So the “ thoughtful & balanced Ag” who is setting 8&4 as their expected case ( last year as well sip) thinks that in 26 they’ll be a playoff team and then perennial playoff contenders.   What in the their history would allow for that projection?   What in their recent performance says they are improving?   Qb is a rotating mess.  They recruit ok but development is mid teens Texas.  They have NFL talent but it is typically first to portal then gets drafted.   Roster balance is a no show.  Their portal classes are a joke and nobody wants to hire any of their coaches.

I assume Looch gave his people the long weekend off. And justifiably so. The crybaby autopsy articles will still be there on Tuesday.

I think the SECN is partially to blame. They spent the entire LSU broadcast discussing how dangerous aggy was if they got in. Most dangerous .500 team in history, put it on the wall!

I found this exchange over at William's place. Imagine the world centuries from now. Archeologists sift through the remains of College Station. Several odd things about the place and the legends of an army run by a dog and a populace terrified to walk on grass has finally justified a dig. The writings below would be very insightful as to the minds of the people known as Aggies.

1 Bowel Movement Aficionado

2 Apparently, the Aggies are considering the creation of a bull fighting team.

3 Statement of fact. We'll call this Dogma 1: They're all out to get us because of t.u. It's a fact!

4 And here? Dogma 2 We have to ignore that "fact" of persecution and concentrate on ourselves.

Aggies will gaze at their own navels after what it is and where it is are explained.

5 Aggie Netword validation. Brings a tear to the eye.

6 It's pretty clear you weren't agreeing with the fixation on t.u. part.

7 You keep using that word...

8 Firmly in the camp of Dogma 1

9 You abjectly accepted the object lesson about power when you protested Texas joining the SEC.

It was betrayal that you would not stand for! You might just take your power to another conference!

You learned the measure of your power in that moment. Chastened, you tamely voted for Texas' entry.

10 His (nick)name keeps popping up. I expect a sizable faction of TexAgs posters to demand his return.

11 The Aggies are so noble and decent and decent and just plain good. Thanks for the truth, buttwad.

Their historic run in Hoover = lost in same round as us (which ended up bumping us down to #2 overall seed).

How can you say their QB situation is a mess? They assured themselves last year that they QB room was far superior to sip.

It's a real shocker I know but aggy doesn't understand what Catch-22 means.

edit - Oh that was in my editor from yesterday and left unposted. Here aggy is saying to applaud and recognize loathing bitter fan. Which sounds about right for them, eh. Proud of them for coming to terms.

It says there Missouri went 3-27 in SEC play. Does anyone know who those 3 wins were against and where they played? Must have won them at home, right?

Aggie is the best and clearest evidence of superdeterminism, the universe may very well be scripted.

I don’t even know what to say. There was a time and place not long ago where A&M was leading the NIL charge in a humongous way. They bought “the best class” in history but their big dogs were daring the NCAA to do anything about their brazen activities. They were and are very well lawyered up.

Everyone in cfb had to stand by and see what came from that class. We all know the rest. They literally ran the experiment . They cannot lose if they just spend the money right?

Fast forward and they’re completely cucked by Jimbo and their best hire was a fatass mid major coach from a basketball school. While still owing Jimbo tens of millions. Jimbo Fisher.

Behrens is one of the smarter ag writers but he's off the reservation on this one. The gulf in scholarship limits, TV money, etc, mean playing most FCS teams is like abusing a puppy. The fact we never play them is a major point of pride for a reason.

Marcel - one year of experience

3* Arch - zero years of experience

Advantage: A&M

I took lots of classes in Burdine. I have said it before and will say it again…

”Burdine is the ugliest building on the UT campus.”

UTEP also happens to be within the UT system of schools, as was UTSA the last two years, and it is really about giving their lower campuses a boost of revenue. Something that A&M knows nothing about since they regularly pillage the satellite schools for resources to fund their texum aggy football traditions.

I have been to A&M-College Station’s, Tennessee-Knoxville’s, and UVA’s campuses and there is no fucking way that I would choose to live in College Station over those other two.

Note: I have never been to Alabama’s campuses, nor do I ever intend to, but I can’t imagine that it is as bad as College Station.

I am going to float the names: Sydney Sweeney, Ana de Armas and a couple of other hollywood hotties by my wife and my chances with them are as real as aggy with the ones listed by aggy $9.95 ers
