Ronin. Free on YouTube right now. One of my favorites and it still holds up. 29 year old Natascha McElhone giving hope to 55 year old grouches everywhere.

“What color is the boat house at Hereford?”

Last Breath. True story about a diver who gets cut off from his oxygen. Crazy stuff.

The documentary that it’s based on is hair raising.

Jean Reno is such a solid actor; that's one of his good ones. Still crack up at his role in the much lighter-hearted French Kiss with Kevin Kline and Meg Ryan.

Near Dark.  A 1980s vampire movie.  Bill Paxton has never really impressed me with his range, but damn was he good as an evil vampire in this flick.

There is a disturbing scene where the vampires visit some rural roadhouse bar.  Does not work out well for the patrons.  Paxton was just fantastic in it.  Not academy award type stuff, but a fun watch.

Of A Violent Nature on Hulu.

Don't. Just don't.

What? It's greatness! The question mark kill was one of the most creative I've seen.

And the wood splitter scene was perfect.

Try that in a small town.

Oh it had some great violence, but I could have made that movie in my backyard.

Thoroughly enjoyed Accountant 2. Violent in parts but overall fun and good story. Wife and I watched the first one again the night before we went to see the new one. I really enjoyed both and glad I rewatched the one done 8 years ago.

We did the same thing. From the things I have read, it’s meant to be a trilogy.

I forgot to add that I need to watch it again, as I still feel like I missed some of the connections. We saw it at a theater 60 miles away- if our little hometown theater shows it, I will definitely hit it up.

It’s a movie I’d like to see again.

I watched Braveheart for, I think, the first time since I originally saw it back when it came out in 94. It does not hold up nearly as well as I expected. There were a bunch of very corny, comic relief scenes that didn't work. I've always lumped it in with Gladiator, as they're both period pieces about a warrior who is driven to redeem the murder of his wife by a tyrant. But I can rewatch Gladiator 100 times. I'll never watch Braveheart again. Can't believe it won best picture. That being said, I remember thinking it was great when it first came out.

I hear what you're saying, and it's a good comparison. To me, Braveheart feels like a flick from the 1980s, but Gladiator has a more timeless cinematic character to it.

It’s spectacular. The writing is fantastic. The cast is killer. Just awesome.

Since the monster storm that passed through two days ago and knocked out the power for about 400,000 around Pittsburgh my sister has been at my house. She lives a mile away and has no power. I have power. She mentioned that she had never seen the movie from the very beginning so I made her sit down and watch the beginning, especially when he "kicked the bucket". Just awesome.

Watched Havoc a few days ago.  Tom Hardy, Timothy Olyphant and Forest Whitaker all mailed in unremarkable performances in a heavily cliched shoot 'em up crime movie.  But I was enterained.

It's the kind of movie where somone gets off 25+ shots from a hand gun without reloading during a shootout.

Started it, but then pivoted to Loaded Weapon.  Comfortable with my choice

Saw this at the Hogg auditorium back in the day when it came out and haven’t watched it since. I remember it being a really good movie. Maybe it’s time to revisit.

I had tickets to see this at the Alamo last July, but got the flu and couldn't go.  I was so pissed.  I love this movie and wanted to see it on the big screen just one time.
