Does the dad get the FBI reward funds? Thanks son!

he probably has a claim to it.

Brings up a fascinating question.  Would you(the royal you) turn your own son in?

Frankly I probably couldn't do that.  just horrible to think about.

maybe its offset to clear the bolt action?  I've never seen one like that.

Also could contribute to hitting the right side of the target, which I believe is where Kirk was hit?

A very chronically online meme

Notices Bulge / OwO What's This? is a copypasta parodying both furries and online roleplay subcultures, which is typically used online as a method of trolling. The meme originated from these communities around early 2013 and spread online over the following years.

(sort of confident i just typed a slur, but ignorant enough to know who i'm insulting)

Saw it yesterday, apparently far far righties who think people like Kirk and Shapiro are too soft.

The Groypers, sometimes called the Groyper Army, are a group of alt-right, white nationalist, and Christian nationalist activists led by Nick Fuentes.

Groypers are named after a cartoon amphibian named "Groyper", a variant of the Internet meme Pepe the Frog.

Dropped on the buttstock and the mountings on the scope were loose and shifter slightly would be my guess.

Fuck you.  Don't care if I get banned.  This website is an absolute shithole filled with despicable and evil people.  It's why none of the decent Longhorns I know would step foot in this dump. And why this website will never grow. I would be glad to be banned. I am no longer wasting time with you awful humans.

I’d like to think I’d try to convince him to turn himself in — accountability and all that, but who knows what I’d do in the moment. If the report is correct that he drove his son to be turned in, I can’t imagine what that car ride felt like for the father. On some level, you’re losing your son.

Only thing I’m noticing is two shooters (recently) MN Catholic School and the CK shooter: the furry thing, I have zero idea of it honestly. But both shooters are familiar with furries. Or whatever. I don’t care, is where people dress up like animals?

i'm so hopelessly behind the times in internet meme world that i can't judge whether 'caio bella' and 'uwu' actually mean nick fuentes fan boy or not.  one casing says 'die fascist,' one says 'caio bella,' which that tweet claims is nick fuentes but that google tells me is anti-nazi from italian partisan days, and uwu, which god only knows what that is leading to.  'die fascist' doesn't seem like something coming from someone that is further right than kirk.

'if you're reading this, you're gay' is the only one that i can kind of interpret.  the dumbest one* actually gives me a little insight: he's not angry because of a lack in inclusivity in charlie's message.

*the scoreboard is entirely between 1.00 and 1.01 on the 1-10 scale.

Won’t be able to get much from the memes he posted imo. more important is which types of communities in which he got them and posted them in.

His discord messages will tell the tale. If/when they come out

And the social media world is FULL of right wingers spouting how this was obviously a pro hit with a vast conspiracy involving Dems at the highest levels…

And it's full of left wingers thinking it was some professional that Trump hired to have Charlie killed to distract from Epstein. That was like the first thing my mom texted me two days ago - who is chronically online in left-leaning spaces.

So what is your point exactly? There are a bunch of dipshits online from both sides?

He called Charlie a fascist, he espoused to his family how much he disliked him and why, so his leanings are pretty straighforward imo. I think I know why there's handwringing over it, but it's unnecessary.

one of them was talking about retrieving a rifle from a "drop point".   does that mean he snuck it out of his parent's house and hid it somewhere, or bought it from someone or someone gave it to him?

So we have in order on the bullet casing: a furry meme, a helldiver's 2 meme, a WWII Italian resistance anti fascist song, and a common troll comment on message boards. What a fucking weird situation

Thanks for the explanation.

what is with the furry thing? The MN Catholic school mass killer and the Charlie Kirk assassin are both familiar with the furry thing. Aren’t they just people who dress up like animals and act like them?

Furries are a common thing whether they are a furry or are making fun of furries in online communities like discord and even twitter.

Seems like this dude is involved in a lot of gaming communities.

Again the posting of memes doesn’t point to one side or the other in those communities. The types of communities and context of their messages within those communities will.

