Favorite Rolling Stones Song?

Gimmie Shelter is my obvious #1 but my somewhat under the radar #1 would be "All Down the Line".   that song when played at old  school Stones 70's speed is flat out kick ass, IMO.  Mick Taylor on the slide, too good.  horns, etc.

its too bad I didn't get to see them then.  I bet they were a fucking freight train LIVE in that era.  About 10 years from formation, so they were pretty tight, and then you add Taylor.

My honest opinion, this show in '72 was the greatest rock concert of all time.

sorry for bit of a threadjack. found 2 more ADTL.  one approx 1996 after that 72 performance and then Beacon theater 2006.  basically 25 and 35 years later. interesting to see the differences. Mick still had decent chops in 1996 but the growl is gone.  The Beacon vocals are meh but hey the dude is 60 there.  You never ever feel like Mick is mailing it in. the Beacon tempo seems closer to 72.

Ronnie is a very good slide player but he tends to over do it a bit.  It is always hard to top the dude who did it on the record but Taylor's is so smooth.

still even these guys at 50 and 60ish are kicking ass and it is a blistering song either way.

not one vote for moonlight mile? i'll also throw out slave and sway, since i havent seen them mentioned.
It's absolutely their best song ever depending upon the moment you hear it. One of my go to songs when sitting around my Solo Stove late at night with a good glass of Irish whiskey.
