He does not have a shot to win a general, but he absolutely has an outside show to win the RNC nomination.  He has more fucking dirt on Trump than Garland, Bragg, Smith, and Georgia combined.  He is the spy who takes people down with him on his way out and gives not fuck one.  He is by far and away the most ruthless of anyone in that field.  And whats more, he's capable and competent.  He is the reason Pompeo just tucked his newly-discovered dick between his legs and ran home.

He has no fucking shot.

Do you really think the base will support John Bolton?

You people laugh, but that no talent ass clown finally got a hair cut, so he no longer looks like a Satanist. I think he's got a shot.

When you’re trying to rally morons to your flag that actually is a negative. Dude is really short with a ridiculous mustache. Trump will end him with one tweet

But Bolton has a heckuva hole card though.  He's the one that convinced Trump he was allowed to take 'classified: top secret documents' with him once he left office.  I'm guessing he assumed Trump wouldn't actually/couldn't actually go through with it.  But here we are.

So Tucker has been fired.  Whether it was comments about young girls that were caught on audio recordings, or his pro-Russian stance, or his pushing lies about the election, or him talking shit about his bosses or whatever, he's done, and the other Fox News personalities have been put on notice (he was supposedly told he was fired 10 minutes before they announced it on the air, lol).

Hannity has his radio show that makes him millions and that Fox News has nothing to do with, but Ingraham has nothing to fall back on, and both of them may love some conspiracy theories or Trump but neither one of them wants to give up the millions of dollars a year from Fox News.

Fox News still has the Smartmatic lawsuit that will cost them close a billion (maybe more) if they settle, and potentially billions if it goes to court, and if they fuck around again, they'll be sued again and have to settle or risk losing again.  So everybody is going to be on a tight leash, whether Fox News execs lay down the law with Hannity and Ingraham and others, or they police themselves over fear of getting Tuckered by the Murdochs.

Wonder what that will do in the run-up to the election next year.

in a moment of rare honesty, Ted Cruz told staffers he wants to wait to see who gets in the Senate race against him for 2024 before making a decision on running for POTUS.

I'm guessing that means if it's nobody truly serious, he'll throw his hat in the ring for POTUS.  If it is somebody serious, he doesn't want to gamble looking shitty again and coming home to run a statewide race even with a substantial R-advantage.

Contrary to popular belief, dropping out a presidential primary race is not a huge deal-breaker.  Many recent Presidents and VP's (even if they lost the general) dropped out of their party's primaries in past elections and went on to secure the nomination years later---Biden is one, Harris is one, Hillary Clinton is one, Romney is one, McCain is one, Gore is one, et. al.  And that's just the 2000's.

Unless a GOP'er wins 2024 and appoints Cruz to a cabinet or SCOTUS position...that guy ain't going anywhere for awhile.  He's like a genital wart.

Why hasn't someone taken Christie aside and just explained to him that it's an absolute impossibility for him to ever win the presidency as long as that photo exists on the internet. I audibly guffaw every time I see those preposterous softball pics. His opponent could end the contest at the first debate simply by wearing a tshirt with that image out on the debate stage. Headshot!

While it's not exactly CPAC, it's considered one of many early season anointments of GOP candidates for higher office because of all the young(er) VC/PE money at stake.  Maverick PAC has announced Chris Sununu will be the headliner this summer which has previously featured Rick Scott, Noem, Elise Stefanik, and Chris Christie.  Which I found interesting.

At least he's not criminally insane.  so there's that.  Sununu could run intellectual and debate circles around Trump.  Unfortunately for Chris though, his wife is legit ugly.

Nobody’s mentioned the latest entrant in the race for the GOP nomination. I suppose it really doesn’t matter because he doesn’t have a chance. The Republicans will never, ever elect a black president.

They would. They would say all the shit behind closed does, but they would absolutely elect a black Republican to say they did it.

That said, every entry into this primary increases the odds for Trump. I don’t know how they don’t recognize that.

What do you think Trump's nickname for Rick Scott will be? It's got to be something that references Scott's skin color while at the same time plausibly (however improbably) a description of something else.

Rick “not a real Scot”?

Dark money Rick?

Gritsy Ricky?

Rick’s Life Matters?

Ol’ Sunset Rick?

He'll probably just ignore him.  No need to come up with a nickname for someone polling in the low single digits.
