have.

Katrina helped expose the Bush administration, before the maturity of social media and sophisticated active measures campaigns from nefarious entities that distract and deflect accountability.

Thing is, Arkansas has had a fair share of disasters in the past 2 months, and I'm not sure exactly what more Huckabeef needs to do to secure FEMA funding for her state, other than maybe give Trump a sloppy bj on tv.

I'm not defending her in the least, but she's as MAGA as they come and it hasn't been enough.

The thing more she needs to do is somehow become physically attractive, then Trump will give funds.

Well, he's not King yet.  Right now he can only gum up the system, not replace it.  He gums it up enough and people will believe it needs to be replaced.  Arkansas and Missouri are filled with enough cultists who will believe him as he says it's FEMA's fault.  Huckabeef certainly won't blame Trump.  And once the system is replaced* with a single decision maker, that decision maker has all the power.  It's the same thing with Tariffs.  Sure, he may fuck up the economy, but since Congress has ceded him the ability to either save or ruin companies, he can use that to demand loyalty.  Same thing with deportations.  When the President, or the Dept of State, can decide to cancel a visa, they can punish someone who says something they don't agree with.  Trump is demonstrating what happens when a system is placed with a person.

Note: it doesn't actually need to "replaced," just "reformed" in a way that makes it more "efficient." That includes which states/counties get funds.  It could also include which contractors get the work, which would be a graft machine.

Hawley doesn't give a shit if his constituents receive any aid or not, no skin off his back. He just wants to be able to say "hey I tried".

Hawley is one of those weird Republicans who seem to care about a few things. Like 90% of the time he is an insane right wing nutjob and then 10% of the time he is teaming up with Bernie Sanders to advance some social program.

He cares about:

1.  Making a shit ton of money

2.  Getting re-elected.

That's it.
