Still in hi-def on reddit.

It’s pretty glorious.

Someone looked up her past.  Tigerdroppings maybe?

She was a former breastaraunt worker in BF Midland/Odessa and ended up catching a guy who worked at the company his smart and rich father owned.

Man I bet Christmas and Thanksgiving were fun at their house after that.

I was managing my anger 😡 just fine until I read this shit.

i challenge our pussy press corps to ask Sark how his decision to change the entire approach to the offseason has contributed to the frustration in the facility amongst players.

How those prostyle NFL off season bullshit changes affected our 3-2 record? Affected our staff’s ability to properly evaluate players and put them in the best position (or on the bench) to succeed on the field?

Why did he switch from giving our players invaluable reps in real contact practices during the offseason with 140 plays  to try a prostyle approach that has so far fucked everyone in CFB over who has tried it? Why??????

His ego needs its ass drop kicked to Armenia 🇦🇲 wearing that suit that Niecy Nash’s WIFE wore BETTER at a television awards event. Damn. Rage building. Mother fucker.

Oddly enough despite the above, I’m gradually getting to the point where I am accepting that I cannot have expectations for Texas Football anymore. It’s better that way. For me.

But damn if I will allow Sark to slink away from his own decisions which created self-inflicted unnecessary problems for this season. He is not skating from his bullshit. Nope.

"... frustration in the facility"

Shitspeak for "anger in the locker room".

A key element in team building is "Do YOUR job and trust your teammates to do their jobs".

Sounds like we have finger-pointing and dissatisfaction rampant. Leads from being pissed at other players to being pissed at coaches, to mentally dropping out.

We don't necessarily need to mudhole the sooners - although that should always be in the cards - but we do need to whip their ass, and not just metaphorically.

C'mon, Sark. Bring it.

I think the approach change is a major issue too. Not only did it take away real practice for players still learning it inherently told the players they were playoff bound without earning it. Soft culture here again.

Crazy to think that in a few days the season will be half over, and we could be 0-3 in our three P4 games.

Of course that won't happen because we're gonna do inhumane things to those troglodytes in the Cotton Bowl. But still.

I could understand floating this “NFL prostyle offseason” if we didn’t have money or if we were having a hard time landing recruits or keeping them. Like Deion. But it’s a shit gimmick. And Charlie Weis went from 9-3 to 3-9 by employing it. I’m not about to argue the virtues of Charlie Weis the HC but there is a good reason why this prostyle stuff every time it’s been employed hasn’t worked out.

people laugh at culture, having one, having an identity. It’s for other schools, not Texas people say. And maybe schools like an Iowa State or a Texas Tech have to have that bc of location and other things. Tech now has money to burn and one thing I thought they did that was smart when going after portal players was they wanted dudes who were Team Captains at their previous schools.  They wanted built in leaders in each unit. To me that’s essential.

There is a place for finesse. And even a place for having a practice a week that is more unit and detail focused and less about contact. But to scrap the entire practice scheme we had that got us from 5-7 to 8-4 to 12 wins and then 13 makes no fucking sense at all. Why throw out completely what was working? I have no idea.

it seemed like Sarks stint in the NFL really made an impression on him. He visits NFL programs every spring and admires what they do and wanted to emulate that. It’s batshit to me. Total batshit.

I think you find time to sneak in rest and you build in even more layers of plays and schemes for playoffs but you don’t go soft from day 1. Quite the arrogance on his part if you ask me.

It sure seems that sark and the players have mastered the nonchalant attitude of the NFL. These guys have the same body language and facial expressions on the sidelines.

I noticed that not too long after the Ohio State game started, and it hasn't really improved through the next four games. Outside of getting over on those fucking sons of bitches from Sam Houston State, of course. Pretty fired up there.

Feels like if we lose this weekend or season tanks further that Bobby will finally rip the band aid off his approach to being positive and post the Steve Sarkisian mea culpa.

Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer was upgraded to “probable” last night. That decreases the chances of a Longhorn victory IMO.

But it simultaneously increases the odds that the Longhorns are going to be pushed to fight as hard as they can on every play. That they’ll play with an unbridled passion and focus.

Unfortunately, we haven’t seen a level of consistent focus and passion this year.

Maybe this game, maybe Mateer, shakes the cobwebs loose.

**

I hope folks realize the indictment of what I wrote above really is.

Right now, this team is not playing well on a number of levels. The offensive line looks lost against pressure. The interior defensive line is not getting much of a push in the pass rush. And the offense seems to lack the punch it had a year ago.

**

The bottom line:

We need to see something different in the Cotton Bowl tomorrow. If that game doesn’t get you amped up and focused as a team, then you may not have a pulse this season.

**

Despite Mateer, I’m still picking the Horns.

I have faith that the Texas defense will come to play, and Sark and Manning will find a soft spot - at least enough of one - somewhere in that OU defense.

The OL has looked lost against pressure for most of Floods time at Texas, correct? I know we have complained about it and explained it away by saying they were young, or inexperienced, or not used to playing together.

My biggest fear is not Venables comes in and blitzes the offense into oblivion. It is he dusts off his 3 high package and mind fucks the OL with simulated pressures and they get to Arch bringing 3.

I look forward to seeing Stroh fall over in the wrong role, leaving his man unblocked, Baker committing three drive killing penalties, a false start from the Center and the TE being pretty much invisible in passing game as Arch is the Aaron Judge of QB play.

Holy fucking shit I'm just seeing Lagway had a career best QB rating against us.

Wanna hear something worse? #33, Brien Taylor Jr., entered our game with 0 pressures, 0 sacks, and 0 TFLs.

Our OL made him look like a Nagurski Award finalist

Happy Happy Joy Joy

Good thing defensive coordinators in the SEC don’t pick up on stuff like this and never ever bring pressure.

I struggle to square this narrative with the OTF reports that offseason practices were MORE physical than in years past. Sure seems like one of them is bullshit, and I know which one my money would be on.

Not sure if Sark the right guy to win us a championship, but this is the first time since 2008-2009 Texas has won back to back games against OU. Sark deserves kudos because that is an unacceptably long drought that he got us out of.

I'm loathe to say this, but he wasn't wrong. Just field the fucking punt. I don't know how many yards it's cost us on the season, but it's a pretty sizable number

Agreed for sure. Special teams is an issue all around. I just thought it was funny because he’s always so wrong about everything, then he tweets this and the next punt return gets housed.
