Just got a pop up window from our IT department saying it’s going to install Crowdstrike Falcon Sensor.

This is on TOP of Windows Security, ZScaler, Trend Vision One Endpoint Security, and Duo Mobile 2-step authentication…

My computer is crawling with every addition level of security. Total overkill.

Half of it is probably spyware.

I can't remember the last time I had any anti-virus on a personal PC.

The NGO I served with got shut down by an international ransomware organization 3 years ago. It was unbelievable. Crowdstrike was one of the keys to recovery. I agree with @Sam Lin, you should be thanking them.

Get a password manager.  I do 40+ character passwords all the time.  Just remember your Password Manager password, and it does the rest for you.  Been preaching this to management for ages, to get them away from Password123 and other breached passwords.

Thanks for touting the benefits of Crowdstrike. If that’s the best out there, then I’m okay with it. My beef is with having 4 different anti-virus, anti-malware softwares installed which has noticeably slowed down my computer. My friends in the IT department (important to be friends with them) already though 3 layers was a PITA to managed.

We're hosting my clients for a video mediation tomorrow, so we're ordering in lunch from the barbecue place down the street. Clients are some burly country boys. In addition to me and them, there's 3 other male lawyers, none of whom are manlets, and a female lawyer who only eats meat.

I overheard our clerk ordering just one pound of brisket. Had to do something about that.

I didn’t know my wife was moonlight as your clerk.

A family axiom, passed down from my grandmother, is, there is never too much food. My dad, my sister and I stay true to that belief. So what if there are leftovers? It just means you have lunch for tomorrow and you don’t need to cook dinner either.

My wife and I used to fight about how we’re raising the kids. Now we fight about how much food to get when we’re having friends over.

It is always better to have too much than not enough.

Another go to for me is that I would rather be an hour early than a minute late.
