You want to know why so much of the country is fucked up? Complete ignorance and lack of availability of Chick o stick. Or even their peanut butter bars which I believe to be the finest confectionery available on the planet.

I, for one, salute the entire line of Atkinson's confectionaries.

1905 vanilla?

No, the Homemade Vanilla - I actually don't usually eat it, I buy it for my dogs and give them each a scoop at night for dessert.  But drunken times call for desperate measures (and I do alternate between the two, this week the dice just came up "homemade"...).

Harrison Ford That Belongs In A Museum GIF

It will probably be my greatest contribution to this thread, and I plan on having it for supper again tonight.  I'll have to find something to replace the Doritos though, that was the bottom of the bag.

Ok, I lied.  The bottom of the bag got dumped straight into my mouth.  But that was almost the bottom of the bag.

Braunschweiger slams and goes hard. Doritos bring the crunch it lacks. Gordon Ramsey should be so talented.

This particular Braunschweiger comes from the locker we have all our personal use hogs processed at.  It's firmer than most, having a consistency a little more on the spectrum of a sausage vs a pate, which makes it really well suited for sandwich construction, IMO.

If for some reason anyone here is within an hour of Elma, Iowa, it's absolutely worth the side bar to load up on meat.  All of their products are as good as pork processing gets, IMO.

Might be worth the drive.

You almost went too far for this thread, but then you added the Doritos and brought this right back to Shank town. Well done.

Sometimes the entries to this thread, while objectively delicious, run a little too hard into boujie territory.  You have to reel in some kind of trash aspect, or at least something that seemingly makes 0 sense to the unlearned palate.

Or add a cheese hinge.

I'm going to be in your neighborhood at the end of the month. Do they have braunschweiger at all times or is it special order?

Or I could follow the link you so graciously provided.

I actually didn't see any acknowledgment of it on their website, but it's always been in stock when I've visited the store personally.

We don't have the hogs we take home and throw into my deep freeze turned into braunschweiger, because my wife hates it.  I just buy a roll when I swing through.
