Skipped leg day to be there.

Skipped upper body day too.

Looks like he's regularly hitting Ozempic day though.

His lifts are comical too, his knee is like 5 inches taller than the guy on the right despite them otherwise having nearly identical proportions and would be the same height in socks.

It's hilarious that the Republicans' top two candidates are so fucking vain and insecure that they wear makeup/have something done to help with balding, or wear fucking high heels.

And we can't make fun of them, Abbott and Patrick are probably trying to work out how to one-up this.  So not only will we get books struck down that mention the Holocaust, but probably slavery, the Trail of Tears, experiments at Tuskegee, etc.

Probably? Didn't Texas already try to rename slavery? And the Tuskegee experiments has never been taught to any student I know. The Greenwood Tulsa massacre used to be a thing, but it's no longer a thing.

Anybody who thinks they want history taught should probably start standing up for history really being taught... Lest their history be erased soon, too.

I'm honestly surprised that Republicans haven't tried to rescind the Juneteenth holiday since it was first signed into law back in the 80s.

Republicans have acknowledged that for a bit in America's early history, we didn't exactly treat African American's with the best manners.  Give them some credit.

True, Republicans are quick to point out that they provided food and shelter for these displaced Africans in the antebellum South.

He was at the Southside Des Moines location of Jethro's BBQ, about a mile from the airport last night. The unscheduled or unpromoted event had the politics guy from channel 13 there to take video and pictures with his phone. Trump had canceled his afternoon rally just around the corner at the park nearby. I drove past the area today, and there were 2 different video billboards with Ron Desantis PAC ads on them in the very short area between the park and the airport.

Wonder if DeSantis realizes that if he were to beat Trump in the primaries (or Trump dropped out for some reason), that MAGA will not only not vote for him out of spite, but may even vote for the Dems just to keep him out of the WH, because he's far worse than any libtard - he is a Republican who dares challenge MAGA.

Ultimately everyone falls in line. Almost every voter can show up to the polls with the understanding of holding their nose while voting. Sure MAGA won't have the passion for DeSantis that they do with Trump but they will vote DeSantis to keep Biden from a 2nd term.

What DeSantis needs over the next 6 months is to get all of the conservative networks and influencers to switch to him. Many of Trump's voters only listen to sound bites from talking heads, either directly or indirectly through their social circle. But I don't think DeSantis is there yet.

There may be a few who don't vote if DOTarD drops out, but most will vote against Biden. The only way your scenario plays out is if dOTaRD runs as an independent.

Trump holds grudges like nobody's business, which means MAGA holds grudges, and if Trump loses in the primaries, he's liable to run third party anyways, or tell his supporters that the GOP is not a viable party.  He will destroy any Republican that beats him in the primaries.  If he drops out for other reasons, DeSantis still isn't nearly as charismatic/engaging.

Plus, plenty of Trump supporters were not actively voting prior to his candidacy (or even in 2016).  Trump tapped into something that other Republicans weren't able to do in the past, and won't in the future.

All Trump supporters will hear about DeSantis over the next 6 months is how disloyal he is to Trump, and how he betrayed Trump, because he's only Governor DeSantis due to Trump (and not because of the (R)).

Trump will do everything possible to destroy him, and if he somehow beats Trump, Trump will either run third party, or do something else that will soak up a lot of money that would have been spent on Republican candidates.

I find that delightful.

He was happy at his wedding.  Which was at Disney World.

If trump loses the primary, he will be busy screaming about election fraud by the rinos and working to get the delegates to vote for him anyway at the convention.  I doubt an independent run is in the cards.

He’s already laid the groundwork that he only loses the primary if there was fraud, so he will poison the well against DeSantis.

When Desantis loses to Trump, he'll double down on cruelty to gays and blacks in Florida.  His thing is to make the liberals pay, and since he's a bully, the rest is bullying trickle down.

Yep, just Googled and read the stuff out there on this as a reminder that I wasn't crazy and did remember this accurately--and it's frightening.

Yeah, not sure insulting the handful of kids from horrific Florida public schools who miraculously get accepted into the best public university in the Western Hemisphere is quite the flex he thinks it is.  I mean his base will eat it up, but he still has to look into the eyes of Yale and Harvard and USNA alums and donors.

They've already banned the out gay teachers.  They aren't allowed to have pictures of their S/O's on their desk or mention in any way that they are on the rainbow spectrum.  You can be a gay teacher in Florida, but you must stay in the closet to do so.
