The king is Jesus and the president “has been willing to say it”, right before he posted an AI scat porn video of himself wearing a crown and flying a plane that says King Trump on it. Definitely a guy who believes Christ the King.

Oh, but it’s the Marxist and Islamic Democrats who are dividing this country. He should throw Antifa in there for completeness.

It's fucking crazy to me that White House vanity projects while most of the country is struggling just don't move the needle at all.

This type of shit is a first page, first paragraph entry in the "Politics 101: DON'T DO THIS STUFF" book, yet - for some reason - absolutely nothing matters anymore.

"Trump paid for it!"

Robert Hawks:

FIELD DISPATCH — ROBERT HAWKS

They said no demolition.

Nothing would be torn down.

Those were the words, neat, sterile, rehearsed for the cameras.

And now, as I write this, there’s a goddamn backhoe taking bites out of the East Wing of the White House like it’s a Twinkie.

The oldest continuously occupied seat of power in the free world, being gutted to make room for a ballroom - a ballroom - for a man who fancies himself the Sun King in a golf visor.

This isn’t just construction; it’s desecration dressed in marble.

It’s a lie wrapped in press-release politeness.

And they don’t even bother pretending anymore.

Why should they?

The public’s been gaslit so hard the flames are out.

Every day they test how much they can erase in daylight before anyone screams.

Turns out, a lot.

Turns out, all of it.

They told us “no tearing down,” and then they brought in bulldozers.

They said “respect for history,” and then they knocked it flat.

Two hundred years of ghosts - Lincoln’s corridors, Roosevelt’s footprints, Jackie’s gardens - traded for a chandelier the size of a small moon.

A golden ballroom for a would-be king, built on the bones of democracy itself.

It’s not about architecture.

It’s about audacity.

It’s about a regime so sure of its own impunity that it doesn’t even bother to lie convincingly.

They just say the words, and then they do the opposite, and they laugh when you point it out.

Because truth has become performance art, and history is just another obstacle to be bulldozed.

So yeah, they’re demolishing the East Wing.

But the bigger demolition happened years ago: the demolition of shame, of accountability, of the idea that power owes anyone an explanation.

The White House is bleeding dust, and somewhere beneath the rubble, the Republic coughs like an all American abandoned coal miner.

And for those of you who don't think that sort of outcome is coming before this presidential term is out, you are either lying to yourself, lying to everyone else, or both.

That sort of activity -- emboldened by the functional lack of true resistance thus far -- is exactly what the current iteration of ICE is made for, armed for, and intended for.  If you think that Stephen Miller will not order the wholesale slaughter of any and all who dare oppose the regime, you are deluded.

Shit, just this past Saturday I told my wife that if shit goes down, don't follow the crowd fleeing down the street, duck into alleys and use those.  They provide better defilade from projectiles, and are less likely to see active tear gas launches into them.  You best be thinking about the same any and every time you appear at anything even loosely associated with opposing the regime.

Can maga people explain why they are not antifascists?

They don't know what it actually means.  Just that Fox News and this admin said antifascists are bad.

At the rally in downtown Dallas my wife pointed out a guy standing on one of the buildings surrounding Pacific Plaza. He was oddly rocking back and forth to the point that it was unsettling. Our friend thought it a police sniper but he wasn't wearing a uniform. I finally decided he was operating the drone that was flying over the crowd but you can bet I was thinking where we needed to go if the shit went down. There was definitely a Dallas PD presence on one of the parking garages on another side.

What moron believed the lie that "there would be no demolition of existing White House structures" to build this vanity ballroom?  If it's integrated into the main structure, shit's coming down.  Otherwise, it's a separate building with some kind of covered walkway, perhaps walled in with some kind of interface to each building and maybe HVAC, which would fall right in line with the architectural standards currently in place (lol).  (Not that Trump gives a shit about architectural standards, he wants to live in Versailles.)

The thought that comes to mind is "doesn't he need permission to do this shit to the White House"?

And the answer is:

He doesn’t give a fuck because no one will stop him.

Also, y'all may recall Erez Reuveni, the DOJ immigration lawyer that was canned for admitting to the court that Kilmar Abrego-Garcia was deported in error.

This is kind of old, but here's the whistleblower letter.  It's tl/dr. but an inside look at the disorganized, dissembling bunch that are running DHS and DOJ.  https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/06-24-2025_-_Protected_Whistleblower_Disclosure_of_Erez_Reuveni_Redacted.pdf

He apparently was on 60 Minutes yesterday.

Erez Reuveni can suck it.   He worked in the DOJ during the Trump's entire 1st term.  He gladly went along with all of the bullshit and now tries to look like a stand up guy.

And if that guy had to take a stand that tells you how bad things have gotten at DOJ.

i'll guess this board is 40% pro trump, but most remain silent. but i have to ask, why does ICE need guided missiles ?

I did a bit of a search on this and can’t find anything but this Substack as a source and I’m frankly really skeptical.

The United States does not posses or produce chemical weapons. It’s unclear what missiles the warheads would go on and what platform they’d be used with. There’s no missiles in the DHS inventory to use.

Best guess is this guy caught wind of some sort of DHS purchase under Federal Supply Classification (FSC) Code 1336, which includes:

Quote

1336 Guided Missile Warheads and Explosive Components Includes Warheads Containing Military Chemical Agents; Exercise Heads, Guided Missile. Excludes Atomic Ordnance Warheads; All other Warheads for use on other than guided missiles; Liquid Propulsion Units; Rocket Engines (Liquid Propellant Units); JATO Units; Rocket Motors (Solid Propellant Units) for Guided Missiles; Solid Fuel Propulsion Units; Propellant Chemicals encased in consumable containers, such as squibs and cartridges for insertion into missile propulsion systems as integral parts.

Could be something not so ominous; in this timeline, more likely that they're planning to transition their speedboat targeting operation from the military to DHS. Who fucking knows, but the decision to fund Trump's private police to the tune of $170B is going to go down in history as one of the biggest Congressional fuck-ups of all time.

(Somewhat) oddly tear gas and riot control agents are banned on the battlefield for escalation reasons but not for civilian riot control use. The U.S. and most countries use it for riot control.

Not that I trust modern ICE with it, but under other admins I wouldn’t blink an eye.
