The best thing the Browns could probably do is just throw every flavor of shit sandwich at Shedeur and see how he handles it. Just barrage him with bullshit.

Bullshit Barrage is a decenr band name. Shedeur might want to use it for his rap career.

I dunno man, a Punk band ala The Dead Milkmen named Bullshit Barrage with a first album titled Shit Sammich and a track called Shadeur Magic has some real legs.

Pretty scary how skinny he has been looking.

They turned an assistant loose on recruiting. I don't know his name, but he's done a pretty decent job, seemingly on his own. I think they have like 14 HS recruits, which is way better than they've done in the last two years.

So, who do we want?

Seaton. Couple of recievers. An impractical wrist watch.

The rumor is that he has bladder cancer.

Source is some CU fan on reddit so take with a very large grain of salt:

His kids are gone, so if his health is an issue, I don’t see any reason he stays there outside of the money. His contract is for $55m over the next 5 seasons. There could very well be a buy out clause if he’s physically unable to perform as the coach.

Wish him the best,  do question the wardrobe but each to their own.

There are very real questions about his recovery,  how they restructured "things' with the bladder removal, the propensity for infections with bladder issues, and how all of this is compounded by his diabetes which has already cost him some body parts.

He can do what he wants, he does have the money to get quality care, but at what points does he and CU have  a discussion about his future and the future of the program.

Has that been confirmed? All I have ever seen was those were due to recurring blood clots.

Video evidence though in the world or AI, CGI, FBI, and every other I combination it could be made up I guess, but diabetes is a mother fucker and when you start staking other health issues on it......

I'm glad for him being able to beat cancer and get back to coaching. I'm glad he told everyone to go get checked out, especially calling out African-American men for not wanting to go to the doctor. His words, to paraphrase, "If I didn't get checked out for one thing they wouldn't have found the other and we'd be having a whole different celebration right now."

I was wrong thinking Deion was going to leave CU yesterday. Bladder removal seems extreme but then again I’m not an oncologist or surgeon. I can understand wanting the cancer cut out even if it creates other side effects. And good on him for being open about embarrassing side effects but they shouldn’t be embarrassing. It’s better to have to wear depends or frequently head to the bathroom as opposed to dying.

hopefully more people, especially men, visit their doctors after seeing Deion’s story.

My 15 minutes of wiki med school says removal is usually done when the cancer has penetrated the bladder muscle.

My dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2020.  As I looked into that particular cancer, it seems like next to prostate, bladder cancer is No. 2 in "best" cancers to get, meaning treatments and remission rates are pretty good.  However, my dad was 76 at the time, and as a much older man the surgery and chemo really did a number on him, and exponentially accelerated his aging.  But, he caught it at an early stage, the tumor had not progressed to the kidneys (which can become a big concern), so he kept his bladder.

Because of my old man, when I heard Deion's press conference yesterday I had a lump in my throat.  He's still Deion, so I'm sure he'll continue to say and do things that will cause me to roll my eyes.  But I'm pulling for him, and I hope he fucks some shit up in the Big XII next year, though it's a tall order without Travis and Shedeur.

So does he have a bag now, or do they transplant bladders?

Agree with the sentiment that CFB is better with some characters.  Deion isn't really my cup of tea,(I favor the Pirates brand of zaniness) but I'd rather he be stirring some shit up than another milquetoast robot talking about the same old football coach bullshit.

Deion has had to deal with more than his share of medical issues for a man of his age and fitness. And yes he's brash, but he also seems like a genuinely good guy and I'm rooting for his full recovery and whatever success he can have on the field that doesn't impact the Longhorns negatively.

Hope that Deion doesn't use a podcast as a way to show everyone as he did with the toes.

Simple words will suffice in this case.

Read that they used a piece of his intestine to create a pseudo bladder. Dunno if that's SOP or what.

His oncologist in attendance at the press conference said they removed the bladder even after successful treatment because there was a 50%+ change it would return; so he and his medical team decided to remove the bladder.

Yep, that's one SOP when you remove one's entire bladder (radial cystectomy). With a "pseudo bladder," a new bladder (neobladder) is created with a piece of the small intestine. This "urinary diversion" allows urine produced by the kidneys to flow through a conduit into a new bladder, which is typically either:
1. connected to the urethra, which his allows for more natural urination.
2. flows into a bag that is on the stomach and needs to be emptied as urine collects.

Otherwise, you typically connect to a urostomy through a stoma on the abdomen and connect it to a urine bag externally. When urine is produced, it flows into the bag immediately and then you drain the bag when it gets full enough.

Why the fuck are we taking two marginal rookie QB's in this draft, Andrew?

I really hope the worst is behind Deion, but God damn he's such a narcassist. He needs his medical team with him to make an announcement about removing his bladder because of cancer? He couldn't just sit down by himself and say what happened? What a clown show.

I don't wish anyone with a life-threatening illness bad will, but for fucks sake, have your kids and wife with you and announce it and ask for well wishes, which I am sending his way. But his narcassism is just too much for me.

That dude has been looking out for #1  and vigorously huffing his own farts since he was at FSU...thats just who he is. But he usually outperforms expectations, and cfb is absolutely a more compelling product with him involved. Having his medical team around for this presser ranks far, far down the list of complaints about Deion. Hope the dude sticks around for awhile. TBH, I wouldnt hate a game in boulder some fall.

I'm with you. He's just a "look at me" guy, but he is who he is. But yeah, a game in Boulder would be the tits. Haven't been there in...Jesus...when was the last time we played there? Boulder is absolutely stunning, and has so many things to do after the game for the weekend. I'm all for it.

Edit: Since you brought up he huffs his own farts, I read an article where he went into a meeting before the draft and asked where the team picked, and when they said something like 6 or whatever, dude straight up got out of his chair and said I'll be gone before then. Kind of a baller move. Lol