This thread is a salient example of the right winger drive to frame it as an insane TRANS leftist attack, and it's been echoed by mainstream media and the President of the United States of America. I have no doubt there's fringe conspiracy people on the left doing as you say, but they're hardly comparable.

There are absolely a bunch of dipshits online from #bothsides but let's not delude ourselves into thinking that it's predominantly the right leading the violence and hate-filled rhetoric. There's another board to discuss that if you'd care to actually talk facts on that more poltical topic.

I'm not sure, aside from furries are a common punching bag in online spaces and a silly thing to meme on. They're often cited as an exmaple of "woke run amok" because humans are acting like animals - think "litterboxes in classrooms". Hell, an internal tool I frequently use at work gives me results as "uWufirstoutput.zip" because the memelord that wrote the tool years ago did it, and nobody has bothered to change it. It's just a weird part of internet culture

That's a part of it. Here is a long wiki article about the community: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furry_fandom

I hang out online in some spaces and so I've encountered artistic younger people who would fit the category, but not enough to know all the in-jokes, terms, and the like. The bullet inscription seems (on the surface) to be more derogatory, almost like a gamergate type of slur towards the interest but I'm not a groyper and I'm old so what do I know?

Fucking yes!  That's what makes all of this so fucking frustrating.

Both sides are like 95% the same.  We are all just trying to do our best to raise our kids, make some money, and have some fun.  We've both got normies and weirdos and online freaks and political dorks.

But for some reason, we keep electing and platforming the people (including, unfortunately, Charlie Kirk) who draw attention to our differences.  The President of the United States said today that he "couldn't care less" about violence from those on the right.  The country will not survive with this attitude.

If we as a country do not want this man to die in vain, then we can start electing unifiers instead of dividers.  We can recognize that it is unhealthy to immediately assume every horrible act is committed by someone that embodies all of the characteristics we personally hate.  We can acknowledge that the world is so much nicer when you aren't fucking filled with carefully algorithm'd rage pumped into your brain 24/7.

I'm not holding my breath, but I'd sure like to see it.

still very wide open in my opinion

Scorecard in my opinion: "die fascist" = +1 lefty

Raised in MAGA family = +1 righty

If you're reading this you're gay = +1 righty

Caio Bella = +1 lefty

UWU what's this = +1 righty, if i had to assign a score to it given the very inane online presence it suggests that i associate with incel memeworld that trends righty.

"Kirk is too hateful" comment = +1 lefty.

This is a good time to remember that when you see someone say something that makes you angry or is trying to incite you to anger (either your “side” or the other “side”), there’s a good chance that the “person” saying it may be a bot/troll working for another country trying to destabilize us. Or, it’s a real person who has been radicalized by the same fake anger.

A few years back, Russian trolls manufactured both a protest and counter protest in Houston over a mosque. Real people, with real thoughts and feelings, had their thoughts and feelings manipulated, distorted, and amplified by Russian trolls. And they were convinced to show up and yell at one another.

At least several years ago, the majority of the most popular “Christian” Facebook pages were Eastern European troll farms.

If you go to Reddit or facebook and see a constant push of antagonism, there’s most certainly a mix of real people and trolls/bots pushing the real people further away from sanity. Fear, anger, distorting of reality.

Everyone is facing this constant push of manipulation towards anger. Charlie Strong may have struggled with the coin toss, but his analysis of our culture was prescient.

There has been an alarming amount of rage-bait and stoking the fires and general bot behavior I've seen in the wake of this. It's been really disconcerting to read to the point where I realized I probably shouldn't be surfing through posts and going down comment chains in those places. The worst examples were from x and Instagram threads. Two shitsides of the same shitcoin.

Going forward I hope people become more prudent about how much they are online or at the very least what they are digesting online. Or just put their phones down more often in general. This shit is literally going to destroy our society and it's only going to get worse with AI.

I have the same read you do - it's being used as a troll, similar to "if u can read this ur gay". It fits with that rhetorical style online

Not trying to pick this apart, but genuinely curious what the left leaning spaces are.

They're just in-jokes from some online forum. He might as well have inscribed "CJK5H" (which, while true, is also a shorthand in-joke for college football fans)
