Elko declined to say what Reed injured but indicated he’d play next week when the Aggies visit No. 9 Notre Dame.

“I fully anticipate Marcel being fine,” he said.

Lived 10 years in Chicago, the mountain passes heading south east past Gary were know to be treacherous in winter. Indiana isn't know as the Mountain State for no reason.

They sure were hyping this game Sun night on NBC. I'm sure it will go fine for aggy, facing a top 10 team on the road who's hungry and licking their wounds from a tough 3-point loss.

I read the first several posts. They are lock-step almost to a man to one side of the political spectrum. It seeps into everything they do. Just about no dissent. That's the Aggie thing about it. Around most places, many viewpoints are represented and voiced. There? Not so much.

Was this generated by A&M? Looks like anyone could have AI-ed it. The get so fucking far ahead of themselves. Imagine their peers Michigan State or South Carolina or Virginia Tech publishing something like this.

Maybe they mean the road to basking in ND's glory.

Make up your mind, dude, is the SEC a gauntlet or do a select number of teams not measure up?

I can't keep track of the permutations in Graham's mind. But, I suspect he can't either. Fuck aggy and/or the Surly troll who writes his column.

All media does.

I suspect it’s because they just like their “traditions” and think it’s cool so they associate that with the good things of college football. My conspiracy theory take is they just want someone—anyone—in the state of Texas to be better that UT so they can bash on Texas because that brings in ratings. It’s why they were jizzing themselves at the thought of the Texas/A&M rivalry resuming and the first game being at Kyle. You never hear media/podcast bros jizz at the thought of Texas/A&M being played at Texas, it’s always they want to see that game at Kyle because “it’s cool” and the whole win/loss record thing just amazingly escapes them.

I have it on good authority that the Media hates aggie and love the Horns!

Gonna add this one, just so you can compare it to the Texas writeup:

I know it's a troll, but jesus...I'm not even upset about the Texas ranking...but putting aggie 3?

You see they don't have to...it was ONLY an "SEC Gauntlet" until Texas showed up and ruined it.  Now it's a weak conference because of us.

Well, maybe some days are busier than others for an up and coming future Pulitzer prize winner. Life is a round circle my man. In some aspects the SEC is a gauntlet, is some it is not. We don't live in a binary world.

I am not Graham, just respect the effort.

The media does this same wash, rinse, repeat every year with the aggies. Always. None of them actually believe it unless you're window licker Desmond Howard-level.

It serves two purposes -

1) It makes 8&4 feel special that they have the media pumping them up

2) It gets people talking on their boards about it, which drives up revenue and get more eyeballs on the TV, even if it's the people like us who are in the wtf kind of shitty crack are they smoking?

You missed probably the most important one:

3) It keeps the cult from from issuing a fatwa, thus reducing incoming traffic via email, text, phone calls, boycott threats and sternly worded snail mail letters.

Back in my P&G days, people always wanted to ski the ‘top ski hill in the Midwest’! A 300 ft vertical ski hill about 45 minutes outside Cincinnati.

Well, that sounds a bit over my level but I've crushed the 225 vert at Swiss Valley in Michigan:

Lol, Wilmot, owned by the same company as Vail (not kidding) has 11 plus 2 "tube run" lifts for its "230" vertical feet. Pretty sure it was build on a landfill. When I went there it was 1 and a bar with some burgers.

It's the aggie version of Vail.

Well based on the SEC standings they're 11th and Mississippi St(which has a MUCH better win) is quite a bit higher.

TBF, Texas is like 14th, lol.

4th most watched of what is captured.  Nielsen data doesn't cover games on SECN, ACCN, ESPN News, CBSSN  and any ESPN+ or Peacock games.
